Decent place, if you catch them on the right time... If not, they are not very people tolerant, and will berate you on random things, and pin stuff on you even if they already said something else to be true. On a good time, they are friendly and nice to deal with, and affordable prices.
We had Paul at Green Country build us an insulated 20x30 pole barn. Pauls crew of 2, Todd and his son Gregory built it in 2 weeks or so. Had to pause for weather a few times, had to build a road too. We are happy with build and looking to build another one. Paul answered all our questions and walked us through the process. Ernie and Christy.
Back in 2020 we purchased some galvanized roofing material from these people and was pleased with the items and service so we contacted them again to order more of the same materials this year. We needed the material pre cut just like the ones we bought last year and the lady that took our order and we paid in advance to get them pre cut. She said they would call when done. We received a call 3 days later from a gentlemen who said our order was ready. We went to pick it up 2 days later 06/16/2021. But when we got there we were told that they could not pre cut the material and that we did not specify that we needed it pre cut. NOT TRUE!! The only reason we went back to them was because they said they would pre cut. The man at the company got really rude and at one point tossed some tin snips at my husband and told him to take them and get out of his store and cut the material himself. Then grabbed the tin snips back and told us to get out of his store. We asked for a refund and the man told us they didnt give refunds. NOT HAPPY CAMPERS WITH THESE PEOPLE and the way they do business.
DON’T GO HERE! The testimonials are from employees. This place put up a 200’ metal fence for me & part of it blew down. The panels that blew down did not have the posts dug deep enough AND did not have enough concrete or screws on them. The panels had screws right on the edge of the panels & posts & were not secured properly. The owner wanted to charge me a 2nd time to repair this poor workmanship. After sending him pictures he messaged me a profanity-laced reply blaming me (which I’ve noticed he does to all people complaining). So much for your “Christian-based “Business
So nice to have building materials store back out in the Sand Springs and Mannford area. I stopped by there to see if they might have some additional materials for my home building project and I was completely shocked that they have a massive metal roof panel producing facility right in their lot. The huge building that I saw when I entered the facility is where they custom build roof trusses and bend and fabricate their sheet metal roofing for each building client. As I was going around to the covered building material shed, I saw two very nice highly professional metal panel benders/manufacturers. I mean these monsters must be 40 feet long and capable of building first rate roof panels on site. I noticed their showroom has now got anything from metal shears to nail guns to most any kind of tool or fastener you might need to build a building. From axes to picks, to drills and bits all the way to a medium selection of pet supplies to help make your trip to Green Country Building Materials a worthy stop.I really want this place to stick around so go by there.. I get tired of having to go all the way into downtown or into Tulsa to get building materials. If you are planning any kind of metal building, come by and see Paul, the owner. Seems to be a real expert in this industry and will guide you right through the process. 5 stars.
Drove 2 hours to buy a chicken coop, of which she told me she had 10 of them the day before... I called the next day before leaving the house and told her I wanted to be sure she had one before making the drive. We drove two hours one way, arrived and she had not one to sell me. Not one. Then we had to drive two hours back home empty handed. No offers to make it right. I had to ask to see if they were getting more and if they would drop ship. She didnt know. Wasted half a day... and gas, not happy.
Paul and staff have been absolutely amazing in helping not only myself, but my grandmother navigate the ins and outs of the construction process for TWO buildings. They are incredible knowledgeable, competitively priced, supremely helpful and just all around wonderful to work with!
This is not only a fantastic business, but a fantastic contributor to our community. Green Country Building Materials donated the lumber to our FBC Prue Kids ministry so we could build our set and decorations for a successful Vacation Bible School!
Dont do it. Find someone else. Husband ordered a building kit and did not receive all materials. Had to purchase an additional $500 in materials from our local hardware store. Delivery was scheduled and rescheduled several times and finally we had to pick it up ourselves. I wanted waiscotting on our building and it was cut longer than it should have been...so now I have a building that is half light grey and half dark grey. Paul was extremely rude and does not posess good business practices. You can thank me later when I save you the trouble of dealing with this company.
Decent enough place. Prices are a little bit high. Havent been in business very long. Seems to only have one employee. Not sure Ill be a return customer
Its a great place! They sell dog food now, wood and pellet burning stoves, valspar paint, and also provide UPS shipping! One stop shop!🙂
Only place around you can get metal panels, cut to order, same day.
