Living on Long Island, we reside in a black hole for any donuts that are not Dunkin produced. And so, coming off the Cape, we were excited to find Cape Cod Donuts was right on our route.We pulled into the parking area and saw a short line next to a tiny trailer. As we approached, we were greeted by a kind older gentleman who asked if we had ordered yet. Upon hearing we had not, he helpfully directed us to where we could order. (More about this man in a moment.)We ordered a mixed dozen, with two maple bacon (added for added cost) and waited. The donuts were made to order and came in a nicely laid out tray. We sampled the maple bacon and it was delicious, amply supplied with real bacon and a just-right maple glaze.And then we tried the blueberry! Fresh blueberries burst their flavor into our mouths in complement to the still-warm cake donut.You will not want to miss this place if you have any appreciation for donuts.Now, while you wait, you will do yourself a favor if you come across and have a chat with the older gentleman sitting at the table adjacent to the trailer. Pause for a moment and discover more about life and living from this gentleman. He and his generation will pass before long and he and they carry experiences and lessons that need heard and heeded. Take a moment and catch something about life as you wait for a delicious donut.

Although I am usually a raised donut person, I really enjoyed these. These cake donuts were light and fluffy inside and crisp and golden on the outside. They even throw in some donut holes with your order which is so fab! I love that the strawberry blueberry donut had huge juicy blueberries inside - none of those awful dried blueberry chips.

Stopped at the little donut trailer, the guy was rolling out the dough and stamping them out as we ordered. Has to be the best blueberry and strawberry donuts I ever ate. Make this a stop even if you plan on eating breakfast somwhere else. Friendly owners. Also try the red velvet, and the bag of nuggets.

These donuts are delicious!! Saved this splurge for the last day! Got chocolate and glazed and old-fashioned. Soft inside and a bit crispy outside. It is in fact a small food truck on the property of an ice cream shop. (I doubted I got the right location) went early about 830 on a Friday and shortly after I pulled up 2 others pulled up. I mention that because I feel on cape you always want to know how crowded things are..

These donuts alone would bring me back to the Cape (not a joke). Strong coffee to boot. I second the review earlier, y’all really are doing the lord’s work.

We were looking for good donuts and this was the only option besides dunks and honeydew within a 20 mile radius of where we were. Parked in the lot of the Ice Cream Sandwich ice cream shop is a small truck, a couple guys and some amazing donuts.Its a bit of a wait when there are orders ahead of you but nothing beats a tray of fresh warm donuts. Ill definitely be back to try the fritters

Awesome! Was dying for a real homemade donut that is not from one of the chains. Was very happy with our choice, although they were sold out of a lot of the favorites, we tried the chocolate, red velvet and the apple fritters. My favorite was the red velvet, OMG it was delicious!

How you can give this anything but 5 stars is beyond me. It just looks like a little food truck...but some of the best donuts ever....when we got our trays the donuts were warm and the glaze was dripping off. Fresh bluebeery and cranberry used clearly. Will definitely visit again when we head back to the cape.

Best donuts you will ever eat! He bakes them fresh and you eat them warm. My favorite is Alyssa’s blueberry. It has a glaze over it and the blueberries just burst in your mouth all warm and delicious. It truly is a gem. Once you try it, you will keep going back!

Been here a dozen times donuts are 5 star. Now it’s a one star review since I was told to go elsewhere for the record it wasn’t a young kid it was two younger Guys just saying was two heavy set guys working in the truck. And no you lost business and they didn’t order ahead. Was nice enough to give 3 stars Owner cant take a little criticism boo hoooo. Been to this place a dozen times probably spent 100s and you get told to go elsewhere quite ridiculous.
