This is in back and around the side of another restaurant. Parking is in the back. They made a great coffee frappe (milk shake). The line wasnt long. Service was friendly and pleasant. They take phone pay which I prefer.

The perfect lobster roll should be on a toasted brioche bun, with minimal Mayo, a little celery, and a healthy dose of paprika. We have scoured the Cape, and this is the spot. They also have very good ice cream!

Lovely girl waited on us. Just felt like mine was from bottom of barrel. Should Have asked what wad newly opened. Great selections.

Closes too early at 7:00 PM. Shocked to find out that you have to pay 50 cents extra to get your ice cream in a cone. It is served in a cup unless you specifically order a cone. A new meaning for ice cream cone. Premises is well kept but staff not particularly friendly.

The icecream was great the servings are huge. Only 2 stars off because they served everyone their icecream even the people that ordered after us and we had to ask for our order after waiting 20 minutes. Unfortunately they forgot us and that really sucks as a customer for a place this developed they should have a system in place. But we literally were the first to order and last to stand AND THEN had to ask for it.

Of the two flavors I had, one was excellent and the waffle cone was amazing. I think some of the negative reviews are unfair due to Covid. They seem to be reopening on pace with everyone else. Very pleased with our visit.

The owner, Kevin, greeted us after we ordered and gave our kids magic color changing ice cream spoons. The homemade ice cream flavors are unique and very, very good. The Hotdogs had a really great crunch to the outer skin. A kids sized ice cream was large enough for an adult. Nice place to stop on your way into or out of the Cape.

Was able to try 2 flavors in my ice cream sundae, went with Sandy Neck and Boardwalk Mud and they did hot fudge, whipped cream, nuts and a cherry. Just delicious. Looking forward to trying the Lemon Shortbread and Coffee Heath next time! Friendly, fast service. Plenty of parking. I love that the owner came out to schmooze and talk to everyone in line, too. Oh, and they accept credit cards! Great visit tonight, looking forward to my next visit. Thanks, guys!

Ice cream selection is amazing here. I had the moose tracks...But the real treat? The Lobster Roll. Its insanely expensive at 21 bucks but for a one time New England Classic its worth it. Literally the best Ive ever had. Not to mention the porch and decor is super charming!

Ice cream was fine, nothing special. Service was good. When we were there there were at least six people who were not wearing masks. Even though there were signs posted to wear masks, they were still served. Will not go back.

IceCream is so good. I usually get Maple walnut in a fresh baked waffle cone.

Super confused. Facebook pages says there are three sugar free flavors and one sugar free soft serve. However all the girls at this place flippantly insisted they had nothing whatsoever that was sugar free. They were nice but not eager to help.

Wicked Good Chocolate is the best ice cream ever!!! Rich dark chocolate with fudge swirl and imported chocolate chunks and shavings. Great butter crunch as well. Generous portions. Regular size is more than enough unless you have a super size appetite. Chocolate dipped cones are fantastic! Highly recommend this rich homemade ice cream.

So many great flavors: Cranberry Bog is a personal favorite. Celtic Pride is super Mint Choc chunk. Lemon shortbread is wonderful on a hot summer day. Peach when fresh peaches are in season. Something for everyone. Kiddie cones, doggie cones and soft serve too. Award winning lobster rolls.

Nice ice cream shop with comfortable outdoor seating. Since it is so popular, be prepared for a bit of a line. They are efficient in fulfilling the orders. The owner greeted us in line outside and answered any questions we had. The vanilla (hard) cup with gummy bears (extra topping) was good. The soft serve strawberry cone was good as well.

Kevin the owner was so pleasant. He visited our table to see if we enjoyed our ice cream. (Which we did!)He also brought my husband some water which was much needed at that time.The young girls who worked at the register and taking orders were extremely pleasant and helpful!Will definitely return!!

Great flavors

Ice cream is yummy here. Nice porch area or you can sit inside in a parlor-type environment. Free samples of the flavors so you can make a good informed decision. Owner was on premises to chat and hand out samples (very friendly in that Willy Wonka type way). One of us did get an eponymous ice cream sandwich .... it was enjoyed.

The owner talked to us at length and the ice cream was awesome! The soft serve was particularly creamy and delicious and you could really tell they put their heart and soul into what they do! Great homemade ice cream!

The flavors were somewhat limited, only about 15-20. The ice cream was good but nothing special. The shop and the porch and take out window were very nice, better than most.

We were minutes away from the shop closing when the owner himself welcomed us in and explained all of our questions and made it very clear how committed he was to his business. I was a very great experience and without a doubt makes me want to come back again. The ice cream is outstanding and the service is great. 5 stars.

The best home made ice cream and waffle cones - even the soft serve is created right there. And SO creamy! The owner came out to greet everyone while waited in the long but quick-moving line, answering questions, making suggestions, and giving out tasting samples. Oh, and a nice, cold drinking fountain outside is a great touch.

I frequently stop at Ice Cream Sandwich, particularly for their home made varieties and lobster rolls. I’m not going again, however, until they address their rat problem. All the while we were eating a rat was running around the porch and picnic area. When I mentioned it to the staff they responded “oh, they’re in the trash—as long as they are not inside”. Not acceptable!

Im from NY and my family just sort of stumbled upon this place. Ice cream was delicious, they had nice seating out front and my kids couldnt get enough of the gumball machine. Customer service wasnt the best, I kind of got the feeling the teenage girls didnt like their job. Other than that, great!

In my opinion, this place has the best ice cream in the upper Cape area. Ive tried a lot of them; Twin Acres, Shipwreck, Polar Cave, Sweet Carolines and more. While the other places are good, Ice Cream Sandwich is hands down the best. Several flavors standout: Sandy Neck, Lemon Shortbread, Salted Caramel and Shark Bait, Boardwalk Mud, and Peanut butter Oreo.One more note, the lobster rolls are fantastic!

After hearing so much about this shop I finally stopped by this weekend. Id been told their namesake ice cream sandwiches were the place to start. Not seeing any sort of selection of them on the outside menu I asked the teenage girI behind the counter what flavors they came in. Unfortunately, I couldnt hear half of what she said because she kept turning her head. So, I settled for the chocolate chip cookie with vanilla ice cream. For $7.00 I honestly expected a lot better than what I got. The ice cream was frozen so thoroughly hard as to be borderline freezer burn. The cookie too was hard and crumbled with each bite with a third of it landing on me and the ground. Thankfully the lost pieces did not go to waste. The ever present sparrows were there to clean up my waste. The tree shaded patio area was pleasant and fairly clean. But, relaxing in the plastic faux Adirondack chairs gives one time to notice that the buildings chipping white trim is long overdue a paint job. Id heard about their award winning $20 lobster rolls, and I do love a good lobster roll. However, considering their are so many more ways to screw up lobster salad Ill pass for now.

I have been going to Ice Cream Sandwich since I was a little kid. I live a few streets away and would always ride my bike there for some ice cream. The ice cream is amazing, my favorite is the soft-serve flavor burst in a cone. They always have pretty girls working there which helps, but they also know EVERYTHING about each type of ice cream and have always been polite and patient with customers. Summer nights the place is packed with long lines, but its worth it!

The best homemade ice cream! So many great choices, the owner and employees are very friendly. If u like peanut butter ice cream, they make Peanut butter ice cream with Oreos and its the best! Also Birthday cake ice cream is another favorite of mine. Theres an awesome flavor for everyone!

Strawberry cream cheese soft serve was incredible! Mochachino soft serve was good too (had to steal a bite). Their location is cute and a nice place to sit and enjoy a cone at the end of a day. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Found this hidden gem on vacation earlier this year. Their ice cream is great, and their grilled cheese is amazing! I still crave it. Their lobster roll is also A+!

Went in yesterday afternoon. Owner was there and was extremely full of it!. Nine dollars for three scoops of OK icecream. Will not be back. Too many other good icecream shops within one mile of this place. And, owner evidently is buying a local restaurant as he was bragging about it to anyone within ear shot. Guess what? Wont be going there either.
