Such a wide variety of foods to choose from! I was one of a group of 20 who were served in a private dining area. Our server was fantastic....efficient, helpful, and smiled the whole time!!! I chose the florentine omelet with grits. The grits were superb. The omelet was very good, but not fluffy like Im use to.... I ate it all anyway👍😉! Quite a few different dishes were served to our group with no complaints. Amazingly, all orders were correct and served in a timely fashion. Looking forward to returning. Yes, this excellent situation may have occurred because we were there with a reservation made several days ahead of time, but it was handled very well. Kudos to the manager and our server ......!

Delicious. I get the scrambled egg sandwich at curbside pickup at least once a week. Generous egg portion and the biscuit has that perfect balance of barely crunchy on the outside and fluffy on the inside.

This place is pretty good. Patty melt was good but it felt like it was missing something. A zing of something but what that something is I cant pin point. Maybe a sauce, I dont know. I would stop here again maybe to try and figure it out.

Hostess has bad attitude. Eat there every weekend. Went in today to eat. Had my granddaughter tell hostess how many to get table. She went ahead and sat 3 other groups and got attitude when I questioned her about why. It wont be our weekend place anymore for a while

Had the gyro salad bowl. Huge portions, lots of variety in the bowl. Served with 2 pieces flat bread, plenty of dressing, on the side and separate dressing for the flat bread. Took a huge punt home...oh and it was delicious 😋

My family and I have been ordering from Sandy Springs Diner for years. Their menu is HUGE, so even picky eaters will find something they’ll like. My go to is the Greek gyro platter. The tzatziki sauce is bomb and it comes with a yummy salad with stuffed grape leaves (omg) and also a side of their thick steak fries which are the BEST! And of course every time we go in there’s gorgeous cakes in the display case and choosing which flavor to get is always a struggle. I would highly recommend the baklava cheesecake. So delicious. Thank you Sandy Springs Diner for being my family’s go-to for so many years!

Awesome menu. I had the grilled tuna sammich! Great service. Hubby had a grilled chicken sandwich. 2 chicken breast on it. We both walked out talking about how good the food was. Delivered to our table hot.

I visited for first time, ordered lunch. I would have visited before but they were not open early enough for our breakfast timing. My waitress was fair enough upon arrival but after I ordered, she plopped the food down on the table, not a word, on to next table and no other interaction until I had to flag her down to prepare my leftovers and check. She didnt ask me how things were, did I need anything or no refills. I tend to let things pass because everyone has a bad day. I love their wide menu selections and plan to return.

Sandy Springs Dinner is a great place to go if you want Hearty meal and a drink. I had enough to to eat for breakfast, and coffee refills. The staff was wonderful a very nice place to go.

Sweet tooth satisfaction. Came here after dinner. Pieces so big I bet you cant finish it all. Coffee was spot on too.

My sister and I went there for breakfast yesterday. Our server Jamie was great. He made sure we have we needed before we asked. The food was very good. We will go back.

This place is Awesome! If you love diners you will love this place. Huge menu selections with huge portions. Owner on premise everyday keeping a watchful eye on the food and staff. Must try the baklava with cheesecake- genius. Gyro is very food. Biscuits are dense and buttery. French toast off the chain. Made with brioche. This a must stop if you are a foodie.

My first time hereHot the breakfast plate with lots of meat. The meats were very salty. Potatoes were great as was the french toast

Was visiting from out of town and this place was opened on New Years day so decided to try it, despite some not so good reviews. The place was very busy and we were afraid it would take forever but food came within reasonable time. It was 5 of us and we had a mix of breakfast and lunch items and everyone said they enjoyed their meals. My husband had the Turkey Reuben and it was delicious, especially the bread! Not greasy as others Ive had in other places. If Im in town again, I would visit again!

Love this place... its by job. I Go here for breakfast and lunch. I Love this diner for the plentiful of serving they give You! Even the breakfast have a lot! I always call in for take out and they are nice. Hvnt had the pleasure of actually dinning in. My go to meals are the porkchops dinner, burger and club sandwich for lunch. Breakfast I get them good ol cheese grits and chicken sausage sometimes bacon.. 😋. But, give them a try.. its well worth it!!

I ordered the catfish platter and they didnt have any tartar sauce. As I was checking out to leave I jokingly said to the owner you guys didnt have any tartar sauce you do know you can make it. He rudely responded Im not making any tartar sauce I have a 15-page menu. Still trying to figure out what that had to do with tartar sauce. Moral of the story do not be rude to loyal customers Ive been with you since you opened.

This place is better than IHOP and Dennys. The quality and quantity of food you get for the price paid is impressive, and you can tell someone who cares about food owns it. The variety on the menu is amazing!! AND THEY HAVE MIMOSAS.

This place is awesome! It’s a great little diner with lots of charm and a delightfully friendly staff. There is an extensive menu sure to please everyone. The chocolate mousse alone is worth a return trip. The dinning room is currently closed but they are doing take-out and delivery.

We come here once or twice a month and always love the food. I thought Id change my take on my usual and ordered the fish and chips. The fish was fried well done. The clams were chewy and shrimp not good either. Our server asked if I wanted a box to take home leftovers and I told her no and told her why. Nothing was done.The fish was not good at all.

Yes go there just absolutely such good food. YES it’s diner food don’t expect Bougie Atlanta style food it’s not. But it is beyonddd good once you go there you will NEVER go to ihop again. This diners pancakes are like insanely good. Just SO good eggs are perfect and I’m very basic so I do get chicken tenders and fries as well 😂. The only thing I would say to improve on is there home fries I would like them a lot crispier however when I door dash it won’t let me pick special instructions. Oh well still my favorite breakfast place.

This place was awesome! Up close and personal with lots of animals. Glad I did not drive my own vehicle and rented one of their vans. Animals bang the vehicle with horns, jump up on the side of it and slobber over everything. Lots of fun!

I was not impressed with the food. I got the chicken ceasar salad and the dressing was so salty that i could not eat the salad. Also, the bathroom was really dirty and there was not hand soap in the dispenser. My coworkers really enjoyed their food.

Unfortunately I had to walk out because I didn’t even get a chance to order past an orange juice. The waitress decided that a couple who came in after me was more important. After sitting for 10 minutes with just an orange juice I walked out. I refuse to give my money to businesses who don’t value ALL of their customers. First time here and also my last.

The food was very good. The cleanliness was off. The tables were not as clean as need be with it being slow. There was a spill of food on the floor that was not cleaned also.

The people are really nice, but the food is mediocre to bad.Ive had the tuna melt and it is way overloaded with tuna and soggy, and I had the Greek platter and the spanakopita was dry and tasteless the moussaka was terrible and it didnt even come with hummus.

I ate at The Sandy Springs Diner Friday, August 9, 2019 @ 1:15 PM. Food was WONDERFUL. I had a cheesesteak with steak fries. The Cheesesteak bread was toasted and hot and no condiment could do the sandwich justice. My server was a bit shy and hard to communicate with. She did not offer me any condiments for my fries so I just used the ketchup at the table. She did not check on me while I ate. Perhaps she was new and so I understood. The restaurant was very clean. I will recommend this restaurant to my coworkers for lunch.

Best assortment of meals in town, heavy, light, or medium sizes and servings. Great for families of any size below 10. Healthy food available! Great salads and Greek geared cuisine. Enjoy all that Sandy Springs has to offer all in one place.- D & K Orr

The food and atmosphere was great and the service was wonderful!! We sat outside and were distanced from others. The servers had masks on and they had hand sanitizer on the tables. They were taking all the precautions!! Kudos!! Some days you *want* a diner experience, and the Sandy Springs Diner does a fine job of it.

This was my first time eating at the Restaurant. I ordered the Belgian Waffles with Fresh Strawberries and Whip cream. I loved it. The Waffle was light and Fluffy. The Strawberries were a nice compliment to the Whip cream. I also tried The Pastrami Reuben Sandwich and French fries. Everybody was happy with their food. I will definitely be back.

The outside shrubbery looks rough so I was skeptical. It’s much smaller than I thought. Wish I was at Marietta Diner instead. The greeter was also the server and she told me to sit anywhere. There was a manager (Im assuming) with laptop open occupying bar. We ordered and it didn’t take long to get our breakfast meal. The server didn’t come back at all. She was cleaning other tables and literally never came back. I waited 35 min, no straw, no refill, no nothin. Just an ehhh experience could’ve been changed with common server etiquette. Marietta Diner is the standard!

I have never in my life felt so invisible in an establishment. When we arrived, we had to flag down our waiter to even get our order taken. We order coffee and food immediately (we had just hiked 5 miles). After seeing tables who had came in after us, receive their food (and 40 minutes later), our waiter had still not came to refill coffee or see us. We flagged down the manager to ask. He proceeded to make an excuse stating “everything is made fresh, so it takes a little longer”. The waiter then came over about 10 minutes later saying “unfortunately the food has gotten cold somehow and they are now remaking it” — how has it gotten cold? Did you not pick it up? Did you forget you had a table?? There were only about 7 tables occupied in the restaurant and 3 waiters taking orders. After about 20 minutes (total wait time about 1 hr and 13 mins), I start grabbing other waiters to figure out what is going on. Being extremely hungry and irritated, I inform the other waiters what’s going on— who assumed we had already ate! The audacity that the waiter had still not came to see the table or provide explanation- continues to run other people’s food orders. He finally comes over and I tell him to pay for coffee and OJ because we are leaving. TOTAL WASTE OF 1.5 HOURS! DO NOT GO HERE, DO NOT RECOMMEND!!! The food status was still not provided. This unprofessional waiter probably forgot to put our order in or deliver it. Manager was NOT helpful with rectifying the situation either. Worst experience I’ve had since COVID. You would think after being closed for so long during the pandemic, establishments would value customers... but not this place. WOULD GIVE NO STARS IF POSSIBLE!!!!

Ordered the melt. It was really good, fries were pretty bland. Waiter didnt ask how wed pay and just gave me the bill.

Food was excellent but service was terrible! Waited 45 minutes for hamburger and baklava that was already made. Had to remind them many times for milk for our coffee. To succeed, they really need more waitstaff. I feel bad for them because their burger was one of the best I ever had in a diner, and they were very nice people.

We had a tight schedule and it was thanksgiving morning and could not find a restaurant open heading from Canton to Dunwoody Metro Marta Station. We saw them open and was seated right away and very friendly. Great experience and the food was great!

Ive missed those diners in NY and the food here is solid, reliable, the portions are huge and the prices are very reasonable. For all that and the classic huge diner menu, Im grateful. I always try a Ruben at a new diner and this one was on point! Wanted to finish the Ruben for taste, but it was so big I now get to eat some later! Good onion rings. Good slaw. Good pickle. Exactly the diner experience I love.The place was very clean and the food was well presented.For hospitality, well, the rating is formally 4 stars, but Id go lower. Waitress was very slow to get our drinks. Slow again to get our orders. Drinks (water) never refilled or even asked about. I saw 3 different groups of customers wait and be pointed to a table.It seems like Sandy Springs Diner is an establishment. Theyre confident in what they do and the hospitality end of it is not their focus. Id say Ill be back, but wouldnt take visiting friends there.A place with this many 5 star reviews ought to be thanking those reviewers rather than debating their bad reviews. Again, just like a NY (Greek) diner!!!

Portions are huge here, which I love at any restaurant because it means they arent trying to get over on you. I definitely recommend the gyros which are huge and delicious. Made-from-scratch cakes are a must for desert- especially the cheesecakes!

Their hours are longer than another favorite restaurant that I also frequent. Some of their orders off the menu are larger than expected for the price, like their salads for example. The food is good and they have Steak Fries!

The lemon chik orzo soup...delicious especially on a cold and or rainy day/evening. Get the bowl not a cup or get 2, one to eat now & one for later. Service was slow last time but the soup is my go to fav.
