Ive lived in Sanford for over two years now, and JUST found Books at a Steal earlier this week! I was greeted warmly as I walked through the door, and informed about the books on the cart at the front where books where a dollar per bag, as well as deals once a month. All of their prices where reasonable, so I picked a few nice paperbacks, as well as a cookbook for $2.14 with tax! Books are sorted properly, by subject and then author. I was surprised at all of the well rounded categories in stock. I will be visiting the store weekly, as they have a lot of books on various subjects in fiction as well as non fiction that I still want to read. The best part is that this business is a non profit, so the profit benefits the local literacy program! This makes this book store priceless to me.

I have been shopping here pretty much since they opened up about 12 or so years ago. They have a huge plethora of books to choose from at great prices! The last time that I was there, I was permitted to go in the employees only room where there was even more to choose from! It was so amazing!

The prices here are unbeatable and the reason you would want to visit. The biggest drawback is that it lacks any new or newish books. I struggled to find books that had been released in the last few years. But if youre looking for older books at a great price, this place is for you!

This is such an awesome establishment! The proceeds go to the shelters and they have an amazing selection of books that wont break you. Bring the books you dont want in to help them out and buy some.

Books are in excellent used condition. Theres places to sit and read and theres a childrens room. The staff are super friendly. Excellent spot for book lovers!

What a nice little used bookstore! There is a flat rate on paperbacks and hardbacks. They had a hefty discount on religious books the day I went.

Affordable used books and a pleasant atmosphere with a huge childrens section. They also have bins where you can choose books from to fill a bag for only one dollar.
