Had a great experience purchasing our new home. Everyone at Clayton Homes of Sanford was very helpful and I will be referring people that I know looking for a new home to visit this lot.

Went in to look at buying a new home. Was Not shown anything, handed keys to one home. NO one was interested in talking to meWill go to a different dealer. Maybe they will be interested in getting my business.

Beautiful homes.Wish there was someway that a person who is wheelchair bound could get inside the displays.In response to Claytons virtual tour option. All well and good, but you dont know if a wheelchair can Actually Fit through a doorway unless you try it, or in a bath room, unless you try it.And the unwillingness of the builders to make changes to accommodate a wheelchair bound goes against the grain!!As much as I like the house, we will be looking elsewhere.

They have some very nice homes on the lot to view. Everyone is very helpful and courteous.

The staff are very friendly but at times communication can be much better ..it seems as if maybe the messages are not getting passed to the person it needs to get to ..therefore hindering things to get done which is irritating..hopefully things under the house isn’t ruin from the cats and God knows what else is getting under there from things being unfinished.

By far the worst experience I’ve ever had. After 8 months of no communication, we walked away with no home. By the time they were ready to do their jobs (8 months later) they then had the audacity to rush us. Raised our price and changed our contract 3 different times. They told us they would raise the house, then last minute refused to raise the house. They will try their best to manipulate you. Don’t waste your time!!

Very friendly, good prices. But I don’t think they take their jobs to seriously and their in a hurry to sell something. But after paper work they will take their time and tell you what you want to hear. They gave us 2 dates that we will be moved in by and now we’re onto the 3rd date. They will text to let us know a day that they will finish the house so we can close and fail to do it on that day. They gave us 2 dates also for that. They told us as soon as they set the house up to call electric company so they can hook power to it. We did and Clayton’s didn’t have panel box put up. We had more problems but I think this is good enough. So if you want to go somewhere that takes their jobs seriously and when they give you their word that something will be done then this isn’t the place to go. But like I said earlier in the post. Their very friendly and the prices on the house is excellent.

Went to the Sanford location and spoke with Justin. I cant say enough good things about him. He was very real, very down to earth, NOT A SALESPERSON by any stretch. (And I would know because I AM one.) He took his time with us, showed us anything we wanted to see. Answered all of our questions, and made us feel so comfortable and so welcome. If you are considering this type of home ownership, Do NOT make a decision, without at least going to talk to him. Also, Their pricing is very very reasonable. Id give 10 stars if I could.

Has some nice homes but not alot of communication.

Friendly agents. I like the fact that they allowed us to visit the homes on our own, and the modulars & mobile homes were quite nice. I also like that they warned us about formaldehyde possibly being in some of the house treatments.

Didn’t feel like they were to interested in us or starting the process. We were stopped mid way threw couldn’t even finish looking at homes. It was a uncomfortable experience . Go to the Raleigh location and ask for Jackie I’m so excited to work with her 💕

The site, itself is a nice experience. However, the delivery and set-up of the purchase leaves much to be desired. Two of the faucets leaked badly, one toilet was cracked, the dishwasher isnt working, and the porches were built badly. It takes forever to get them out to fix everything. I am very disappointed.

Didnt act like they was interested in us and didnt try much to help me even when I had a good credit score

Clayton has beautiful homes but Justin is not the person you want to see he was rude and in a hurry didnt want to help me at all . he kept saying there was nothing he could do unless my credit was 640. I contacted Clayton homes in Florence SC and they have helped me out with a credit score of, 603 I am on my way into my home.
