I just had one of the sweetest experiences at the Target in the Galleria! An employee named Leslie went above and beyond for me. She truly is the kindest human being. She was so incredibly nice and helpful with assisting me with my curbside order. She deserves so much recognition for being so caring and having excellent customer service. Target should be very proud to have employees like her who truly are good people. Thank you so much Leslie. I will always be a loyal Target customer because of YOU! Truly- you helped me more than you know especially because I am a Mama and had a sleeping toddler in the car. Thanks again! Leanna :)

This Target is always clean, and the employees are always friendly. Its a great location. The only downside is the store is very limited in what they carry compared to other Target locations, and isnt nearly as well stocked with things they do carry. You can usually find what you need here, but youre better off checking online if its something you arent flexible about.

Great addition to the Santa Barbara retail landscape. This national retail giant has been sought after for decades. For the faithful locals who have been anxiously awaiting this day, we can now celebrate the triumphant arrival.

This has to be the smallest Target I have ever seen in my life! With only 91 parking spaces, parking is very difficult. However, it has a little bit of everything! From stationary to fresh produce to HomeGoods even electronics this place has a little bit of everything. Although I found the mens clothing selection to be a joke, they did offer some clothing for men. The childrens & womens section for clothing is a little bit bigger. Do not need to use the bathroom as it is two single bathrooms!Considering the square footage the liquor beer and wine section is large. There is easy access from a bus stop directly in front. And I believe it runs a shuttle bus from downtown Santa Barbara to the Target store. Its an interesting little store but I doubt I will return.

Target? Really? I mean, Ive been to Target stores before, even in small towns, and they didnt look as poor as this store. This should be a joke!! Buy groceries from whole foods, quality is better, price is lower. almost no home-related stuff at this Target such as floor lamps, tables, etc. So disappointed. I waited so long for this to open to buy some home-improvement stuff and now, I came out with a toothpaste...

This isn’t a target so much as it’s a mini City Target and I love it for that. Order online and pick up is fantastic. I hope they’ll have a drive up option some day too. There’s just a little sampling of everything and it’s great. I can get Organic fruit, Organic milk perfect bars, pasta, laundry detergent, kids shampoo, diapers, mascara, cleaning supplies, and toys all at one store and it’s small enough it takes about 20 minutes.

I can’t figure this place out. Is it a badly stocked Target? Does it only exist to prepare us greenhorns for normal Target? There are some very sweet helpful women who work here but the male employees look really annoyed when asked questions. One thing I can say: it certainly is a singular experience.

I was surprised at how much they fit into such a small space! I actually like that its smaller. I can do a one-stop trip for home essentials and some groceries quickly and with ease. The prices are average but thats ok for the convenience. The location is very convenient for me, so thats a plus. If you want cheaper, go to Ross the next block over! Having a Target in SB is awesome.

I have enjoyed the opening of Target in this area and look forward to the one being built in Goleta. Target is good at maintaining a clean environment, providing the locals/visitors w/ great discounts, and being diverse by offering electronics, home & Garden, liquor, health & beauty, Toys and more. Parking can be a hustle at times

Fully staffed for terrible service in a time where service matters. Went to pick up an order and girl with tag Trainer was more consumed with fellow coworkers that the paying customer in front of her..me. Then after waiting for her didnt offer to ring the rest of my items. So had to go to the register line and then only to hear the customer in front of me also complain that he had several employees not only be unattentive but did not bother to excuse themselves when they moved passed him. This store isnt really serving anyone and not sure why Target still exists there. There are plenty of unemployed fully qualified customer service reps they can hire who will do the job right. Give them the job...I was picking up a treat for myself and left with such a poor experine experience. Thumbs down.

Although we’ve lived in Santa Barbara since 1971 I’ve never had such rude treatment here as today. I had arrived at the store at 7am and found they opened at 8am.i had walked from our home in San roque and walked a bit and waited outside standing on x since 7:30. At least 20 people arrived, all seeing me.no signs stating which side or front to wait. When they opened door after 8 very rude employee said go behind everyone else. I’m in my 70s and I said I’ve been here since 7. He turned started conversation with others and ignored me.no response. Sad that in this time no respect or concern was shown. Thankfully we always shop at other stores that train their employees with the importance of making their customers feel appreciated

Love having the choices in groceries here. And it’s so fun to come shop for little things whenever I want without having to drive to Ventura. Prefer here when I need just a few items in grocery too. Same or cheaper than Vons.

Not too bad for a tiny store. A little bit of everything from every department of the bigger size Target stores. But way too many empty shelves and product not in stock, plus the parking is very limited.

Da
Review №26

Definitely a concept Target, each department is about 1/8th the size it would be in another Target ... Including the parking... But they seemed to hone in on the important things within those departments! I agree ocerywith most reviewers, the grocery section is large so if you need and alternative grocery store but whole foods is right across the street.... In any case I found what I was looking for and as usual.. left with things I wasnt necessarily looking for!

I was SOOOO excited to learn that Target was coming to SB---it was sorely needed and this one is FINE but thats about it. Its a tease of a store. I think having food and liquor is a waste of space. Yes, the one stop shopping is convenient, but the main attraction to me and most Target shoppers is the other stuff: clothes, shoes, home goods, etc. I can get food/booze at a dozen other stores w/in a mile radius--why not give consumers the products that make Target TARGET?? My excitement has now shifted to the eventual opening of Target in Goleta, hopefully before xmas if they get their act together!

Review №32

This is the worst Target. Ive always been a fan of Target, but this location is so small, the aisles are cramped, the selection is limited, and parking sucks. Its honestly not what you think of when you think of a Target with ample size departments, spacious aisles and a lovely browsing/impulse purchase experience. It makes me like Target less due to their obviously poor understanding of what consumers like about their brand. Also, they arent participating in the car seat trade in event but theres no way to know that until you lug an old, heavy carseat in. I was so excited for this store, and its very disappointing.

So glad we finally have a Target! I was surprised that it was able to hold as much as it does, considering its small footprint. The hours are great too. Too bad they couldnt have used the old Sears building, but that didnt come available in time. The aisles are so narrow 2 carts cant pass each other, and clothing is very minimal, except for kids stuff maybe. But other departments are more complete. When they come to the old KMart location in Goleta, Im sure itll be better. Parking can be challenging, so you have to be patient and wait, or park by Macys and walk from there.
