If youve been a longtime patron and havent been in a couple of years and are trying to sneak in just before closing, theyve moved! They are now directly on State Street and not down the little alley. Still the best chocolates Ive ever had. I tried the Fish tonight and it was peanut butter chocolate perfection. ❤️
In the current circumstances, I am glad this little shop was open. Unfortunately, the person handling our order didnt listen. I mentioned from the very beginning that the passion fruit caramel was the most important and my very favorite, yet none were in a box of a dozen we purchased. We drove nearly a hundred miles to be able to visit and I havent been able to have passion fruit white chocolate anywhere besides New Zealand. We ate a couple pieces in the box but I felt I couldnt get past the disappointment to enjoy the chocolates. It felt that a hundred miles and much anticipation were wasted.
Chocolate was very good, but the person who Im guessing was in charge seemed to be bullying her co-workers and it was very unsettling. I wont be coming back unless she learns some sort of manners. I feel really bad for the workers 😔
Nice little gourmet Chocolate Shop on State Street. Whenever I want a special chocolate treat this is my goto place. They have a nice selection of fresh handmade delicious and exotic chocolates. I tried most of them and all have been wonderful. They offer gift boxes and custom boxes and they have a gelato counter. The staff is friendly and helpful and the shop is a feast for your eyes and stomach. The pricing is not cheap but you get what you pay for. Check out this great little shop.
Visited this cute little chocolate shop on State street, Santa Barbara and so so Glad I did! I got a custom box of 12 chocolates, all made by hand by these amazing chocolatiers. They have a wonderful diversity of chocolates and they are all so delectable! Great for a post dinner dessert option to share with friends, family, or more intimate occasions.
Absolutely wonderful!!! They are divine!! Grabbing a treat here whenever I visit SB is a must.
Artisan chocolates aside, we stop in for the gelato--which is invariably excellent (Im a fan of the lemon and of the pistachio). The decor is comfortable and welcoming, and the staff attentive and friendly. Its a great place to grab a treat while visiting State Street.
Very tasty ice cream and cute location
Amazing atmosphere! And great quality desserts!
Their chocolate will ruin chocolate from any other place for the rest of you life. But it is so worth it! My favorite seems to change every time I go in there. The staff is so helpful and friendly and will put together any sort of combination you would like.
Wonderful staff introduces you to locally made artisan chocolates. Fantastic tastes & shapes that are packed in lovely little boxes. They also have Gellato & a cute dinning area.
Great selection very friendly.
My wife and I stopped in on one of our many walks downtown. We purchased one piece each and the chocolate was excellent. However, what made the experience exceptional was the service we recieved! A must for anyone in the area!
Service was great. Alisha helped me pick out the type of chocolate I was looking for. Will definitely return.
Fancy, welcoming and very clean. The desserts are delicious!
Excellent chocolate...friendly staff.
Delicious hot chocolate, something hard to find here in the US.
Chocolate store with beautiful setting up
Exceptionally unique tastes that literally dance on your tongue! A must visit or order products online.
Amazing and delicious. We are lucky to have this treasure here..
Our cruise ship docked around 8a and we got off shortly thereafter. So we were exploring town decently early. Id passed this place before it was open and knew I had to come back. So after visiting the courthouse and getting some great pictures, we came back. They had quite a long case full of many different choices of truffles and bon-bons. Not to mention shelves upon shelves of pre-packaged goodies. I opted for just these two...Sichuan Pepper/Orange Truffle - This truffle! Oh my goodness! I love the combination of dark chocolate and orange. But I have found that most of the time its alcoholic which just isnt the flavor profile Im looking for. Not only was this one not alcoholic, it was amazing! The flavor was rich and very satisfying. And it had obviously been rolled in some kind of orange crumb that added a nice bit of texture. This is definitely one of better truffles Ive ever found.Fish - A dark chocolate ganache made with old fashioned peanut butter in a dark chocolate. For me, peanut butter is a go-to. This one was nicely done and quite enjoyable. While paying at the register, I was offered a sample of a Strawberry caramel. Wow! Another impressive treat! This was a very tender and not overly chewy caramel - almost the texture of a Ganache! It had a nice balance of sweet caramel to tangy strawberry. I was told that these are only sold by the bag and she pointed out where they were on the shelf. It was really hard to leave without buying one! But it seems a silly thing to do considering the cruise buffet I would return to that evening. If I get back to Santa Barbara, I will most certainly visit here again! And hopefully those sod caramels and that orange truffle are still around!
Wonderful oils, and wonderful chocolates!
😋 excellent and great service
Very good banana and dulce de leche gelato, I have not seen it in US.
