John runs a great shop! If you need any games of the sort hes your place to go. Has chess, backgammon, darts, fuseball, ping pong, card tables, chips, cards, pool tables... whole 9. Johns very knowledgeable and on point. And a Vietnam vet !I highly recommend this 30 year old establishment. Very reasonable prices. Support localTip : Just call ahead of time and before 1 pm so he knows he has customers coming in so he wont close early! He usually closes at 2pm or little before... so if he doesnt answer just ring again until he does, hes a one man army so hes most likely helping another customer at the other end of the shop.
John (owner/operator) at Mission Pool Tables in Santa Barbara does NOT honor his word, nor stand behind the products he sells! BUYERS BEWARE!
Great prices. Knowledgeable. Exemplifies why buying local still makes sense. Brick and Mortar at its best.
The APA formed a new Central Coast league recently; which Im a member of but do not represent. When I asked where I could find a nice cue, this place was mentioned multiple times. Today I left work early (Vandenberg) to go buy a McDermott G413 or equivalent, and the place was closed at 4:35PM! I knocked and called the phone number on the Closed sign. As a result of wasting my time and money Ill order my new cue online and will recommend not shopping here to anyone and everyone.
John is very knowledgeable. Great spot.
You can not count on the hours he posts. The store is mainly open in the morning and if you are lucky open in the afternoon.
John knows every thing about pool.
