This is a great local store for sewing machines, notions, and fabrics. Im really happy they expanded their fabric offerings. They have a good selection of quilting fabric and batiks (my personal favorite). I bought a sewing machine from them 30 years ago and Im still happily using it to make quilts. They recently tuned it up for me. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly

I just bought a Brother Pacesetter sewing machine. Matt sat down with me for an hour explaining its features and I was able to create a variety of stitch patterns. I would definitely recommend Grant House Sewing, they care about their customers and stand by their products.

Very nice and incredibly helpful! Called about a lost power cord for an older machine and they helped me figure out what I was looking for, then searched for one and held it for me. Also have a great selection of fabrics, notions and tools.

Grant is the best! I was able to get an old industrial machine from a company i used to work at even though i live in phoenix. He made quick work the last few days to ensure it was ready for me to pick up today. He showed me a few tips and tricks, as he always does, and was just the most helpful.

Grant took the time to completely explain the machine that we purchased and even gave a sewing lesson. He is incredibly patient and nice and understood our budget constraints. We are lucky to have a shop like this in Santa Barbara.

Great local shop to get sewing machines fixed and supplies.

They have an awesome selection of thread colors, sewing machine supplies, sewing tools and supplies, and they even have a decent amount of fabric! The woman at the counter said they are expanding and even starting sewing classes in January. SOOO happy to have found this place for when I need something last minute!
