Ive had my FluidStance The Level deck in the walnut finish for about a month now and am absolutely LOVING this thing. It pairs perfectly with my standing desk converter and offers just the right *balance* of mobility and stability when youre standing up to work. Im a designer and can often feel even stuck in a creative rut when Im trying to work out a problem while seated. Standing up and flexing out my feet and hips while standing on The Level is the perfect way to get the ideas flowing again. Not to mention this board is seriously a thing of beauty. Aesthetics are super important to me and the dark walnut finish with the silver aluminum bottom just looks so sleek. The quality is top notch – it feels like a sturdy, seriously crafted piece of art that you get to stand on all day. You can tell they invested a lot in this product and using it proves its worth the price tag.I work from a shared co-working space and several people on my floor have purchased this same deck after seeing mine in action. I got the Jade UpMat too, which adds a nice bit of cushion and its color goes really nicely with the walnut finish. As an otherwise active person who works at a desk all day and cares about the way things look, The Level board knocks aces every test with flying colors! Well done FluidStance!

Ive been standing at a series of desks for years. With the FluidStance I can stand longer and my joints ache less. Thats a win/win in my book. The FluidStance takes a bit of getting used to, but once I did, I love it.I never realized how much I adjusted my body as I was typing while standing. I only realized it once I stood on the Level. But it wasnt too long till I realized you can do the same thing on the Level. Ive gotten pretty good at moving around... side to side, front and back.On that note, it would be silly, but Id love to see some races... head to head: who can traverse 10 feet the fastest? If youre serious about standing you should try one of these.

Love my FluidStance! Absolute necessity for anyone with a standing desk...would highly recommend the upmat to go along with whatever deck you choose. The only thing as good as the product is their customer service. Much appreciated!

Ive had a stand up desk for a few years and love it, however I would catch myself locking out my knees. The FluidStance was a game changer for me. I no longer lock out my knees--a total plus--but its made working at my stand up desk a lot more fun. I wasnt expecting that.I recommend FluidStance for anyone who has a stand up desk or is considering it. Its a rare item that can increase productivity while giving you stronger abs and a tighter butt. SCORE!

Ive had my FluidStance for over a year now, and I love it. Its beautifully crafted, and seems like it will last a lifetime. I have a stand-up desk, and I use the FluidStance every morning while I check my email and have my morning coffee. I hope to get into the habit of using it even more, but I find that if I at least use it a bit each morning it helps get my concentration and energy level set right for a productive day.

Life changing for knowledge workers. Surf / skate while you work. Ability to go all day and switch from stable stances to dynamic stances. Do a conference call boneless or a PowerPoint magic slide. This will power up your standing desk and make you stop sitting!

The Level took the stand up desk from good to Awesome overnight. I have not sat down at my desk in at least 6 months and every conference call is more enjoyable now with the The Level. It has revolutionized my office days!

Id considered a standing desk for some time, but when I first saw the FluidStance, I knew that was the timing point. It wasnt just the upright that appealed to me, but the movement. I always figured that if I was at a standing desk, Id just end up wanting to pace. Most people see my board and assume its wobbly like a balance board. But the motion is far more subtle. Most of the day, I dont even think about being on it. What I do notice is how much more I twist and move my joints. The most subtle change comes when getting off the board after a full day and you notice a profound sense of improved balance. I suspect this is from the content triggering of proprioception muscles in the lower leg. What ever it is, from trail running to skiing, the result transfers directly into my sport life.

I am the Creative Director of a Marketing and Design studio, Treehouse Creations. Over the past 15 years I have typically spent about 8-10 hours per day in front of my computer. About 8 years ago, I splurged for a Herman Miller Aeron Stool. I spent over $1000. It is a special chair but a chair nonetheless. I have a taller desk and enjoy mixing it up by standing and sitting. But nothing really worked well for me. When I stood, my back hurt and when I sat my legs and hips tightened up.I heard about FluidStance and the Level and was eager to try it out. The price point was great especially seeing what I spent on my Aeron.I received it this past summer. The transition to balancing and working with my keyboard and mouse was a nonevent. I was curious how long I could actually stand at one time. The first day I spent about 3/4 the day on the Level and the rest of the day in my chair. That was the last time I actually spent in my work chair.Im not saying that I dont sit. Of course I do. But my point is that when I am working and on the Level, I dont notice the time and my body feels good after the work day is over. Its been about 6-7 months and when I am working on my desk I am on the Level. I have also taken it to the local coffee shop while I work on my laptop. People ask what it is and Im happy to let them try it.As far as craftsmanship goes. It is solid and it looks great. I will say that my work station is on a carpet. I didnt know what the Level would do to the carpet so I went to my local lumber yard and grabbed a flat piece of wood to place the Level on. It works perfectly.I like to stand and move and this works for me. Thanks.

I discovered the original IndieGoGo (I think it was IndieGoGo) campaign in early 2015 when I was hunting for ergonomic equipment. Id used other balance boards before, but there was no way to work and attempt to wobble at the same time.I showed the campaign to a co-worker of mine who wound up buying one of the last runs from the campaign before they were being sold via the FluidStance website. I got to try out my co-workers board and boy it was as awesome as I hoped it would be. I had recently spent about 1/3 of the cost of one on a Steppie balance board and was supremely disappointed. It just rocked back and forth a bit. I immediately returned it and bought a Level Board. I havent looked back since.I use it every day at work, and some days I dont even realize Ive been standing all day. Two other co-workers have bought them as well. I pimp it out to anyone and everyone as a must have for a standing desk. I am interested in tread desks, but because I am freelance with no permanent office, its not feasible. The Level is just right because I can take it anywhere.I insist on standing desks now because Ive dealt with herniated discs in my back for years and Im tired of the crappy set ups Im forced into. Standing with the Level has kept my back from going out and kept it relatively happy. Movement is key! Standing in one place is just as bad as sitting in one place. You have to change it up and keep moving.Anyway - Im thrilled with the Level. When it gets dirty from my shoes, it wipes up and looks new. I have the Maple, but a couple co-workers (who make more than me haha) got the Bamboo. Both are beautiful and equal in function. The best part is, its tax deductible for me! Allows me to do my job more efficiently. Kudos FluidStance!
