Wow, if you want anything related to clay, this is the place. Went to pick up some clay for my mother and wow, this place has it all, didnt know such stores existed. Many types of clays, finishes, tools, decorator items, potting wheels and more. The entire store is dedicated to just the art of potting clay, theyll even fire your creation for you. Their staff were helpful, friendly, answered all my questions about which of the 75 types of clay I should buy, overall a great experience. Highly recommend.

Staff is extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and patient. Great deals, too. Waloed out with 200$ worth of glazes for 60$!

Hey, I looked online to see your hours and it said open until 3. Thanks a lot for I drove an hour to get to your establishment only to find you closed. How hard is it if you’re closing to let the public know? Oh wait, that’s right, I forgot, your time is more precious than mine. My bad.

While I cant speak to the in-person shopping experience, ordering online was a very simple process. One item of mine was backordered, and staff were communicative as far as why my order hadnt shipped, kept me posted on the ETA of their shipment, and notified me when the shipment arrived (and that my order would be shipping out the next day). In a time where most online retailers are swamped and unable to return calls and emails in a timely manner, Clay Planet remained engaged throughout the buying process.

I purchase supplies and use their firing services. The people here are so nice! The smooth red clay they have is great for throwing, not as groggy as others, try it out : )

As a novice working with clay, I went in to Clay Planet not knowing exactly what I needed. The man (Im so sorry I cant remember your name :( ) was amazing! He took the time to explain all about which clay is popular for beginners - and why - and which glazes I could use on greenware. Im really enjoying making ceramics and will definitely be back again. They have everything you could possibly need to work in ceramics including a knowledgeable staff.

I love this place. Dont agree with the post that they need to improve customer service. They dont bother you while you shop so if you need assistance there is always someone there to assist. Love the variety of items that they sell, and if they dont have it, they will order it for you. Great place!!

This place is great! They have great customer services, very friendly and knowledgable staff, and have always been helpful in answering my questions. One thing I love is that they do firing services! They also have a great selection of clay and glazes. Highly recommended for anyone in the Bay area.

I drive from fresno to buy my clay here, Ive always had amazing service! Two years ago my wheel broke and I was able to fix it based on their advice. I do shop at another clay store in fresno when I have to, but I always stop at clay planet when Im in town. Ask them anything they are suuuuuper knowledgeable!
