Best Indian grocery shopping . My friend suggested me this place and I found it very fresh and has more variety from other Indian grocery shop in Sunnyvale or Santa Clara . This place has more snacks that I loved the most. I really recommend once hope you guys like the place like I do ππ»
Amazing Indian grocery shop with fresh vegetables and lots of Gujarati items..
Everything you find is good here but they dont have more options in deep food products
Veggies here are not that fresh, but groceries are cheaper than New India Bazaar. I did see $2 difference on wheat flour and $1 difference on Organic hand pounded sona masoori rice. The snack collection is good and they taste good too.
I found this store a while back and now a loyal customer.. Fresh cheap vegetables, amazing spices and tons of rice selection. Its a smaller size store which I like.. Each time I go there I get greeted with smiles.I like it so would you...
Good store for Indian grocery. They have some really good mangoes, not Indian mangoes but Mexican, which I did not find in any other grocery store.
Great collection. The place can get crowded often though.
Nothing compared to Atlanta Patel Brothers. Very disappointing for someone visiting from out of state. Quality, variety was not as expected unfortunately. I made my daughter and son in law detour about 25 miles just to go there but was myself highly disappointed. They live on Emeryville and clearly has stores nearby that can suffice their needs.
Very well managed outlet and helpful staff. If you are a rice eater, you will find multiple varieties of rice at this outlet. The shop is well stocked with Indian Food, masalas and pickles. Besides, Indian, you can also find items from Bangladesh, Pakistan and Sri Lanka. They also have vegetables that are particularly grown in the South Asian subcontinent.
The best place to get fresh indian veggies.
The store is not too big, and not too well maintained either(was not perfectly clean) but I was able to get most of the things I needed from an Indian store.
Pretty small but you can get good stuff for good price.
Quality products, fresh produce and usually well stocked. The place is reasonably clean and well organized. At peak times the place is real busy but does move. Best if they can limit of folks in the store or have one way lanes. The alises are narrow and single cart can a traffic jam. I go as it is one stop shopping but sometime dread the shopping experience.
When we went the vegetables were fresh and cleanly organized.
Conveniently located and offers a wide variety of Indian groceries and vegetables. The aisles are very narrow and floors littered. It has become hazardous in COVID times since social distancing is not possible or enforced. Other Indian grocery stores have adapted much better to ensure customer safety.
Not the same quality as the stores in new jersey. Much more limited selections for fresh and
We had bad experience for the wrong billing, meera shampoo we bought small, they billed big one $6.99 instead $3.99.
2 stars less for the most rude manager or owner lady. She has no sense at all of customer service. I would never go to that store if I get all of the veggies at next door store. They should improve the customer service.
Excellent variety of Indian food items and very polite staff. It also has indian utensils. However, it isnt as big as the New Jersey Patel bothers.
The store is very well organized and doesnt look cluttered. It has great collection of Indian snacks and spices. They also have locally made indian snacks with a huge variety and great prices.
As a native east coaster, all I can say is its a Patel Brothers on the west coast, woot Woot! Has everything you need, its a tad bit tight and during covid thats concerning. The prices are good too
You find different groceries that you dont see in India cash and carry or new india bazzar
Good variety of fresh vegetables, condiments and variety of snacks and food items from all different states and their cuisines.Very helpful in finding the items that you know they have but. Can not find
Great store. Nice collection and choices on India Grocery. Premium quality items and lots of indian options specific to Maharastra, Gujarathi and north indian food items.
Very nice place for Indian groceries and vegetables. Also the place has nice addictive Gujrathi snack items
I love this place. They are all possible things available like dry date powder, kokum etc..they have best produce but I would suggest to avoid going on Mondays as not all things are loaded on aisles
Good Indian store to do your shopping at. They also carry some Fijian products.
Very shady neighbourhood. You probably get all indian stuff here. Vegetables are not so fresh.
Even though this store has good variety of Indian snacks and spices. It sells food packets without expiration/manufacturing date. In fact the manufacturing date was hidden behind a sticker.
Small space, nice place to get groceries. Becomes worst plave to go if its a busy day like in diwali time. π
Very friendly staff.good environment.Fresh veggies.worth the money.
Not the best looking store but very good price for what is available
Hi! I gave a Four Star Rating.Your store is good. I am looking at being very good & hence looking at the scope of the improvements gave One Star less. A lot can be done on keeping the products more organized & neatly. Also more movement space may be provided. Currently (most of the) aisles do not support for more than one person to pass by.Shall be glad to post updates as and when I do see the changes.Kindly do note that my reviews are based on my experience at other similar stores within your region.
This is a reliable chain for Indian groceries all across US. This is place is really good for most of the Indian spices and other ingredients.I am cutting down a star for vegetables as i have seen they might not have fresh vegetables everyday. Having said that this has cheaper vegetables then the American counter parts.Another plus for this is that it has lots of parking.
Nice and tidy. Well lit atmosphere, no dim lighting like other Indian grocery store( India cash and carry). Its spacious and well organized with price labels. Ample parking space. Prices are very affordable when I went to shopping today and good produce.
Must visit place for any indian.
Good options but place is very small and always crowded
Poorly managed store. Very bad in last few months .Should be more organized clean given the COVID19 situation.
Nice Indian grocery store but little pricey! Most of the items do not have price tags on them. Staff is lazy and unpleasant at times. They should have a control on the crowd going into the store during the pandemic and also not to forget that price gouging at time of Covid is a shameful act!
Patel Brothers is a good grocery store and carries lot of regional (Indian state specific) items. There are plenty of grocery stores in the bay area and all sale same items at similar prices. In such a market Patel Brothers distinguishes itself with their unique shelf items and a clean store. One recommendation ; they do not have customer loyalty program and should probably add that.
Its a pretty good store. Can find different masalas of various companies. I mean the option are more.
The worst part about the store is the lady that seems to be running things. She does not wear her mask properly endangering everyone who walks in to the store. And the same goes for some of the employees there as well.Cant stress how unhygienic the place is. The workers are always running around doing chores without keeping things clean.
Relatively well stocked and clean when compared to other Indian grocery stores.
This was my first visit, I liked the customer service and the great selection of items.
Nice place to get Indian things
Update: Taking two stars off since they seem to have lost the level of cleanliness they would maintain earlier. Especially in this time of pandemic itβs off putting to be purchasing food from unclean places.ββββββββββI always go here for fresh vegetables and a comprehensive selection of Indian snacks! Itβs relatively cleaner than other Indian stores in the area.
Organized very well in compartments.
The store has variety of grocery items including fruits and vegetables.
Good store for Indian Grocery & Vegitable.
Pros:- Expansive selection- relatively clean and well maintained- decent availability even during COVID- usually have some fresh prepared snacks and food items like paratha, roti, thepla, etc.- Helpful staffCons:- fresh produce is a bit hit and miss; sometimes its fresh, other times its not
Lovely folks at the store. Extremely helpful too :)
Always crowded, friendly staff, stuff is fresh most of the times.
Ill defintely give 5 stars to this place because of its quality products. The time when I first visited here this place is my favourite for any king of grocery shopping. The staff was very accommodating here and the owners and managers was also very helpful.
Always a pleasant experience shopping here. Try to avoid peak times such as evenings and weekends because it gets very crowded and you can guess what happens next. They carry almost everything you need from an Indian store and this is our go to store for all desi stuff.
This place for me has its is and downs. Its located in a good area with lots of parking space unlike other Indian grocery shops. You find practically everything that you are looking for. If you are looking for something and cant find it, ask the staff and they will help you find it.The place at times can feel like a mad house. There are times when the place is full, it makes it maddening to navigate the store. It makes you want to get out of there.Other than that its a good place to shop
Fresh vegetables and fruits and a whole variety of other Indian stuff that I donβt usually see in other Indian grocery stores around. However I moved from Chicago and the Patel brothers there also had a live deli/bakery in the back of the store that served fresh hot chapatis and breads. I would love to see that in this store as well. Also, a live counter to sell pickles and chutneys would be great too.
Went for Diwali Sale shopping .. Great Offers
Limited selection of Indian grocery items some known products are missing. They carry all fresh produce and prices are reasonable.
Fresh vegetables, good variety of Indian grocery and kind staff.I think store would do with better floor cleaning practices.
Last weekend we had been to Patel Brothers Indian grocery store and we loved this place. Especially their raw coconuts which we get in India (They cut the top and give us and its so easy to put a straw in it and drink. Very refreshing). And we also loved the display of Indian style snacks in their store entrance they are fresh and spicy :).Their vegetables are fresh and they have good collection of Indian veggies. We will go there more often now :)
Best place to go for Indian groceries. Vegetables are fresh and all other Indian items are available.
They increased their prices when COVID started, its nothing else but shameless price gouging... I am ordering via avocado app and pricesfor some basic items like toor dal for example is 1.5X of what they use to charge before COVID ...
Great place for Indian grocery. Pretty well organized. Sometimes, they bill same items double or additional items. Has happened twice and had to get it fixed and took like 15 min to get it fixed once.
Indian grocery store. Fresh Indian snacks available
This is ridiculous, they price gauged so much since Covid started. Unfortunately I dont have old receipts from them to put a formal complaint. I hope they read about Apna Bazaar getting caught in Pleasonton for same and will take lesson from that.
Bad customer service, also they sell expired stuff .
Very nicely organized veggies and varieties of snack
Huge inventory of Indian groceries items. Some items are pricey when compared to other Indian groceries stores
Nicely organized store, good varieties.
Fresh snacks is very good.
We are able to get wide variety of products which are not available in other Indian grocery stores in Bay area. Customer service is also too good. Whenever we are struck to find any product, they were helping quickly.
Excellent customer service and relatively fast checkout lanes. The only issue is the traffic to and fro from the store is too hectic. Also the roads are way too small for the volume of traffic
A real Indian market. Very well stocked. Very busy and popular. Big selection of Indian snacks. Good selection of fresh produce.
This is a good Indian / Pakistani grocery store. I always buy stuff from here. The staff is very helpful and friendly. Prices are either the same or at times cheaper than other grocery shops around.I would definitely recommend this to those who are looking for an South Asian Grocery store.
Reasonably priced products. You get some of the Indian vegetables here. We found good mix of indian frozen vegetables here. Overall very satisfying experience and would love to visit again and again.
Good place to get Indian grocery and vegetables
Good Indian stuff, fresh vegetables. Good return policy as well.
Vegetables are freshest, crowded and packed always, nice customer service. Utensils, grocery, etc are great in variety
This is India grocery store and speciality is in Gujarati ingredients. Recently they reduced depth of cabinet. Very good idea. Deep cabinet caused deep portion remain in touched and narrow isle space. Not anymore... And price is competitive too...
Nice and cozy Indian store...but the New India Bazaar next door is much better stocked with better prices.
We go for Patel brother for vegetables prices are good and best location for indian for there home groceries and staff is very helpful
One of the cleanest and well organized Indian grocery stores around.
Wonderful place to buy Indian groceries. It was on the strategic location on the El-Camino Real. Awesome store.
Good place for spices...
One of the less crowded Indian grocery stores in this area.
I felt that the vegetables are not fresh. Except that everything else is good.
Awesome corner of San Diego - neat speciality products to inspire lots of cooking. Come explore!
Lot of variety, but cramped alleys- dont go during Covid-19.Got an idli stand, bad quality though they agreed to replace.
Very well stocked and organized Indian grocery store. Fresh vegetables and lot of regional varieties. Lines are not crazy like some other ones in neighborhood.
