Bay lighting supply is the kind of place you can drive by for years and not really notice its there. However, when it comes to knowledgeable people, helpful advice, and the parts you need I doubt there is a better place to go. Sure the big box guys have lots to choose from, but If its not this seasons trend, good luck. I needed an small $4.00 bulb adapter that absolutely was not anywhere else. Called David, told him what I needed, got a quote and 10 minutes later picked up my part. The two places on line I found it wanted 10 bucks to ship it, and 10 days ARO. Next to Jack in the box on el Camino real in Santa Clara. Park around the corner, they only have a couple of parking places.

I was in dire need of a specific bulb that no one stocks. While other stores said, not until next week, Id have to order one for you, I would have to drive to Hayward to get it, so not today. They wanted 2-3 times the cost. David of Bay Lightning Supply, said, give me a minute to see what I can do. in less that 4 minutes he found the bulb and set up a pick up for me so I can have the church parking lot lit up again and safe. A great Thank You to David @ Bay Lighting Supply. At a cost of half the other stores wanted.

Great selection of hard to find bulbs and very knowledgeable on connection types, limitations and where best applicable.Way better selection then Home Depot or Lowes.

My house was built with some ceiling lights that take weird bulbs. Most lighting stores dont carry the bulbs. Bay Lighting is one of the few places that do. If they dont have them in stock and I ask, they will order extras in their next regular shipment and set them aside for me so it isnt a custom order and I dont pay shipping. The only other place that carries my bulb charges 10% more and its a knockoff brand, not from the original manufacturer like Bay Lightings bulbs are.

I have been coming here for years for ally specialty lighting needs. This is not a show room like some other lighting stores, but unlike those stores, the guy who helps you (the owner) really knows lighting products.

Needed a 12V 300W transformer ASAP and they were the only local store that carried stock. An assistant at Home Depot recommended I tried here and they were right.

The guys are the most knowledgeable I have dealt with and friendly. Prices are fair too.
