Had first and the worst luxury brand service experience.Amazing perfume, Neroli, wasn’t available in the store but associate ordered it to be available for in store pick up on 12/27/018. I arrived excited in the morning of 27th but perfume wasn’t there yet. I asked when and associate told it would be possibly later in the day. Why wouldn’t associate text or call day before to let client know expected arrival to avoid confusion? Another preventive measure is to tell client to pick it up on 28th. Couple of hours after, associate called asking to pick it up. I did not plan to visit the mall again that year that’s why I had to come back through horrible traffic and cancel my other activities. I filed complaint on website and store manager called me to ‘apologize’ again the next day. She repeated the same irrelevant thing, holiday season causing delays, while I pointed to the problem in communication. I asked if they can compensate my time and she said that Bottega Veneta does not compensate. Isn’t the store manager a face of the brand?

I bought an expensive handbag from Santa Clara store. The store manager told me these bags were rare and there were only 5 in the US. When I got home, I determined it was to big for my frame and asked to return it. I was told that there are no returns only exchanges for store credit when you purchase in store. If you purchase online, you can return. I already had 2 other Bottega bags so I did not need anything else and I was not going to give them anymore money if the exchange was uneven. Needless to say, this rare bag was in abundent supply in all Bottega boutiques in USA plus in Neiman, Saks, Bergdorffs etc and the rare Large City Veneta intrecciato tote in BACCARA ROSE NERO was 20% off in the boutiques and now 30% off online and major retailers. The bag sits in my closet in its original dust cover, I cant even bear to look at it let alone carry it. So basically, Bye Bye Bottega for me. Watch out at the Santa Clara store.
