I been Mikes tires customer for over 15 years, now not anymore. Zero issues with the original owner. Since this place was sold the quality of the service has significantly dropped. After having repeated problems with 2 cars with them at least 3 times each, enough is enough. Yesterday I requested their service because the dashboard was indicating that one of my tires was getting flat. Today I waked up ready to go to work, I was unable to do it. Look at the picture. Thats is not a good service at all. Bye bye!!!

We have been taking our cars to Mikes Tires for about 15 years. In the last couple of years there was a change of ownership, it is now Mike and Nicks tires. The young men who run the business now are very customer service oriented with Great fallow through. Inside the area is very clean and uncluttered making it very comfortable if you need to wait for your car while its being serviced. I feel very confident in taking our cars there even over the dealership, the prices are great and the work is quality. You can find great deals on everything from oil changes to other auto repairs and routine maintenance. I always recommend Mike and Nicks tires to friends and family. They are definitely a plus to the Canyon Country community.

I’m intimidated with auto shops but Nick is always pleasant and easy to deal with. I also like how the mechanics seem to enjoy working there as well. They are a full auto shop, not just tires! I’m so glad they are right around the corner from me. Thank you guys for your hard work!

Sloppy workmanship. I had the front end redone and aligned for $1000+ and decided to do my oil change only to find the skid plate was put on without the original bolts minus two bolts. Then as Im cleaning up I noticed the sway bar was not even connected back up. I wont go back.

Update;Found out my tires were not rotated as the receipt stated. I had a blow out on one of my tires the week before so I had to get a new tire. I had a flat on a different tire, that led me to find the new tire in the same location as it was before the service. Also due to the flat tire last week I found out my tires were improperly inflated as vehicle specifications are different from what is going on the receipt.Short Story;Unprofessional workers, possible attempt to over charge for service, greasy steering wheel and drivers door, 5 - 10min check out turned into 30 - 45 mins due to not completing requested services.Long story;I usually have really good service, but today was not the usual. I have a company vehicle that is serviced here regularly. Today they forgot to replace the windshield wipers I had asked the to do. When I went to pay for the service I noticed the price was just for the oil change and not the wipers as well.I brought up the wipers and they said they would take care of it really quick. Almost 30mins later I was able to check out. The price jumped from about $70 to $133 and some change. After I said something about the price it was lowered to $111. They went next door to NAPA picked them up and added almost 30% for a surcharge. If they would have let me know they didnt have them I would have replaced them myself.After paying for the service I asked for the keys and was told the keys were in the vehicle (really dont like the thought they may be doing this). I walked to the vehicle to find out it was locked and had to walk back to get the keys.When I started the vehicle the radio had been changed and the steering wheel was greasy. When I got to my next stop I noticed greasy hand prints on the drivers door. Very unprofessional, Ill be looking for a new place to take our vehicles.

EXCELLENT SERVICE !!!!!!!I was on a very tight schedule on Friday starting at 6am and had to make my last stop by 5 pm in Torrance CA, ( hour and half away )I noticed a had a flat on a super single ....With only 45 minutes to play with in my schedule for the day, I was referred toMIKE and Nicks, I explained my situation they said they would do their best to get out to me and get me on my way ... they were there in 15 minutes and dismounted fixed and remounted in another 15 ..( I felt like I had my own pit crew 👍 ) off the jack and on my way .... I made it to my last stop to pick up from withbless than 3 minutes to spare.... they saved me from having to wait from Friday til Monday morning to pick up the 2 vehicles ...YOUR TIRE MECHANIC ROCKED IT !!!!

Ive been coming here for many years. Its been under new ownership and am so pleased with the improvements. The service and value has not changed, its even better. They are super busy but plays great music and has comfortable seating so you really dont mind the wait. We bring our trucks here all the time, including the diesel.

Great service. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. How I ended up here is a story worth noting.I was referred here by a guy from Big O tires. I first went to America tires off newhall and bouquet canyon because it was closest to me when I discovered I had a nail in my tire. They said they were too busy and I had to wait at least 3 hrs to be seen, Next! I drove to Big O tires off Valencia Blvd and I ask if they could repair my tire and they said there machine was broken so they cant. So I ask for a referral. They recommend Mike and Nicks tire shop. But first I called to make sure since I had no luck just driving up. They answered right away and said yes and to come on by. Soon as I pulled up they ask me to pull in and ask whats the problem. I told them I had nail in my tire. Right away looked and starting working on it. Walk into the main office and waited for about 10 min and done. $20 later not a bad deal considering time wasted and not needing a new tire. Will be my go to place for future service. Glad I found good auto shop.

I got my tire patch here for the first time. The guys were friendly no strees about upping any buy. Got in waited for a couple of cars ahead of me 40 minutes later and $20 less in my pocket. Stick a fork and Im done.

This was the first we have gone to Mike and Nick’s Tire. I guess they are under new management ... so super thumbs up to the new management, because service could not have been better. We have always gone to Costco Tire which has always been a nightmare. However, we should have left Costco, for Mike and Nick’s a long time ago! The guys at Mike and Nick’s we’re extremely nice and helpful. The tire installation didn’t take long, and was very affordable (ps better than Costco)

I had put off going in to fix a problem with my car because I thought it would be kind of pricey. I was met by Sean/Shawn (idk the spelling). He was so personable. I told him what my issue was. I asked him to fix it if it was possible...I didnt ask how much it would cost as I had saved up an amount I thought it would be. When, after a short time, I was given my bill I was shocked!! It was about 10% of what I had feared. Such an honest and friendly store. I sure wont be afraid to go in to fix my car in the future.

HONESTY IS STILL ALIVEBrought my vehicle for a check-up due to squeaking when brakes is applied. Prior to that I had it checked by a different shop but I became skeptical when they also want the rotors replaced. Pulled it out and brought it to Mike & Nicks and according to Chris, theres still enough life on the pads. No need to have it replaced. I am so grateful and appreciative of their honesty. Brought my car in to get tires and check my brakes. I asked about any special deals on tires. I thought it would be a low end grade. Based on what I got. It was a mid grade at 65k miles at a great deal for 4 tires. I Was informed about my breaks, I added the wipers also. Their brakes consisted of cutting down the rotors, replacing the pads, adding brake fluid and test driving car to make sure brakes were in good working order. Less that I thought I would pay for everything.

I went there for a front end alignment on my car a year ago i replace the upper and lower control arm bushings and lower ball joint and upper ball joints on both sides all my parts are moog of including the idler arm and pitman arm supposely my parts worn out LABOR PRICE 605 DOLLARS PARTS 670 DOLLARS THE TECH RAIASED MY CAR HE PUT A PIPE UNDER MY FRONT TIRES HE SAID I HAD A PROBLEM BECAUSE IT WAS GOING UP AND DOWN WITH THE PIPE ALL CAR SUSPENSIONS GO UP DOWN THIS PLACE IS A RIPOFF AVOID THEM I WENT TO FIRESTONE THEY DID THE ALIGNMENT WITHOUT REPLACING ANY PARTS ON SIERRA HWY

Tried to call and get quote to give them some business and they were very rude over the phone.You might be able to make a few sales, but you can kiss long term clients good by with that attitude.

Some of the changes are good, others not so much. Had someone walk in on me when I was trying to use the restroom, twice, on the same day. I was waiting a good while but its understandable because they are pretty busy. Besides the issue with the bathroom, its ok here.

I got used tires put on about a couple weeks ago but I realized afterwards that my lock nut for my wheel was missing. Although they couldn’t find it, they were able to help me get tires fixed and able to be taken off again! Nick at the front desk was a huge help and very patient.

I took in a tire from my trailer to get a slow leak fixed. I dropped it off and went and had some lunch. Came back an hour later and it was fixed. $20.⁰⁰

This is the first auto shop I’ve ever felt compelled to leave a glowing review for in my life. We had had enough bad experiences with the old ownership at this location that we thought we wouldn’t be coming back - these new guys changed my mind completely! Now under new ownership, they were friendly, fast, courteous, and genuinely respectful and appreciative of our business. The inside is clean and comfortable, the guys at the desk are super friendly and extremely helpful, and they even made sure to ask if we had everything we could want while we waited. I’ve never seen an auto shop with employees who bothered to go out of their way to check if we wanted any coffee or if we were good with the channel the tv was on. I got a really fair deal from them and they never tried to sell me anything I didn’t need or try to take advantage of my lack of knowledge. Truly just a well-run business that most auto shops could learn from. Thanks again guys!

I always bring my car here because this is an honest place. There are no frills but I like that. They give honest and pretty exact estimates and my car is always done before the time expected. Usually I just show up and they always manage to fit me in. I have never had any complaints for here and will continue to be a loyal customer.

Nick runs the shop and every time i go there i get the best service on the planet. Theres no place like it and there staff is will trained and i would go there if you are needing ANYTHING done go there if you want the job done right and you cant beat there price anywhere except at there other shop in Santa Monica.

Service is great and on point. Just make sure to check your tires if you have nice after market valve caps. I went to get a flat fixed and left with 2 missing. They went the extra the mile to make sure this was corrected. Just for this I highly recommend them.

Ive been coming to Mike and Nick tires for some time now a their work is amazing the mechanic shop is great their prices are reasonable Mike and Nick are willing to work with you. Also Sean is a great employee that they have answers a lot of questions and is willing to help anything you need you would be wasting your time going to any other mechanic shop here in Canyon country .

Got here at 820am on sunday to have a single tire mounted and balanced on a spare. Waited over an hour and a half. I have worked in and around shops for over a decade. This is a 10 minute job max. When asked when it was going to be done nick rudely replied 30 more minutes. Mike tried to explain to me that it got lost in the shuffle. I watched multiple people pick up my wheels and tires and move them out of the way to mount and balance probably 8 other full sets of tires from customers that had arrived after me. I am less than impressed to say the least. The fact that they would act this way on a small job makes you wonder what they would do to you on a small job

Its my job

So very sad. Im 53 and I remember my father bringing me here as a boy when he got his tires. Sadly, things have recently gotten intolerably bad such that I cannot due business here, nor can I continue to recommend his shop to others. One more thing that used to be great but now sucks. Sigh.I appreciated Mike for his no-nonsense gruff attitude, telling it like it is. Its one thing to yell at someone who has made a mistake or not held true to their word, but lately he yells and hangs up on customers even while admitting its his fault.I can understand its a hard business and at 70 you would rather be fishing. I can understand it sucks to have family member (employee) with substance issues, or whatever leads them to make a mistake.I dont understand why I am to be yelled at and hung up on, twice, for expecting recovery from an employee mistake in a timely and graceful manner. When an owner admits a mistake has been made and promises to call me, I expect a call. Having to call back again, only to find a second mistake has been made, and then to be iterated rudely for caring that I still did not have the tire I ordered, is beyond reason.Mike, I hate to say it but maybe its time to sell/close and enjoy the rest of your life.Best of luck.

I had a commercial vehicle and needed a couple tires. I was driving through and a different tire place told me this guy would probably have what I needed and he did. I am not sure what peoples expectation is of a tire shop but I have yet to meet a mother that wish their child to become a mechanic at a tire shop. Mike worked his butt off as did the people that worked for him. His waiting room was stocked with water, apples and bananas. They were busy when I arrived and when I left. It did take time but I walked in and they had what I needed and charged a reasonable price for what I bought. I would absolutely go back. I would recommend this business to others. thanks Mike. Briefly dealing with Mike there are two things I understand about this tire shop. First, Mike knows his tires and offers them at a very competitive price. Secondly, he does not care about these reviews in the least. If you need tires at a good price, go there. If you are looking for outstanding customer service and a place you can write a positive review on, this is not the right tire shop for you.

Three hours to get a flat repair.then when they put the tire on my truck they forgot to put the valve stem in the tire. Two weeks earlier after waiting 2 1/2 hours to get an oil change I finally left. Totally miss managed. Find another tire store!

Mikes guys have rotated and kept all my sets of tires in tip top shape until I needed a new set andMike has always made certain that Im happy!Mikes prices are very fair, I just got my brakes repaired and I was happy about that, and now I just got my suspension repaired on my car and Im happier!! Mike has always been fair and accommodating. Sometimes he may be a little grumpy, but the work gets done very very well and good. Went there for tires....good; however, never experienced a business where the customer was disrespected by more than one employee. What happened to professionalism? After tires were installed, I asked for brakes in order to support their business further, and pricing was more expensive than next door. They could of made 1000$ but instead made 400 because they refused to negotiate on pricing. Went next door and gave them my business. Go next door to unique motorsport.

Mikes is sort of a fixture here in Canyon Country I am glad it is. Mike can be a little rough around the edges but dont let that fool you. Underneath it all there is a great man. We have been buying our tires from Mikes for as long as I have lived here. His prices are good, the service is excellent and fast. The garage is always working at a fevered pitch to get its customers back on the road in a hurry. Mike stands behind his products so you really cant go wrong, just be sure to keep your receipts in the glove box.Open seven days a week.

The light for the tires turned on. Fearful it was a flat, we went to get the pressure checked. They added air to the tire and helped fix the problem free of charge.
