I really loved the creamery, the ice cream was nicely done, good texture, not too sweet, was really well done. This was my first time here, I went for coconut and dark chocolate flavors, and both of them were amazing. I could sense the natural flavor of coconut just in every bite. Dark chocolate was smooth, delectable as well. The place has a nice vibe, the staff was very courteous. I would love to go back to try out the other flavors and as well these two again.

Great ice cream and service. When I asked for a clean scoop for my childs nut allergies, they offered to scoop from a fresh tub. And the bathroom was just cleaned too.

Great selection of unique flavors! I ended up getting the Maple Bacon flavor which was absolutely delicious and hit the spot. They do however offer samples as well which was nice since it was my first time there. All the flavors get made in house and tend to support a lot of local businesses which I thought was really cool! Definitely worth stopping by and they also have other dessert options like brownies, shakes, etc.

Sorbet and Ice Cream was ok. Not extraordinary.If you plan to go during peak times plan ahead because parking can be a challenge.

Cute place with great flavors! I loved the “know the source” board and especially appreciated knowing the brands of the chocolate. The waffle cone wedge was yummy and I really enjoyed the mint chip and the local strawberry (although the latter was a touch hard).

They have many delicious flavors and they even do affogatos and Ice cream shakes! I’m always down for getting some salted caramel ice cream because it is so good! Good combination of sweet and salty without being overbearingly of either

Very cozy and relaxed place. Smelled amazing and the ice cream was just as amazing. I’ve never heard of some of the flavors. The gal working the counter was very nice and chill. Even though there was a line, she handled it with confidence and calm. Definitely going back there.

Mission Hill Creamery’s use of locally sourced ingredients makes the most basic flavors into something incredibly special. Their salted caramel, vanilla bean, and the seasonal white nectarine flavors are some of my personal favorites. The cold brew float and affogato are both spectacular as well, they make for a great dessert if you’re a coffee after dinner kind of person!

Any day your guys ice cream is great and still is, the reason for the one star is lack off PPE for your employees during a pandemic. I mean come on, no gloves while you touch my waffle cone?

The perfect spot for a little getaway from the boardwalk and busy areas if you have kids who want ice cream, and you need a coffee to get you through a full day of activities. Delicious ice cream and better than average coffee with kind baristas on hand.

The girlfriend and I went in when we were walking by after the spa. First thing that caught my eye was a board that said know the source, which listed where the ingredients came from. Itd be nice to see more places do this. Then the service - the kids who work there were some of the nicest and friendliest Ive had in a while. We tried some (most? lol) of the flavors - most were good, or really good. We got the strawberry, because it had actual pieces of strawberry mashed into the cream. So.good! Probably also tasted better because we got it inside the waffle cone. The cone was done so fast, that we really wanted to get another, but decided against it (sugar, sigh).They serve pour over intelligentsia coffee. Always down for that.Oh and they gave us a small piece of the fresh waffle cone to taste. Totally recommend this place

This is the creamiest, most delicious ice cream around! Very unique flavors and the texture is perfection! Ingredients are organic and local when possible. The owner and all of the staff are extremely friendly and fun and service is exceptional!

Hands down, the best ice creamery in Santa Cruz. Interesting flavors that arent TOO out there, and excellent texture (Im looking at you, Penny). Great service and always super clean inside. There are other local ice cream shops, and while I like Mariannes and Polar Bear a lot, Mission Hill has won my ice cream loving heart.

Great, unique flavors, and good price for what you get! Between my husband and I, we tried the Elvis sundae, and the Black & Tan sundae, and my son had the dark chocolate and mango ice creams. All were delicious, and at a decent price. It does get a little busy and crowded, but they are pretty quick and friendly. Worth the wait, and just across the street from the quarter trolley stop. :DI want some more Elvis sundae!!! *drool*

The icecream here is some of the best I have ever had. All their ingredients are local and organic. If your looking for a sugar fix I highly recommend bringing your friends and family down to Mission Hill Creamery. Foods amazing and the staff is extremely friendly and helpful.

I came here last night and ordered three scoops in a cup. I was told I’d be charged for a “triple,” but I was charged for two separate transactions, a single and a double. 10.50 USD for three scoops in a cup is excessive. Penny Creamery nearby doesn’t engage in pricing shenanigans and its selections are more interesting. (May 2018)

Their sugar cones are super fresh and crunchy. We tried dark chocolate, strawberry banana and coconut.. all super yummy.

Chef Dave knows how to make real ice cream, with eggs, high grade milk, buttermilk, and amazing flavor combos (ie blueberry goat cheese). None of that gimmicky Nitrogen Ice Cream here!

Wonderful flavours of ice cream. Sweet corn was a lovely subtle surprise. Salted caramel was closer to butterscotch.

Stopped here for ice cream and coffee with the family. I dont eat ice cream (Paleo diet), but the coffee was quite good. The ice cream selection looked really good and the rest of the family loved it!

I love the ice cream you offer! Yesterday I got a blueberry goat cheese ice cream and was pleasantly surprised. I was expecting a really cheesy flavor but instead the goat cheese just gave it an extra rich and creamy texture. Absolutely loved it and want to go back today to get a pint because I know your flavores change all the time. I also had the lime-cardamom and Jasmine wakabe (it was seaweed but Im not sure I remember the exact name properly) which were both really tasty too but the fresh blueberries with the goat cheese really made my tastebuds happy!Also, I prefer to go to you over the Penny Ice Creamery because they dont offer a stamp system and their ice cream always leaves a strange film at the top of my mouth. Yours does not!Bravo on some darn good ice cream and friendly service!
