I love this adorable beach themed gift shop in Capitola, CA. They have a little bit of something for everyone. From cards to mobiles to Glass and stemware to women’s clothing and much much more. You have to see to believe! If you are in the area you definitely want to check out this charming shop.

Wow 🤩 feeling the holiday cheer from these folks! I called Christmas Eve minutes before they closed looking for a gift card. The owner (I’m assuming 🤔) or whomever helped us, offered to charge us by phone for the gift and either meet us at her house or wherever she was so we could pick it up if we didn’t make it across town to ZI in time. She even gave us her personal cell phone number to call when we arrived! As one small local biz owner to another, this kind of customer service is what community is all about and is EXTREMELY above and beyond, especially on Christmas Eve! I’m sure they had a super busy exhausting past few days with all the holiday craze, I was just so touched she did all of this for us at the very end of it all. We already loved Zen Island and will definitely be loyal shoppers forever. Sincere thanks! 🥲🎄✨

Zen has the cutest jewelry!! Everytime someone complements me on my jewelry its always from Zen! Super friendly staff and great place to shop for clothes, gifts and home decor!

If you are a person of color they will discriminate towards you. The girls are super rude and greet EVERYBODY but me when I walk in. I see the looks they give me as if I’m going to steal or can’t afford anything.. since everything is overpriced. The girls always have an attitude when I talk to them and aren’t friendly AT ALL!

Lots of cool items. Clothing prices seem overpriced but I’m sure the location causes rent to be steep. Parking is definitely a problem. Street usually full and sidelot doesn’t have many spaces and always worried someone will hit me going by.

Carrie Hunter has great taste ! You will find quite an assortment of incredible items here for the mind body and soul!!! Jennifer Schraeder Farley is a wonderful manager and has experience in managing food and clothing boutiques.!!

Pricey. Staff doesnt know a lot. They have to ask the manager/owner about everything. Manager/owner isnt always super nice or informative either. They dont open on time.

Great gift ideas for family or yourself! Always check the store when I come into town.
