I told the first employee I saw in the Lumber Department what I need: two 2x10s cut to 93 inches and delivered to my home. He told me to find two 2x10 boards, load them on the cart, and take them over to the Cutting Section, which I did. But there was no one at the Cutting Section and he was nowhere to be found.So I found a second employee and told him what I need. He saw that I has picked two 10-foot boards and said they also had 8-foot boards in the next rack. So I put the 10-foot boards back and returned with two 8-foot boards only to find that this second employee had now vanished.After waiting several more minutes for him to reappear near the abandoned Cutting Section, I went to the cashier and explained what was happening. She told me to go over to Customer Service.There I was eventually told that I would need to place a formal order for cutting and delivery but that the cutting must be done in my presence. So the service rep took me back over to the Cutting Section and said she would find someone to do the cutting.A minute later, the missing second employee approached and again asked what I needed. When I showed him the 8-foot boards he had suggested, he replied that they cannot cut less than 10 inches. So I went back to the rack to get the 10-foot boards. But when I returned a minute later to the Cutting Section, the second employee had again gone into hiding along with everyone else in the department.So I want back over to Customer Service, canceled the order, and loudly vowed to never return.

Service desk associate information none.. ignored myself and 8 other people in line.. was laughing on her personal cell.. saying she works too hard n need her break... The young girl at the Pro desk was amazing.. helpful polite and made my self and others feel at ease after dealing with a rude service desk associate...

Hey man, its Home Depot! What can I say? Great place with lots of hardware store type stuff for all your DIY needs. Can get busy in the mornings near the contractor desk but still a great place with great service.

Jasmine and Alfonso of the pro desk would not give up on getting me my pro discount. Their professionalism and determination are just what I expect from The Home Depot.

Horrible customer service, I wanted to buy some Redwood lumber. The bin had been so picked thru that I couldnt find any decent straight pieces. I asked for help at the Pro desk and they couldnt even get anyone in building materials to answer a page. This is the last time I go to Home Depot. Went to Lowes, they had lots of good Redwood in the bin at the same price. In and out, no muss, no fuss. When people waist my time they dont get my business anymore.

On hold for 33 minutes. Finally gave up. Spent over $2500.00 elsewhere.

Pro desk helped me locate and gather some inventory from area stores so I could buy all of it together. Even called me back when they said they would!
