I bought a hoodi sweat jacket and it was reasonably priced for a present

Went to shop at Penneys today, FIRST TIME any employee has asked to help......HUGE. Dina Marie was so kind to care, assisted me well. (found what I needed). My husband and I have always seen employees standing around talking to each other. Disconcerting to us (old front-liners), but if its allowed (?). Keeping busy, learning the products, productivity blesses the store sales and makes one day go by more quickly. Not to mention, makes you feel good! Good customer service even though I didnt find what I was looking for.

Great merchandise available, decent customer service. The biggest issue to watch out for is when the cashier forgets to remove the ink tag. I live outside of this city and had to travel miles back just to get the store to remove the ink tag which they forgot about upon purchase.

This store didnt have very many products for sale and they said they didnt have any samples cashiers werent very knowledgeable about products either and just assumed that I was just an ordinary average Jo with help like that you would be better off selling online in my opinion thank you also told me that if the cc cream foundation I purchased didnt work for me I could just bring it back and exchange it thats not very good advice for someone living outside of Santa Fe thank you young lady but you mite want to work on going to get more knowledge about cosmetology and sales also better customer service and wish you the best have a blessed day

I went into sephora yesterday and there was a great lady working by herself, yet eager to help everyone. I went again today and the lady seemed so upset that she had to help me. Thank you to the first lady for giving me a good experience so I dont judge the store based off of the second lady.

Was trying to get a haircut. Unfortunately they were booked. Tried calling to schedule appointment but no answer. Lots of hairdressers. They have always done a good job but unfortunately the lady at the counter was rather rude.

Prices seemed high, I dont know if its because of covid-19, but it was quiet in there and I couldnt find any one to assist me. I like JC Penneys clothes, but just seemed like the prices were high.

Big store, lot of collection of many other things outside clothing. Price is little high for things that are also available in Walmart.

Had great sales the day I was there. The staff was very attentive and personable.

I went in there and had racks with kids clothing saying 10 dollar clearance. When I went to pay the price was different. I asked they guy to verify the price on the rack. He said if the computer is saying 29.99 he had to charge the 29.99

I was shopping for my daughter a birthday outfit when I recognized Ashley the general manager whom I had associated with when I was living a less than clean lifestyle I remember while smoking a bowl of methane with Ashley about a year ago that she had mentioned she was the general manager and I thought that was very interesting seeing that she has a unquenchable thirst for methamphetamine. Anyway last time I saw her she had purchased a box set of sons of snatch full series from meshe and was short $20.. she told me not to worry since she was the manager she could get me the money or a good deal on something nice for my wife. So I took her word for it. Fast forward a year and I see her at this location well she looked very thin and tweaked I asked her if she remembe owing me the money and she acted like she had no idea. And then proceed to tell me that I was reported to her by an employee that I allegedly said something inappropriate. Well I told her it wasnt true and found the employee who clarified it. Anyway she didnt even have the decency to apologize or pay me the money Im owed. Which was low class and something a meth addict would do. Hope you get clean him!

End of an Era, the rise and fall of the Big Box anchor store. The store is open for now but who knows if bankruptcy will force its closure.

Finally found good quality fleece full zip jacket (Columbia brand) for my wife. Better than what we saw at REI.

To bad the store doesnt have enough cashiers, to not wait to long on line and get out right away. But the store is pretty good, they have cool clothes.

Store was clean with good enough selection but ultimately my wife and I left because the time waiting in line to be checked out became excessive. It feels like you spend more time in line than shopping. They appeared to be quite a few employees around but I admittedly had no idea what they were doing. Won’t be going back.

I always enjoy visiting JC Penney.

VERY disappointed with this store. I spent almost an hour finding tennis shoes that fit - shoes were disorganized, etc. Found one that fit, noticed one of the laces was not complete, went to checkout, and asked for a discount.Check-out guy asked, said he couldnt, I said Ill take them anyway.These shoes were on sale, but he didnt ring up the sale price, so I went and got the tag.Came back, a manager was there, she said JCP cannot sell these to me. She DIDNT say, Im so sorry, we cant sell these to you due to company policy. Let me check and see if he have any others in the back.DONE going to this store. It is not worth it. See why it seems this store is going to go out of business. Visit Mon 10/25/20 @ approx 2:30.

Kids clothes were in a bit of disarray like some people went in and grabbed what they could and ran out. They do have good prices though!

Great place to shop for clothing needs. They also sell small appliances, toys, etc. Customer service is friendly and they will help you find what your looking for. This store is located in a mall. There is plenty of free and handicap parking.

We were waiting at the register near the entrance to the mall there were no employees around that we thought except a young girl in the womens clothing area that was staring at us we started to walk away and stopped to look at stuff near the register when we over heard customer service to womens department so basically she only came when she was called but knew we were there the whole time we waited in line and when she finally helped us she never said hello never said thank you we told her thank you and she said welcome. Jcpenney should hold a class to teach customer service to their employees

I needed some khakis for work and they had the best selection I could find, and the best price.

Went in for a haircut (weekday, about 4 in the afternoon or so). They couldnt take me, which I get since I didnt have an appointment, so I wasnt mad about that. But I found it strange they couldnt get me in the rest of the day, and didnt even try to schedule me for another day. The person I spoke with wasnt terribly rude to be honest, but definitely in no way friendly or helpful either. Ive never been over the moon about the haircuts I got there anyways, and this was enough to make me move on to another place. Never ended up getting a haircut that day and wont go back I dont think.

JC Penney is one of my favorite places to shop! The store is always clean and the displays are so inviting! The prices are great; the staff is helpful and friendly! I love their rewards program! This store carries the items I like; I can always find what I need and want!

Marisol the girl waiting on us did not have any knowledge. Over 45 minutes with her. She needs more training. Then talked to Jared the manager. 0 accommodating. He was not accommodating at all. So then we went to other employees and they were able to help us out and they were wonderful (adam) was smart and great customer service by Adam. But because of the management by Jared we give this place one star. Take management tips by Coronado Mall in Albuquerque please it will help you Mr Jared accommodating customers

I love the clearance sales. The current sale is 50% off items that were already marked 60% to 70% off. I also love the styles of clothing they carry in the shop; its classy chic. Great job, JC Penney! 👍

Got a little upset about covid restrictions.

Customer service sucks! 2 employees gossiping. I tried getting their attention to call someone. The assistant manager came to help & when I mentioned it to her, she said one of them should have assisted me!

The cashier Destiny at SF location in NM was very friendly and she pointed out to other areas of the store that had prices markdown and other items that were on sales. Once the register she informed us of an extra markdown in price for those clearance items and thus we went afterwards and bought more on separate tickets. Amazing experience and super friendly and helpful cashier.

I love the clothing styles and the bedding departments. They always have great prices and great sales. 👍

I purchased all items(gifts) that I have intended. Most important I used the 30% coupon that I received on the mail. I also appreciated the major discounts on numerous items i.e....Clothing

They have good deals for kids clothing and I sometimes get some mans deals on pants. I go there for bargains. They remodled and has more to offer.

The sales associate Infinity was very nice and helpful.

I love JCPenney and its discounts. Every time I and my wife go here most of the clothing are on sale. We use the coupons and it saves us big chunk of money on cloths. We also shop here for kitchen tools and they have sales on them as well. Definitely a very convenient and good place to shop.

I’ve got my hair cut over a year ago here. I had made it very clear that I didn’t want Miranda, to cut my hair more than an inch or two... she cut about 6 inches off & here I am almost 2years later trying to grow my hair back to the length I had. I don’t even want my hair cut by anybody anymore if they’re just going to do whatever they want, no matter how many times I asked her not to take more than an inch or two off. Sad. Hope she doesn’t do this to anybody else.

Came here in the morning after an hour drive to exchange a product. Other patrons and I waited over forty minutes for JCPenney to open and it did not even though their posted opening time is 10am. Not one door open after 10:40. Now I cannot return or exchange because the purchase was in store. Unacceptable and probably an inside look into why this company is closing so many locations.

Manager on duty was awsome. I dont rember her name. She was very nice amd professional.

The layout of this store gave me anxiety... You can see the entire floor of the store because there are no walls that interrupt your line of sight. Also, the format is kinda weird, couldnt find the mens section easily. Signage was less than helpful.

3rd time weve had a messed up online in-store pick-up. First, items were cancelled the day of pick-up, then despite having an email and order list with the remaining 5 items ready for pick-up, only one was actually there. Oh and if you wanted a refund, plan for a 3-5 day wait. I would NOT recommend ordering any time close to a holiday, we were unfortunately out of luck with what we had ordered and wont be able to replace in time. Some stores should NOT have online ordering available, staff has inadequate training or resources and the workflow is never properly implemented.

Clean store. Not so much staff to help you. They are always concentrating on other things. I remember i was in the home department for about 30 minutes and not one person came up to me. No one looked extremely busy, but still people should be welcoming. When walking out by womens department good example you have about 5 people in the cashier area, but didnt seem right. But thats where my opinion comes in.

Randall did a haircut for my young child who has special needs. My son can be difficult to work with, but Randall was patient and kind and my son ended up with a great haircut!
