This is a really cool shop for knives. Their stock is not large but they have some nice stuff. Plan to stay for a while, service is thorough.

I havent been to the store in a few years as I live in Oregon but go to Santa Fe usually once a year for the great Japanese festival. The store owner is friendly but not pushy, the store is small and very clean, and the selection is fine. Very fine. Anyone who complains about this store probably has some problems anyway.

It is really a breath of fresh air to find custom kitchen cutlery and not just folders and hunting knives. With the interest in so many cooking shows Im surprised many custom knife makers have not jumped on this new insurgence of folks who want quality knives for everyday use and have some knives they can really be proud of. The blades are Japanese, Damascus, and very sharp, the handles are beautiful but they should be made with more girth as the handles are a bit thin which is a reason I dont give 5 stars . Beautiful knives! Some with flint blades and antler handles, others with steel blades and beautiful grips. big knives, tiny knives, pocket knives, kitchen knives.

Thought old fart was really cool. He new his knives bought a few. Couple stand out.. one with dinosaur bone and especially one made buy a local maker mallett its a beautiful grind and a small delicate knife thats hard to find

The man who sold me the knife had no customer service skills, knew very little about the product. Then when I got the knife back home, the release wouldnt budge so the knife was just stuck on open. I emailed the company and got the most sexist response, just ask any man. Im truly appalled by the experience and wont be doing any business there ever again.

Bought a great handmade hunting knife here - and got some great advice along with it too.

In short: Great selection of higher end knifes, picked up a Kabar, been a great tool to take along with me into the forest. Also been eyeballing some gil hibben throwing knifes and a Benchmade Osborne they have.In long: Knives make great gifts, Ive bought two for veterans day. One for my dad and one for my grandfather. The only negative was choosing a knife. Ended up buying two victorinoxs Swiss army knives. With custom patterns on both.Also bought an opinel, really cant get a better knife for the price. Especially since this is the only really full on knife store in Santa Fe.Overall a pretty good experience with this store, Id recommend it to friends. Wish the sharpening selection was a little bigger as well. Especially the wet stones.
