I just purchased a Woll 10 piece non stick cookware set from them. There was a problem with one of the pieces. The staff and owner jumped right on it and got me replacements the next day. Its easy to see why theyve been in voted the Best of Santa Fe three consecutive years. I was treated like a king and will definitely be back.

Three cheers for Johnny V! We had a wonderful fun evening, and my expectations were not terribly high, honestly. And when Johnny explained the menu we were going to make as a group, my thought was, that sounds delish. Cant you just make us up all of that? Each couple had at least one dish to be responsible for. Johnny was a guiding hand with each as the timing called for. It was like watching a dance-master. So we made 6 dishes as a group, 1 of which (fish tacos) we have already successfully made, and there are 4 other dishes we know well be adding to our repertoire. Thanks Johnny for a great and enriching evening

For more years than I like to count, I’ve been enjoying this well-stocked cooking emporium. The owners taught me about the beautiful Staab cookware that to me, is the sports car of cooking pots. Beautiful colors and super performance, and a joy to use. Years ago, one of the sales associates helped me pick out a pressure cooker. He spent so much time with me making sure I understood the physics of pressure cooking, and the options for converting recipes. The owners are fantastic and are always happy to answer questions or give ideas on entertaining. Part of my excitement at Las Cosas is the walk back to the dinner ware section to admire the gorgeous serving ware, glass ware and gourmet goodies. The cooking school is like theater because chef Johnny V is part comedian and part loving auntie who wants to make sure you have a delightful experience while learning new cooking concepts. I love this place!

Excellent service and attention to customers in a family owned business. Nothing is particularly inexpensive in this store, but the quality is good. They stock everything you need if you love cooking, wine and coffee.

The people here are very rude if they dont think you have money or have children. I was going to buy an extremly over priced funnel to support local business . However the cold rude attitudes from the current staff is unexceptable ... take your business else where!

Always good service to me and my wife and theyve always had what we wanted. Weve been there several times. Went in once looking for modern shrimp forks - they had them. Got a silicone boil-over preventer, better blender, etc. Hard to think of something they wouldnt have.

Today (8/11/18) Las Cosas is celebrating its 20th anniversary in Santa Fe. I have patronized the store since the start. Besides a friendly, knowledgeable staff, it has every kitchen gadget known to man. The gizmos are fascinating - and fun to explore for kids of all ages. You might just find one that solves a culinary problem. Beyond the myriad of kitchen aids, Las Cosas offers high-quality pots and pans, appliances, cutlery and even tableware. Everyone in Santa Fe should make a point to visit the store. I am thankful that a local business out-shines the big box stores and continues to thrive.

My son and I stopped here on an out west trip on our way to Philmont, the Boy Scout Camp. We had an opportunity to take a class about using kitchen knives. It lasted about two hours. We had a blast. We did hands on cutting and slicing of vegetables and actually got to meet and speak with the Wusthof Knife Company representative who was there that day. We were able to speak with the owner to made time to also speak with us about knives and other kitchen gadgets. The Chef that presented the class was as entertaining as the material. We really enjoyed the class, the owner, the Chef and all the other employees who helped us. I would highly recommend this business and the classes they put on!

This is a wonderful cooking supply store. I live in New York and we have just bought a vacation home in Santa Fe. I was delighted to find Las Cosas!

If this place doesnt have what you need, they probably dont make it. Staff was very helpful and friendly. We found items, such as a favorite wine opener, we couldnt find elsewhere.

We just had a cooking class with Chef Johnny Vee and the Las Cosas Cooking School, and I cant express how happy we are with our cooking experience with Chef Vee, the class and the food! We had a fantastic time with his New Mexican Menu and he couldnt have been a more fun and kind soul cook with. The kitchen and store were nice, clean, and organized. Everything was hands on and his education and instruction was well planned, organized and unbelievably delicious! The store itself had friendly knowledgable employees and their classes are excellent. The store has one of the largest selections of wares you may ever find in a kitchen shop. I read all of the reviews of various cooking schools and stores in Santa Fe and did my own free thinking and am still absolutely thrilled with our decision to cook and shop here. The store staff couldnt have been nicer and more helpful. The next time youre in Santa Fe call up Chef Vee and set up a time for one his private classes. He is a wealth of talent and a total blast to be around, and the food, My God!, the food was incredible We loved it! Enjoy!

I went to purchase a gift on Christmas Eve and purchases several items. When I got home there was a item missing (expensive tea) I had no time to return to the store so i called them up and they told me that they checked there inventory and that everything was accounted for there for the only thing they could do was replace it with another. I asked for a refund since it was going to be a gift they say no. For $18.00 dollars they lost a customer. I will never shop there again...Very bad service.
