Amazing handcrafted leather goods. Love visiting this place. The carry Benchmade knives and have a good selection on hand. The folks that work here are amazing Craftsmen and very friendly. Ive visited this store many times and have always felt welcomed whether I purchased something or not. Most times I buy something. Great stuff.

Ordered Chacon bison belt online. They called me to double check the width ( I had it wrong) and to make sure I got what I wanted. It arrived and it was perfect. Thank you for going the extra mile. Highly recommend this shop.

I love this place, you get this sort of old west vibe in this place. The smell of leather is amazing... The staff is quite helpful. Tons of belt selections all super high quality. I have 3 belts from this shop that Ive had for 5 years, the gift that keeps on giving.They also have a serious knife collection for those who are looking for quality. Every time i go in there there is something new or the shop has gotten bigger. Nice shop.Kris is a hell of a guy, give him a challenge and he will show you the goods! He made me a custom overnight bag that could literally hold gold bars.

This store which is in historical downtown Santa Fe has a great selection of leather goods and accessories. My wife bought a custom belt buckle from another store in the area and recommended that we go to this store for a leather belt to fit. We were not disappointed, they had what she was looking for. They also have a craftsman leather worker on hand to make any custom leather goods.

They are so great here. A lot of great handmade leather offerings.

Loved my visit to Lethewerks. Kristian Moore, runs a great shop, where one can find handcrafted belts ready for your buckle you just bought, or have one specially made for you...leathers from domestic to exotic. Very helpful team in the store, waited on wife and me for almost an hour. When I forgot my camera in the store, the Chris came looking for me to get it back to me...very helpful!

We stopped in last month. Letherwerks represents Vicki Brown at JV Leather Crafts, based in Cleveland, NM. Vickie used my 1975 leather belt case for my Swiss Army Knife. The leather case was falling apart. Vickie made a custom, nearly identical new case that will last my lifetime. It is beautiful, solid, and well, Amazing. I tried three other leather workers and was disappointed in their results, but Vickies work was top notch. Their belts are also very high quality- a good friend bought a buffalo belt, now his favorite. Although Taos and Santa Fe had many leather shops in the 1970s, it is very difficult now to find one anywhere. Great job, Vicki!

We travel to Taos every year and always make a special effort to stop in. The selection is amazing and there is always is something new to see and buy. Christian is a wonderful owner, knows his craft and provides exceptional customer service.

Have a belt made!One of the best experiences here is having a belt made while you wait. Color choices, width, buckle choices are all customizable.My husband had one, my son now has two, and my stepdad had one made here last Summer.A fun unique gift - just be clear on the recipients belt length or waist size.Many belts premade to choose from. We always bring our our of town guests into Letherwerks. They love the selection of quality leather goods.

Got a beautiful purse and excellent customer service from Cris .I think he was honestly one of the nicest guys I have ever met .My purse is so soft I wish everything was made out of this stuff. Please be open in December .
