Great service. Had them fit some new tires for me, perfect job. While they had my bike they noticed a front fork had started weeping. They replaced the seals on both Ohlins and gave them back good as new. Since then they have done other work on a couple of my bikes, no problems. They arent cheap, but they are good. I will take that any day of the week.
I was so impressed by this place. Old-fashioned customer service - and its a shame that service like this is considered old fashioned.I sent a couple of emails first and received prompt and complete answers. I went in to look at a scooter because there were no businesses with 50cc scooters in stock in Albuquerque. Im so glad I did! I have never owned a scooter of my own before and its been many many years since I rode on one. No pressure sales, answered all my questions, friendly, above-and-beyond service. Even called me a couple weeks later to see if I was still happy and if I had questions.I need to get a hitch cycle hauler so I can take it back for routine maintenance. Note: They are an hour away from me and I have to buy a hauler to get it there, but theyre totally worth it. Places like this are the ones I want to see thrive.Customer for life.
The air in this place smells like they know what their doing. Awesome classic bikes around.
Wonderful people. Very friendly and helpful. Cute dog (snowflake?)
Fixed my motorcycle on short notice and saved my motorcycle trip. Couldnt be happier, they are some of the friendliest people you will ever meet.
Marc and Greg know their business! The shop is super clean and organized. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The shop dog will greet you in the parking lot. Finding a good motorcycle mechanic can be tough. Now that Ive found OCD, Im a customer for life, and Im telling all my moto friends, as well as anyone else who might be interested.
OCD is a great shop, and I highly recommend them if youre in the area. I was on the way home from a trip and got an unrepairable flat in the middle of nowhere on my Africa Twin and had to get towed there. The tow truck guy showed up 5 mins before they closed - and they stuck around to get my bike into the shop and it was ready by noon the next day. Any moto-touring folks who have needed assistance on the road know that the last place we want to be is in a shop, but sometimes we dont have a choice, and knowing there are shops out there like OCD makes the whole situation a lot easier to deal with. They were able to put on a new front tire and get me on my way quickly, and I cant say enough about how happy I was to stumble onto this shop. And if it matters, everyone I met was super cool and I could tell that they knew their business -- and although I had bad luck in getting that flat, I feel its been tempered to some degree in finding such a gem of a shop. A+
These guys are all you need for your motorcycle and auto repair needs. Youll get great work and meet some new friends!
Marc is a genius! His staff is the most helpful, honest and polite I have seen in a long time-this is SF after all. My 525 KTM was at the dealership (SF motorsport) for a YEAR and they still could not fix it correctly. Gave it to Marc and after a few hour and a $5 part, YES a $5 part it is purring like a tiger!! Thank you OCD you have a customer for life!
The only place I take my BMW R1100RT.
In every professional relationship communication is the most important. OCD has provided the best communication and professional service. They want the best for their customers and I highly recommend them. I don’t see any reason not to use them. Thanks for your wonderful service! I’ll certainly be coming back.
Trust me, go somewhere else. I’ve been a repeat customer of OCD, they do decent work but are GREEDY. I spent nearly $2700 and they rushed my fairings and didn’t reassemble them right, even damaging the clips on them. And they tried to charge me to fix the damage they caused. What a joke. They are greedy and money hungry. Yes, everyone has to make a living and Put food on the table but these guys way overstate labor. A 30 minute job they will charge you for an hour and a half. Likewise a 2 hour job they will overstate labor to 4 hours. Either do the work yourself or go to the dealer. At least the dealer charges $10 less an hour for labor. Overall, they are decent but don’t get WAXED like I did. I will never return after being ripped off so heavily, and bringing my bike home with now damaged fairings.
Spoke earlier with, presumably, the owner Marks wife in an attempt to get some assistance to get my car running. Initially, the lady seemed to be helping me schedule a time to service my vehicle. During her questioning and taking my information I revealed to her my difficulties and personal situation in the hope of getting the assistance I need to hopefully get the car operable, to my dismay, she abruptly stated that she could not help me and promptly hung up on me. I thought that this was unwarranted, inappropriate, and quite unprofessional. I hope that other potential customers will not have to experience this. Ironically, I was referred to OCD by someone who recommended the company.
Excellent job. Got my speed bump of a motor scooter to the point where I can get up to speed even on the highway.
Great service and knowledgeable staff. I’ve a BMW K1600GTL and has no problem getting it repaired on the same day.Although they have limited tire choices in stock, they did have the best.Very clean and professional environment with experienced staff.
I have finally met someone that I completely trust with my motorcycle! Marc and Francis at OCD Custom Cycles are the real deal. Absolutely amazing customer service! They stand behind their work like no one else!Thank you!Greg
Great service from Marc and Frances!
OCD has some of the most reliable service Ive ever received. Marc is one of the best mechanics Ive ever met, while Francis does a great job to help you find what exactly you need. I would highly recommend this shop to anyone and will continue to come here for years to come for my motorcycle needs.
I have never had a motorcycle serviced at OCD, but Marc mentored me when I was hired at Santa Fe BMW in 06. I have never met a mechanic as meticulous and perfection oriented as he is. I personally watched him diagnose problems that BMW corporate couldnt, and we never, the entire time I worked there, had a comeback. We did however have individuals that would mess their bikes up by listening to internet mechanics, and then come in an want it fixed under warranty. I would take any motorcycle to his shop without the slightest hesitation, and know it would be in good hands, and properly serviced.
Found and fixed electrical drain on battery that other shops couldn’t.Best mechanic around!
Amazing people and fast service. 100% recommend
Always competent service and friendly staff.
Okay, Ill admit Im biased because Marc & Franny are friends as well. Ive been both a customer and a friend since 2013. Marcs background as a master Mercedes technician augments his overall knowledge and experience in motorcycle maintenance as well.
Theyre just fantastic/ best in town.
Absolutely the best all around experience Ive ever had at a motorcycle repair shop. Highly knowledgable staff and excellent customer service.
Took my K1200LT BMW trike, one of a few, to OCD for yearly service, had not used them before, recommended by another BMW rider. I dont let just any bike shop work on my trike being that it is very rare. Very professional staff and techs. Very impressed with Mark. Pricing was very fair. Highly recommend OCD!!!
Good work
Pulled my R1200RT out of a couple years in storage and took it to OCD. They answered all my questions, made solid recommendations, scheduled the service, and performed it quickly and completely. Im a fan. Oh, and nice people, too.
Great mechanic Marc! Seasoned my baby for winter. Prices far for work. Give them a chance!
A real motorcyclists motorcycle shop and not just a shop it’s a destination.
I had OCD do a very large job on my BMW single, a complete engine swap. Marc did a fine job and there have been no problems. I wish them luck in their new larger location.
Quick service, super friendly staff and owners, and honest about what your bike needs. After dealing with one particularly awful mechanic in town, Marc and OCD were a breath of fresh air. He picked up my bike at my house, it was ready on time and on budget (maybe even under), and later when it stalled out due to another problem he picked me up on the side of the road and troubleshot the problem right there so I could address it at home (he offered to take it to the shop but I am learning as I go too and they welcome home wrenchers). Im really happy I found this tucked away shop and plan on going here for a long time (as vintage bikes need extra love).
I never knew Marc as an automobile mechanic but I believe he is very competent as a bike mechanic. I came into his shop twice for two different repairs. He did a fantastic job both times in a very reasonable amount of time at a very reasonable cost. If it hadnt been for Marc & Frances, our vacation could have been a bust. They were completely accommodating with our IMMEDIATE need for repairs. Because of them we will make it back home safe & sound.Trevor & Janet HinesleyFarmington, UT
Marc and Frances are always wonderful to work with!
I have taken my vintage BMW to OCD several times for service and upgrades, most recently in April 2020. Marc rebuilt front and rear shocks, installed tapered steering head bearings, and rebuilt the steering damper.Past service included replacing the 6v system with a Powerdynamo unit; cleaning slingers, rebuilt engine w/crank refurbish, new top end, and clutch. The bike runs like new. I couldnt be more pleased with all aspects of their service! Frances keeps the front office running smooth. Marc is a highly skilled mechanic who shows great attention to detail. He really knows these bikes! I would not hesitate to return when the need arises. Thanks!
Marc, was the consummate professional, More businesses could take lessons from Him and FrancesI was having trouble with my bike (A Motus) he ushered me in to his shop directly as I was on a trip.putting all other work aside for a few minutes, he fixed my problem and I was on my way quickly.Cant say enough good about Marc and Frances they will always get my business when in Santa FeThanks, you saved my trip Marc.
These guys and ladies are the best! Highly recommend them on service, and reasonably priced tires and accessories.
Great service, fair rates, highly knowledgeable. A+++
People who leave reviews are often the odd disgruntled customer. Usually happy regular customers dont feel the need to write about it, but seeing some of the negative reviews here put me on the defensive.I have been a regular customer of OCD for the past 4 or 5 years. I have owned 3 different bikes during that time and Marcs shop is the ONLY one in New Mexico with which I will entrust my bike for services and repairs. I put about 10,000 miles a year on two wheels and I need to know that my bike is in good shape and that I can trust work done on it while I am far from Santa Fe. Marc has gone out of his way on numerous occasions including saving a cross-country trip for me the day before departing by leaving his shop, trailering my bike, finding needed parts in his spare parts bin, and returning my bike to me. This despite the fact that my issue with my bike at that time was caused by errors in judgement on my part doing my own repairs. I have had numerous experiences leaving a bike repair shop with my bike is worse shape than when I brought it in. It is extremely rare to find a capable and honest bike mechanic ANYWHERE. I am happy to pay his rates because the security of knowing Marc will make it right is worth it.
The name of the shop says it all. I could never do what Marc does. Theres a reason why people ship bikes from out of state for repairs. They want it done right the first time.
Highly skilled, honest and meticulous, Marc always inspires confidence, and Frances, who knows her customers and their bikes, is always kindly and helpful.
I actually havent done any Official business with them yet, but have called them to ask about some issues with my bikes and they are always willing to help on the phone a bit. Im taking a bike to them tomarrow that might have a bad valve, not sure, so well see how it goes. Stay tuned for the outcome. I heard they did good work from fellow racers, and while i do most of my own work some things i dont have time for so im looking for a good Go to mech. Like i said, stay tuned!! Steve out.
Marc was a competent, reliable mechanic when he worked at Executive Auto. Since opening OCD, hes been a disappointment. Whether its the pressure of the profit and loss responsibility or something else, Marc has repeatedly disappointed. My first disappointment was when Marc charged over $1,000 to repair a faulty brake modulator. Except that Marc doesnt have the equipment to perform that repair. The last disappointment, and I mean the last - I wont be back - is that Marc charged $300 to repair a fault in the MotoLights. Within an hour of leaving the shop, the lights shorted and melted the bulb receptacle.Marc claims to stand behind his work with a warranty. But despite my communication of disappointment with his work, he has made no effort to make good on work he took on but could not perform, nor to repair the substandard work on the MotoLights. He simply refuses to stand behind his work.Sandia BMW might not be great, but they really do continue to work until they get it right.PS: I notice Marc doesnt deny he failed to make the repair, or honor his warranty. Review of his invoice indicates that there is no reference to used parts, only OCDs 12 month 12k mile warranty, which Marc refuses to honor. He was a good mechanic before, but remains a disappointment since opening OCD.
Best service center ever worked with. Best people
Laced my spoke wheels that very day and took time to talk shop with me while he did it. Great experience.
Customer service was very poor. i only called with a inquiry for them to look at my bike--and the lady on the phone told me that they would be too expensive for me. it was VERY disrespectful [not to mention offensive] and doesnt seem like a good business model for a company in the service business.
Nice cozy nice little bike repair facility nice people
Great customer service, and the mechanics go above and beyond.
Best place in town!
Real experts. Real service.
Professional services, very knowledgeable, use with confidence
BUYER BEWARE!!!! BMW MOTORCYCLE OWNERS!!!! After a recent parts purchase from OCD for a scheduled maintenance on my motorcycle I discovered that OCD is marking up BMW motorcycle parts 25%+ above dealer list prices.
Very well stocked, very high quality staff.
Super professionals and concerned about the safety of the motorcyclist!
Perfect my dear brother
