Incredible pottery by Native tribes. Incredible experience. Sacred experience to be cherished for life and I love my pieces. Thank you, John!

We went into the Original Trading Post yesterday evening. They have lots of fun souvenirs, but as you go back into the store, they have a beautiful collection of fine regional pottery. Gorgeous stuff. Valerie was so gracious and knowledgeable. You can tell she takes great care in knowing the history of these beautiful pieces. She ultimately helped us find a treasure in our budget and had it wrapped very well so we could safely get it home.We enjoyed our visit very much and recommend this shop to anyone visiting Santa Fe.

This trading post offered a lot of unique gifts and souvenirs. They offer many New Mexican styled gifts like green or red Chile, or chimena wood burners.

Prices for jewelry were fine. The store is fun to visit. Many things were more expensive than other surrounding stores by one to two dollars. Ambiance is interesting and worth a stop in.

This place is packed with some of the best souvenirs and regional collectibles that I have seen so far. The only kicker is the price. Im not sure if it is due to the authenticity or quality of the product, or just the fact that it is downtown Santa Fe, but their prices seem higher than normal.

If you are in Santa Fe you have to stop by The Original Trading Post. Established in 1609 this is the oldest existing trading post in the US. You will hear the original hardwood floors creek below your feet. You will also discover wonderful southwestern treasures and souvenirs from your Santa Fe visit.Be sure to check the beautiful southwestern womens wear too in the back of the store. And if you see Margarita tell her I said hello. She is a fantastic sales woman.

Great service by knowledgable staff. The same land has been continuously used for commerce in one way or another for literally centuries. Beautiful pottery, great western hats, rare rocks and much more.

I had a few things on my “to buy in Santa Fe” list: sage, woven basket, and a magnet were just a few. Luckily I found them ALL at this store and decently priced! I recorded this store to all of my friends back home and I hope they come to see you soon!

My daughter Christina & I have been shopping here since we moved to Santa Fe 4 years ago. Hands down our favorite store ever! We love the fashion & quality of the clothes! Pam is our favorite sales person. She drops everything to help us coordinate our outfits & knows our taste & style so well that she puts cerertain items aside for us! I recently was hired as a background actor on the set of Longmire, which is being filmed in Santa Fe. Ive gotten tons of compliments from people on set about my clothes. So I referred people to your store!!!

Dont be fooled by the tourist-oriented gift selection when you first walk in - head toward the back for a treasure trove of fun, unique clothing. Best priced Kashmiri pashmina scarves Ive seen in Santa Fe, too.

I wanted to buy some cute santa fe clothing but it was hard as Margarita didnt give me a chance to look. She kept following me around and kept talking, not getting the hint that I want to browse in peace. The icing on the cake was when Margarita asked if I was pregnant. Im a 56 120lbs girl, quite thin, this abrasive lady had no reason to assume such status. Quite uncomfortable, had to leave quickly.
