I love this location. The store is clean and organized, even around the holidays. The workers are friendly. They always seem to have what I need in stock. There is plenty of parking, and they go the extra mile to ensure customer safety.

I went to another Michaels earlier in the day that was not up to par. However this particular store was well organized, the aisles were clear and the employees were easily accessible and helpful. I will definitely return for all of my crafting and gifting needs to this location.

It has everything you need! Except food but they do have a little candy and sweets at the cashier. Michaels is the perfect place to go if you are doing a school project or just making something for fun!!

Prices are too high. Even the sales items are priced too high

Due to Covid there is usually a line to get in so be forewarned that you might have to wait 15 minutes or so. Once you are in though the staff is incredibly helpful and know where most of what you are looking for is located. There are bargains to be had if you pay attention to the red tags. Also, if they have your phone number/email address you will save a lot more over and above their sales prices!

Lovely items (many of them are not available for us in Germany). I can not compare the prices to other stores like that. Its a little bit more expensive here than in Germany but the product range is great so you will be prepared to pay a little bit more.

After several separate visits, we have realized this store is definitely not like other Michaels stores weve shopped in. This store reminds me of shopping a big box store where you have to literally hunt down an employee, and pray to the good Lord above they are able to help find an item, a price, etc. Even if were the only ones in line, we wait while cell phones are checked and messages sent via headset to who knows where. So much more important than a sale (which help keeps doors open and people employed) right?!?! The competition may occupy a smaller space but the overall experience is light years ahead. Liked this place mu h better when it was in the old location. Customer service was better and certain items more plentiful. Hope it gets better, but grateful to the alternatives in the area.

I love our friendly & helpful Santa Maria Michaels staff! I also appreciate the coupons & notifications, as finances are grippingly tight this year. That said, I can always go in & find a super deal (which justifies buying, right?!) & I leave skipping (literally...& humming a happy tune).

This Michaels always has products I need with great customer service. The building itself is easily accessible from the highway. The only recommendation I have is to find the budget that allows for more floor persons on the weekends, as it made it hard to catch attention and purchase my Cricut. Other than that, this store is always great with a great selection and variety.

I love Michaels. So many goodies. The store is large and full of amazing stuff. It wasnt crowded today so Im guessing fewer employees needed. (I should say ... I didnt SEE many) Made it a little tough to get help but when I did she was very helpful. Pleasant experience.

We found what we needed on our own. There didnt seem to be anyone on the floor to help. Place was very clean. The cahier was very rude to us because the lady in front of us was taking forever splitting items and payments but we had to wait in line and we literally only had 2 items so she didnt need to give us attitude just because she was irritated with the previous customer.

Michaels likely has what you need, and more, but it may not be easy to find. Lots of good coupons and craft workshops. My daughters are really looking forward to Camp Creativity this summer!

I have been going to Michaels ever since I could remember. I loved them when they were by grocery outlet and I love them now. Michaels is easy to navigate. They have most things crafters will need. Some of their products are pricey but coupons help. I am BIG fan of their Halloween decor and look forward to see it all when the time comes. I have also made returns and they are super quick and helpful. The employees are knowledgable and extremely nice. Great place.

Everyone in our local store is so helpful every time I come in which is usually two or three times a week. They absolutely adore my three-year-old and he is familiar with them as well. Theyre always happy to see us especially him and take time out of there day to greet us and ask how were doing. They really make you feel like you are welcome.

Did not get good service from this store. Supervisor/ manager just planely ignored me and brushed me off when i asked for assistance. No courtesy whatsoever...not coming back.

Had everything I needed,I had prints stretched out and came out great. Good price. Definitely go back.

Sooo much stuff! Only thing missing sewing section. No fabric! Wonderful seasonal products. Great florals. Could use an entry seasonal display. Affordable and enticing. Small stuff for my doll house.

Great place to buy Christmas decorations and frames

Sometimes you just get the right employee at Michael’s and it’s a real good day. Today, the young lady who helped me in the Freeman department was terrific. The only reason I didn’t give it five stars is that I think their prices are way too high. When I have time to order framing supplies, I do it online and can save about 50% compared to Michael’s. I wish I could say The experience of shopping at Michael’s was worth 50%, but that’s a tough one. Thank you to the cheerful, well-trained, and helpful employees at Michael’s.

I really do love this place- its perfect for art supplies, fun toys for kids, craft classes for kids, and many baking and crafting tools/supplies. The prices are just through the roof sometimes. However, I still do very much enjoy this store!

The framing here is top shelf and they will make what ever you bring them pop and look like a million bucks. Unfortunately even with coupons the framing is going to cost you a pretty penny

Im only going 3 stars cuz Im a dude with an ego. Some of the staff is awesome and some probably need help trying their shoes. The latter wont keep me away though. Found glow in the dark paracord even for this elephant. I freaking love this place.

The lady at the counter was more focused on people coming in at closing time than the customer in front of her. She even yelled at a lady we close in 8 minutes... she was sending a message of just leave instead... ofcourse this is my interpretation, however several customers said the same thing.

I went for Black Friday to do some Christmas shopping and was very satisfied with how the store was organized to make the shopping experience easy. There was always a staff member waiting to answer any questions or help unlock a case for me. By far the best Black Friday shopping experience Ive had hands down.

Was making my mom a wall mounted jewelery box and they had jewelery foam boxes in different sizes and stuff. Perfect. Was just what I needed. The new improved location was a Crafters dream. Even had things the kids wanted and a few things they needed. I will be returning often 😁

This Michaels is bigger and has a larger selection than the one in Lompoc. Usually had pretty decent coupons as well - if you dont already have one, look one up online and they can scan it in from your phone. I have had good service here.

Good customer service. Longtime with four cashiers, they brought up the fifth cashier to help reduce the wait time which was getting to be lengthy due to a lot of returns.Not impressed by one of the girls on the floor. I showed her a picture of a bow I was looking for and asked if they would have something like it and she just blurted out no we wouldnt. I walked around the store and found exactly what I was looking for.

You know its a good place when they can refer you to other places if they dont have the product instead of trying to change your mind buy something that they have. Theyre also very accommodating and very gracious.

Michaels is my crafts store. Love visiting the store, it is clean. I buy what I need for my crafts or house decorations. Why Im not giving the five stars is, because the asocietes. If I need help, I should figure out by myself because is no one around or if is they either no answer right o with bad actitud. And usually the prices are not updated.

I like Michael. However. There is a great difference between one Michael and the next one. I usually frequency Michaels in Camarillo and the Michaels in Ventura both of which are well-stocked and have the products that I am looking for. Some Michael our way with less organized than the one that needs to. I am an embroiderer and so I am always looking for embroidery thread and needles, and some Michael have none of this. Michaels is a great store, that you have to be selective about which one you go to.

I was not happy with your selection of knitting needles, not much choice. Clover is not the best needle, but you have a plethora of them, but no long circulars!!! 23 max is the longest, none longer and that is wrong!How about a selection of longer metal needles??? You are certainly not meeting the needs of those of us that are serious knitters. There is no specific yarn shop in Santa Maria CA, therefore you must carry more of the needles than cities that have yarn shops, so get with the program and help us out here, PLEASE!Patricia F HoffmanSanta Maria CA 93455
