I left my car here on Friday (August 20) and was told it would be done on Wednesday since they need to order the parts. I had to check with my insurance on Monday regarding the policy, and the moment that was done, I immediately called CARSTAR to go ahead with repairing the front bumper. They said all parts are there and I could still get it on Wednesday.On Wednesday the manager or owner, Albert called to let me know that they will start the repair and it would be ready by Friday. I came in on Friday just to find out the front bumper wasn’t attached properly. The gap was very noticeable. However, he was trying to convince me to accept it by saying things like it’s aftermarket part that’s why, it’s better for the car so the next impact won’t damage the hood, etc. I didn’t agree! So, the car needs to stay there longer until his mechanic comes back on Monday.I got the car back today (August 30) with the front bumper attached properly, no gap in between. Honestly, I wouldn’t come back here. I saw the good reviews on Yelp, but what he did on Friday wasn’t professional. I also understand auto shop tends to extend the date so they could charge more, but the whole process made it very inconvenient to go to work. I’m sure there are more reliable auto shops out there.

Very satisfied with my choice to use these guys. Their work is absolutely flawless and they even gave me a loaner car when their time estimate had to be pushed back a bit. Office staff was very knowledgeable and helpful in organizing rental appointments.

Carstar was very professional and did a great job repairing my car. Great communication and they kept me up to date on how everything was going. Javier and Roxy were a pleasure to work with, they went above and beyond to make me feel valued. They treated me like a king. What a refreshing change from many service businesses. They did a fantastic job redoing the bodywork on the bumper of my 2020 Ford escape. The car was delivered on time and they were extremely professional. The front office personnel were fantastic and very nice. I would definitely recommend people to this excellent business.

Our van got into a slight fender bender. The good people at Carstar Collision contacted my Insurance company and handled my claim. I was so amazed. They actually told me I had a zero deductible because it was a comprehensive claim and was not my fault. They offered me one of there own rental vehicles or a rental from Enterprise. They also are bilingual and spoke Spanish to the person that hit me. Our vehicle came out flawless. I highly recommend Car Star. Ask for Albert.

Carstar City Motors was worth the commute. We live in San Luis Obispo and a good friend reffered Carstar. At first we were hesitant to drive to Santa Maria but our friend said youll be surprised. Roxanne greeted us at the front office and was very helpful. The office was welcoming and very well decorated. They put us in a rental and called our insurance company and made everything so seamless. We will highly recommend Carstar to all our friends an family. Our BMW was back to normal and they detailed it. Felt so nice to drive away in a clean car.
