I was very impressed with the level of service I received. They took care of the concerns I had with my car and even let me know one of my concerns was in good shape and didnt need replacing. In my experience, dealerships either try to milk you for everything or provide reliable honest service, and this dealership is definitely the latter. Huge shout out to Tom for providing incredible service the whole way through.

Quick update... after promising to reimburse me for expenses, they only reimbursed me for the $650 towing bill... Refused to cover any of my other expenses or return my receipts. Dont trust this dealership. Heres what happened... Took my car in for a simple oil change on 7/6/2020 before leaving on a trip to Oregon. They forgot to tighten plug or replace dip stick. Needless to say all oil drained out and i ended up towing the car to the nearest dealer - 2 hours away. Santa Maria Ford has done nothing to help other than to say they will reimburse me for any expenses. 1 week later I am still stranded in Oregon. Havent heard a word from them. I bought the car from them in February which only has 31k miles... never again

Made an appointment for a factory recall a week ahead of time and went I called they said they had already done 3 of the same thing and I told them I was from out of town and if they didnt do it before 4 I would pick it up. I am handicap and they didnt even offer to bring my car to the check out station. That Sucks in my opinion

We researched and decided on a new Ford Ranger XLT. It has all the safety features and functionality we were seeking. Dominic at Santa Maria Ford was extremely knowledgeable, friendly and promptly responded to our questions by phone and email. The staff at the facility were all wearing masks even when alone in the offices (glass walls) and all of the interview tables were set up with 6 feet of separation between everyone. Hand sanitizer was everywhere. I felt safe. The follow-up call was icing on the cake.

I feel lucky to live in Santa Maria and have easy access to the Ford/Lincoln dealership. I bought my 2nd Lincoln in 2018, an MKX Which has performed great for me; however, it wasnt until a couple of days ago that I found out the service Dept was also special. I had a large piece of metal puncture a tire and Patrick, in the service Dept, had it repaired and reinstalled quickly while I waited and the took the time to brief me on maintenance due. it was a pleasant experience!

In terms of the salesmen at this place, they were pretty nice and helpful with what I was looking for, but didnt give me info on the history of the model of the car I got. Bit me in the butt later on. In terms of the service for cars. Did not look into my problem with the transmission and the constant turning off I had to do. My local mechanic made the quick fix on everything, gave me info on what was happening, which wouldve saved me the hassle. Overall, Id say an average dealership who dont cross ts and dot is. Id recommend buying new cars, or good used cars and sticking with basic oil changes

Not impressed. My experience trying to buy a used car from them gives all used car salesmen a bad name. Not only did they show me a used car with a broken power window (that I discovered) and noticed it was due for a transmission service (that my mechanic discovered), they then called me back and increased the price saying it had been listed incorrectly online. After I backed out, they contacted me again and agreed to keep the price as was listed online. So we changed our plans, picked up kids from school, raced over for an appointment at 4:30, only to find it was sold 10 minutes before we got there. A waste of my 24 hours. Overall, it felt kind of shady. My guess is they sold it to the next guy for the price they really wanted to get which was a few thousand dollars more. Not cool.

I went to Santa Maria Ford Lincoln and needed to get my airbag clock spring replaced for my grandmas 2000 LS Lincoln, and during the process of the installation, they broke the lower panel to get to the wires. I had to go everywhere to find the correct panel, because Santa Maria Ford could not find a replacement, and offered to glue it back together for THEIR mistake, so I had to find the part myself, for a 20 year old vehicle that has an irriplacable panel, that practically does not exist at this point, I even drove all the way to Paso Robles to get the part, in the same color, and same model, but luckily, I was able to find the part. My grandma told me to never take her Lincoln back to the Santa Maria Ford Lincoln dealership and told me she would rather do it herself. She is 85.

Parts department will forget to order your part, wont take your phone number to let you know its in, and definitely needs to be reminded that nobody replaces a part without also ordering the gasket/o-ring. Try Mulhaney Ford in AG instead for knowledgeable staff and exceptional service.

I just bought a vehicle and I am super happy with the service I received from the dealership. I had been looking around for a vehicle for couple weeks, went to a few dealerships, emailed several, and by far Abraham exceeded my expectations. I am so used to car salesman attacking me like sharks when walking onto their lot, and personally, I CANT STAND IT! Abraham is the nicest car salesman I encountered while on my search. He didnt pressure me into ANYTHING, this was the most pleasing part of my whole experience. He directed me to the car I liked and immediately got me the price that I was looking for. I was at the Honda in Lompoc the day before and they had the same exact car for sale, but they were not working with me on the price. Ford beat the offer that Honda gave me! Abraham also promised to have the vehicle detailed to try and get some of the stains out of the back seat (it is a used car). A week went by and I was finally able to make it back to the dealership, they detailed the car as promised. (my last car shopping experience the dealership promised to clean some things up if I brought it back and then informed me that they were going to charge me...) I cant express my gratitude for the great car shopping experience Abraham provided. If youre looking for a car, I recommend making a stop here and asking for Abraham. Im sure he will make your experience a good one too.

If I could rate negative stars i would. I own 2018 Lincoln Navigator. I was feeling some thrust when car down shifted and mirrors would continue to click when resetting. Service had my car over two weeks just to tell me nothing was wrong and had to deal with the mirror issue. This was not acceptable when you purchase a vehicle worth $90,000. When I got the car back the interior was filthy with grease Marks on the cloth visors and leather. I didnt purchased car at Galpin Lincoln because they had a great deals and excellent service. Took car back to Galpin just to find out there was repairs and updates needed on my car.. buyers and customers beware!!!!

After a nightmare experience dealing with Paso Ford, Costco gave the option of going to Santa Maria Ford and it was FANTASTIC. we worked with James (he no longer works there) but he went above and beyond for us and found the best truck ever. He was leaving the dealership to new adventures and handed us to Brian Gingras whom turned about to be just as nice and knowledgeable. We are so happy with our truck and will absolutely go back there in the future. World Class Customer Service!James Beckman is terrific. He helped my wife and I get a great deal on a Used 4X4 F150. Negotiations were easy and we got a decent deal. He filled us up with a full tank of gas on our 36 gallon tank. Great service. Easy to work with and a very decent guy.Eric Silver is the general manager and also a very decent individual. I did not personally meet him but about a month after purchase my engine went out. Both James and Eric went out of their way to ensure I was taken care of. They lived up to their word on the 90 day warranty and then some. It sucked to deal with this issue, but for their part they did everything they could to make it right even for an out of towner like me.Ive had several friends and family buy from SM Ford (I used to be local) and they all have a good story to tell about being treated in an upstanding way.James and Eric are honest, easy to work with, and clearly they stand by their customers before AND after the sale. If I ever buy another Ford again it will ONLY be from these guys. Thank you both.

GO SOMEWHERE ELSE FOR SERVICE AND WARRANTY REPAIR!!! Their service department is God awful. Take your car somewhere else. I made an appointment for a service for what was an odd but felt like a very serious issue. It took them 3 business days to even bother looking at the car and diagnose that the issue was somewhere in the transmission, but NOT what was wrong with it. Then it took another 2 to 3 business days for them to even take the pan off of the bottom to find that there was a bigger issue than anticipated. Then after that it took ANOTHER 3 business days for them to get around to dropping the transmission to figure out what is actually wrong with it. Still no repairs have been done as of this writing. During this entire time I had little to no communication from the service department unless I called them and asked, they would go so far as to say they were going to call me back on certain days, not call, then sound irritated on the phone when I would call the next day checking in on the status of my vehicle, which the answer usually was we havent looked at it yet. I guess the appointment you make is just the opportunity that they might get around to looking at your car sometime before the weekend. The service department is either grossly understaffed to cut costs or they really just do not care that Ford customers are without their vehicle for long periods of time. I was told when I dropped it off that they do not offer loaners or rental cars then about 1 week into this whole ordeal I was finally offered to split the cost of one, which would have been great, if the offer had been made initially. I had already took time off of work to get another vehicle running again so it was moot at that point. From poor communication from the service advisor, to an either lazy or understaffed service department... the customer service I have received from this dealer would get 0 stars if I could.

Received a recall notice for the drivers side airbag for my Mustang. Made an appointment with Santa Maria Ford to exchange the part. I was assured that the part was in stock. Got there; no record of my appointment, no part in stock. They said it would be about 1 week and they would call. Three weeks later, no call, no part. From the receptionist, no hello, no please, no please wait, no thank you. The same for the parts manager. Were done! Bad reflection on the dealer and Ford Motor Co. Going elsewhere.

Im used to the central coast dealerships being pretty terrible because they are the only ones within 100 or so miles. I bought a Lincoln last year and got it serviced at Perry in SLO, which was a terrible experience and they didnt even report the service to Lincoln. So I decided to give the next closest dealership a try. Santa Maria, while being a 40 minute vs 10 minute drive from my house, is well worth the trip. Not only did the service advisor Patrick not beat around the bush, but actually offered a Lincoln loaner as they are supposed to according to my contract. Perry on the other hand, lied to me 3 times about getting a loaner which totally screwed up my business day.I had planned on not having one since I was about 45 miles from my office, but the fact that they sincerely offered one and actually had it on the paperwork was a HUGE plus. Their waiting area/customer lounge has plenty of seating, coffee and donuts, and a nice tv. The service took a bit longer than I had anticipated, but still reasonable. Their service price was also much better than Perry, even though it was the same service on the same vehicle. The only thing I have to complain about is that the wash job was not good, and they left all of the seat cover and floor covers from the mechanics in the car. But if you are getting your Lincoln vehicle serviced between SB and Monterey, this is your best bet by far.

So I have been a costumer for Santa Maria ford for several years this is by far the best service department of any local dealership! The communication between the advisors and myself have always been spot on! So the comments made below me probably have come from someone who hasnt even purchased their vehicle from Santa Maria ford nor have done business there! So before you listen to an impatient person who expects the dealership to drop everything for them and act like their vehicle is the only one in the shop, take it from me a real dedicated customer who enjoys the personnel, atmosphere and quality of work that Santa Maria ford provides. I had very pleasant experience when I purchased my vehicle and each and every time I have my vehicle in the service department, I have nothing but good experiences, from the service advisor to the manager! Very dishonest. I came in, agreed to a price on a car with the sales manager and the general manager who said well honor it. And then shook on it. Well 2 weeks later I get a call from the sales manager that they couldnt honor the agreed price and wanted to gon$2500 over and then accused me of lying and distorting the facts and was arguing with me over the phone. I cut that conversation short. The money isnt a big deal, but I do business with a handshake and your word. Neither of which they honored. Ive bought quite a few cars over the years and Ive met many genuine and honest people. These guys arent among them. Ill get my car somewhere else, but Im just more disappointed that you would still treat people this way especially in our little community.

I drive a Mercury so always head to SM Ford for my servicing needs as well as parts. Their service staff is always helpful and know just what to suggest for your vehicle. They offer free transportation if you dont want to wait for your servicing or repairs. They are on a frontage road just off of freeway 101. Currently there is a lot of construction going on so the easiest exit off of the freeway is Stowell and then head South on the frotage road.

The service manager is horrible. He claims he can tell the performance of a car just by riding in the passenger seat. He refused to drive the car. Everybody knows that to really feel how a car performs is to drive it yourself. You cant feel the gas pedal from the passenger seat. He kept saying he doesnt see an issue. Well duh, you refused to drive the car yourself. We took the car on the freeway. Everytime I do a quick acceleration onto the freeway, there is a distinct foul smell from the car. He claims he couldnt smell it. Just seems like the usual dealership trying to get out of doing warranty work. So I ask if theres another person with a better sense of smell that could drive the car. Nope. He refused that request and said I could take the car somewhere else. My car had an obvious issue with power, acceleration, and an obvious smell. This service manager was oblivious to all. He wouldnt even drive the car. Then he got all offended because I said either you cant smell or youre lieing about not being able to smell. Its one of the two. He got mad. Sometimes when people get so defensive, its because you hit some nerve of truth. This service manager sucks.

Went for an 80 dollar oil change on my ford 250 diesel, got a bill for 235 dollars,when i challenged the bill mr peck told me that he had the fuel filter changed out, which i never asked for nor did they return any parts both illegal. I complained to the b.o.a,the b.b.b and our local d.a they sent people there and were told that i signed for the extra work. Which of course i did,nt, i would gladly take a lie detector test.while there i spoke to two lndividuals who also had padded bills, i wont be going back to santa maria ford,ifyou do make sure y0u get a signed bill with all requests listed.they lost a good customer by illegaly padding. Warning: Bad Customer Service! Go somewhere else!Wasted an hour trip only to look at cars from the outside. All cars were locked and salesman acted inconvenienced when we asked to see inside. Im from Texas so me telling you this is a very respecful group means a lot. I havent bought a car here but since my car has a quarter of a million miles on it I have made more than a few trips to the service department. The people you need to ask for is Tom when you call, and Chris for your mechanic. Very knowledgeable group and always taking care of anything and everything Ive needed in a timely manner. Most of the time Im not even on the schedule because I dont have the time and I want it done ASAP, so they just take my car in the morning and work it in when they get the time. Chris is a very hard working mechanic and I always pick his brain about what hes doing. Lol im probably bothersom but me accepts my questions and always has known a answer or solution for me, so feel free to find out every detail about whats going on when you bring your car in for service.

I came in and was checking out a Fiesta and no one came to assist as I was wanting to go for a test drive. I walked in the building and saw 3 employees talking among themselves and stood by waiting for at least one to come over. They continued to talk knowing I was there ( I made eye contact with them) and didnt help me. They were behind a glass door in some office and I shouldnt have to walk in and ask for help.I thought salesman were supposed to be kind and come help you right away. All other dealerships are like that. Well they lost my business. Never had that experience before.
