Years ago, I found a Victorian style chair in the alley behind my Santa Monica apartment. It was covered in a puke-green-paisley fabric so I stored it in my guest bedroom as it made for a good spot for a visitor to place their luggage during a visit. Then, I went on a sustainable/low-carbon-footprint kick (a bit of an exaggeration) and decided to refurbish the chair and place it in my living room. A few blocks away on Wilshire and 19th Street was Centimeter Interior, just down the street from me, and a shop I had not placed a foot in since I moved to 19th Street in 1996. I made a few trips with photos and chatted about options with Amir, Shawn, and then on my last visit, with Vala, who had recently recovered from Covid. Vala helped me hone in on a masculine blue leather, guiding a final decision. I then carried the chair down the street to Centimeter like an Olympian, getting a great workout in the process. A few weeks later, Vala brought the beautiful finished product back up the street along with some excellent Covid advice, needed because, unfortunately, I had contracted it few days earlier. So, now I am juiced up about the chair, and juiced up with good advice about the benefits of hot tea, lemon, oregano oil, electrolytes, and why my below-normal temperature and no fever is the result of my body winning the Covid battle. I highly recommend Centimeter Interior, Amir, Shawn. and especially Vala!

Just had a set of rustic wooden chairs re-strapped by Centimeter Interior. They did a beautiful job. It was a pleasure to work with Vala on the project. He was very helpful and made sure the work was done properly and the chairs delivered back to us in a timely manner. I highly recommend them for any leather work you may need.

They took an antique pillow cover and followed my instructions thoroughly to produce a beautiful addition to my living room--and at the same time, preserved a priceless piece of special family history.

Seans service was one of a kind. Our outdoor cushions came out absolutely beautiful. He allowed us to take his sample books home to make our final decision on the fabric we wanted to use. Also, pickup and delivery was at no additional charge. Couldnt be happier!! My next project for Sean is to do my slipcovers.
