Amazing spot to meet up with a friend or two! Service was top-notch (AMAZING!) and food was excellent...coffee, not so much; but we are very particular about that!

The coffee and food is pretty good, but I got food poisoning from the salad.

The vibe lacks originality and they tend to be shoddy at keeping the front clean BUT, big but. i get cortados here about every week, and they are always made well ⚡⚡ i also really appreciate their app, which lets me order ahead - and it has a really good reward system. skip their drip coffee though, it needs work.

Hi- I went to Bluestone Lane with my daughter and the service was bad. The crew didnt acknowledge anyone. I mean at least say good morning or welcome 🤷 let us know if you have any questions...That should haven been my queue to leave.The lattes my daughter and I ordered were terrible the Macha latte was awful tasting. My daughters vanilla latte was not a vanilla latte whatsoever... what horrible coffee. We threw them out as I couldnt even doctor it up. Ended up ordering from Starbucks.What a waste.

I did liked it .. officer. I walked in a westerly direction from Wilshire into the establishment and proceeded to order in an orderly manner. The customer, a caucasian male in his late 30s or early 40s, was seen placing order for a croissant and caffeinated beverage. The food item in question was reported to be delicious and the pale brown coloured liquid was said to be, excellent. The venue is on the lookout for said customer at a later date as it was noted the customer is likely to return. The public is requested at this time to approach the venue at their leisure and report back on their positive observations...Aka its a bloody ripper mate!Update:Unfortunately this place lost a couple of stars after people mentioned the owner was a big trump supporter. SAD

Nice coffee and good toasts.The place is quite small and can get crowded, so only plan to go for a quick visit, not if you are looking for a place to stay and relax and have a slow breakfast.

Absolutely delicious coffee and avocado toast. I recommend getting the toast fully loaded, but even without toppings it is very well put together with the right amount of lime etc. They have a nice attention to detail here and it shows in the quality of food and drink.

Coffee is weak and for the price nope.Service is strange with the self help screen only. It will one day be all robot. Oh that’s a vending machine. The drip coffee was awful. I just threw it out. Wow. Not much worse than a bad cup of coffee from a cafe shop. Ugh

Great local corner coffee shop with decent prices for quality coffee and food! My friend and I ordered the chilaquiles, salmon with cream cheese on toast, cappuccino, and plain coffee. All very delicious and presented beautifully. Seating inside is generous so there is usually a place to sit even on a busy day. Staff is friendly and courteous, too. Would recommend over a basic Starbucks any day.

Bluestone Lane has become one of my go-to coffee spots as of late. Its a quaint little cafe with a couple of small benches inside and a huge community table on their patio. Hipster vibes and boho feels - exactly what youd expect from Santa Monica.MUST TRY: Cold brew and flavoured croissants. Their cold brew is amazing - straight up black. Its flavourful, bold, and doesnt need anything else. This is usually my go-to and it always gets me feeling pumped right after. Their beet latte is also quite interesting - apparently, its good for digestion. Besides the coffee, I absolutely adore the different croissants they have - the rose raspberry is my usual and I recently tried their lemon meringue - cinnamon sugar coating, lemon curd inside, topped with marshmallow-y meringue.For the most part, service is amazing. Super friendly, super helpful, super chill, and super quick service.

I had stopped to get doughnuts a few stores down from here and figured i would give it try. They were eco-friendly which I appreciate and they offered free water with little cups at no cost. However coffee wasnt all that. Over priced iced coffee but its Santa Monica.

One word...DELICIOUS! First time coming here with my hubby. I was looking for a yummy coffee shop in our area to have some late breakfast, and I cane across Bluestone Lane Santa Monica Coffee Shop. Like others before us, it took a second glance to find this hole in the wall.

I’ll start off by saying I’m a massive bluestone fan. I’ve been to about seven locations in three different cities, including two countries. Their oat milk lattes are THE BEST. I always grab a bag of espresso beans to bring home with me too (make that as many as will fit in my carryon). While I usually also love their food, this location was disappointing. I’m not sure if it was due to the pandemic but the avocado toast, which is my go to, was on regular toast, it wasn’t anything special. The inside of the store was also closed so we sat on the sidewalk - nice to have an option to sit, but it was on a busy street with homeless people outside … a common sight in California sadly. Coffee was 5/5 … food was 3/5.

Been to several locations on both coasts. This is a great place to start your day or bunch. The latte is my go to.

This coffee shop has some of the best coffee that you could love, no doubt about it for it has a perfect taste. They select the best beans around the world, profiled individually so that each cup is unique. The location is great, so you won’t be too far away from a freshly brewed coffee. You can invite all your friends here. Surely, they would love it!

Its not too sweet and the cakes have a nice texture. Excellent food for a low price. There are good vibes and good energy in the place.

Too bitter. Mocha doesnt taste like chocolate at all.

Came in here on a Tuesday afternoon for a pre-dinner snack. We wanted the avocado toast but they were out of avocado! Better to have then run out than go bad. We went with the salmontoast and werent disappointed. Will definitely come back!

I love bluestone lane!!!!! You can feel the Aussie spirit. The ice coffee w/ oat milk is so good. Best avo toast around and the smoothies and the avo toast again but add an egg and the salmon bowl wow 10/10

We live nearby and my girlfriend is from Melbourne so we were keen to try this place and Im happy to report it did not disappoint! Very friendly (and really Australian) Jack behind the coffee bar made me an awesome flat white and my girlfriend a delicious Milo! Well 100% be back.

Terrible custtomer service. Far, far better service at the Venice location. Ordered toast and flat white. When I ordered the toast from a young man at the counter, He asked what kind of toast, pointing to toast with avacado etc. on the menu. I said just toast He asked what did I want on the toast. I asked what my choices were. He said Jam, cream cheese, butter., honey . He seemed a bit put out, impatient with my questions. There was no one else in line so I am not sure why he was annoyed. . I explained I had not been to this particular location. I asked for jam. He said they were out of jam. Ugh! I asked for honey as it was listed on the menu as one of the condiments.Even the toast at the Venice location is better. I have been there twice and was servied two thick slices of delicious toast.Santa Monica, I was serviced one slice of bread.. A girl working there served me the toast and brought me a to go cup and container of honey and asked me how much honey I wanted. She stood there ready to pour honey from the plastic container in the to go coffee cup. I took the container and put the honey on my toast and returned the bottle to her. Toast, no napkin. I asked for sweetener for my coffee. She looked put out! She told me where I could go and get it myself. I got up went to the counter where she told me to go-got my sweetner, napkin and coffee lid. All good.On the flip side, I have eaten at the Bluestone in Venice, CA. The service was excellent. I ordered the same thing during both my visits. The wait staff were nice both times. Helpful. Answered my questions, without making me feel like I was a bother. Made conversation. Told me about the Bondi burger. Told me I should come back and have dinner. So pleasant!! Made me feel welcome and made me feel I would be welcomed again. . I was given ample toast, various condiments was available for my toast. Napkin was at the table so I didnt have to ask or fetch my own. LOL. I will go back to the Venice location again. Look forward to trying dinner there with my son
