Incredible RUDE STAFF. The skinny guy with tattoos, said my clothes were dirty and he wasnt going do buy them, although I just washed them. He then said you are welcomed to donate them!? I then told him why would I donate them, I thought they were too dirty for you and then he literally THREW MY CLOTHES ON THE FLOOR saying here ya go. I wish these guys had better management. Not planning to let this guy get away with it, going to complain all the way through the management chain regarding this rude behaviour.

Ive been to a lot of different Buffalo locations in the US and I think this is my favorite of the bunch. The two times Ive been I found some really great items.

The location is pretty busy, so expect to interact w other shoppers.Fun fact, when you lift your eyes up from merchandise and look around, everyone shopping / working there is always so stylish👌👌👌.The space is very large, two big rooms, shoes for miles (which i was looking for specifically), and racks and racks of clothes.I fell in love with a pair of virgin NASA orange VANS, and since I was out the door and late, their Security, Richard, offered to put them on hold for me. I give them 10 🌟 out of 10 🌟for customer service, just because of him.I had to leave behind a gorgeous pair of Michael Koors white sling backs, 😳 but agghh, you can’t have everything... but you can wish 🤪🤪🤪🤪❤️❤️❤️👌👌😂.So, I came back after work and got those, and another excitingly priced leather heels, oh yeah, this is always exciting 😍😍😍😍😍

Was in Buffalo exchange today in Santa Monica California. My first time there and the girl behind the counter Brenda with the green blue hair was very helpful considerate and nice. She walked me through the process of dropping off clothes. Explained everything and was very courteous and knowledgeable. Will definitely go back to that store again thank you Brenda!

Buffalo exchange is always great to shop at. You can find great used and new clothes. They can also buy clothes from you. Maybe my favorite thrift store really

It used to be really nice and affordable for very good condition clothes.Now it is more like good-will. Clothes are so old fashion. There used to be a lot of brand name clothes. It is a shame.

They aren’t honest when buying your clothes. The Manager Callie didn’t show me everything she was buying so it seemed like a good deal. I get home I notice shoes were missing that I wasn’t aware of them taking any shoes she never showed me them. When I called Callie was extremely rude didn’t offer to solve the problem. I won’t be coming back to this store. I’m super sadden that this happened. Totally a sketchy experience.

Very quick, friendly, and efficient. No, they didnt buy anything of mine, but given the location I could instantly see that this was very much geared towards t shirts and super casual beach wear, skate clothing, and some gym clothing. Parking was simple and they validate for 90 minutes. The staff was informative and they didnt low ball on any items. They just said that name brands of designer conservative clothing (Boss/ Ted Baker) would never move in this store. They referred me to other stores in the valley or OC that may be a buyer. If you are buying casual clothes, the store is full of inventory. They have no shortage of supply as there were people lining up as sellers while I was there. Prices are reasonable. Hey, if they dont buy, you have 90 minutes. Grab a drink or something to eat. Great location

No shoes, no service, lol. They refused to sell me anything because I was barefoot. It’s so weird and no polite. I felt very uncomfortable when lady asked me leave the store because I had no shoes.

I honestly dont understand why a lot of people are getting upset while selling their clothes. If you come here and expect to get 100 $ back on your designer jeans, then your expectations are off. If you come here with clothes you are no longer wearing, wont wear in the future and basically take up space in your closet, it is great to receive some money or credit store (because I rather have a fabulous pair of new shoes I want to wear all the time, than a closet piling out of clothes I dont want to wear). I also think their pricing is quite reasonable and my experience with buyer Sofia was wonderful. Dont be offended when they dont take all of your clothes, just donate them in the container behind them and all is good.

Love this place! Its more like a retail store than a thrift store. The clothes are clean and dont smell gross. Great quality brand name clothing and shoes. I picked up a few shirts originally from stores that I could never afford to shop at, a sweet lambskin leather jacket, and a pair of barely worn Doc Martens all for a little more than $100! This is gonna be my go-to place in the future!

Personally, Ive never tried to sell my clothes. However, I read reviewers who tried and claimed that they only accept vintage stuff. Funny because the store itself(this particular location) does not have even have a lot of vintage stuff. All their clothing is from average stores like American eagle or GAP and I wonder who would buy it from the thrift store if you can easily purchase a new pair of jeans for almost the same price?I usually go to thrift stores to find unique pieces I cant find in average clothing store and this place is not about it at all.Do not recommend if you like vintage apparel. Do recommend if you want to save couple of bucks and get old, smelly zara dress or gap shirt.

Misleading Advertising! Waited for 30 minutes with over 30 articles of clothing plus accessories for nothing! The website says the best of all seasons, all year long yet the seller told me that I had too many spring and light fabric clothing. I wouldve been able to accept this, except that the seller also refused to take any winter clothing as well. In fact, she wouldnt take a single item. The website also says Everyday staples like Jeans, T-shirts and Button-Ups; Dresses; Shoes; Sweaters and Jackets; Shorts and Skirts; Designer; Vintage; Jewelry; Costumes; and Athletic Wear. yet I brought in jeans, shorts, a belt, purses, tank tops, long-sleeve shirts (definitely winter-appropriate), many skirts and tons of dresses (some were even Vera Wang and some were long-sleeve aka winter-appropriate). One dress was even a $115 dress from Nordstrom - never worn, with the tag still attached. At least 1/3 of my items still had the tag and had never been worn. Nothing was damaged or stained. Basically, the only item I didnt bring in, was any jackets and coincidentally, thats the only item the seller told me they could use.

I found a beautiful blouse but it had under arm stains, in retrospect,. I dont think it really should have been for sale and certainly not for $20. I took it home to wash it in delicate soap & cold water. It fell apart. When I brought it back, 2 days later, they refused to return it. Ive shopped at thrift stores for years and never experienced this. Buyers beware. Returns are not easy and dont happen. Wont return to the store. Good luck!

We love buffalo exchange! We visit in every city we can find one and are never disappointed in what we find. The staff was friendly and the selection was wide! I bought the most gorgeous pair of Prada men’s boots that retail for more than $800 for only $60. Very happy!

Discrimination I went in for an interview at the buffalo exchange in Santa Monica for security surveillance I went for 3 interviews they like me so they offered me the job then I get a call last Saturday saying that they are not going forward with me they picked somebody else which made NOOO SENSE U OFFERED ME THE JOB I KNOW I PASSED THE BACKGROUND CHECK AND EVERYRHING SO WHATS THE EXCUSE FOR ME NOT GETTING THE JOB? I am sooo upset

I used to love going here! Would sell and buy all the time but not anymore. If you want to sell avoid going when the guy with long hair is buying he is a complete snob about clothes even though Ive sold a lot with the other buyers. So I dont go back anymore :(

Selection is better than most, prices fair. Well kept, pretty much like all Buffalo Exchanges are: a big cut above the charity shops, not as slick as the designer resale shops, but always something for everyone. Helpful, friendly, knowledgeable staff.

Rating as a seller - I think their process of going through your stuff is quick and efficient and makes it easy to make the trek over with all your stuff. Even if there’s 4-5 people in line it will only take 15 or 20 mins to get an answer on your stuff.

This consignment store has a men and womens area. The lines are long for selling (as usual for a consignment store). Ive seen some things priced really well and things priced way too high. It is a hit or miss. I like to look through and pick out funky things. During halloween they sell second hand costumes and new ones too.. although they keep the price high.

My go to place for quality second hand clothing. Always find good deals when Im looking and great deals when Im not.

It was nice to see fine cloths, but the prices were a little high in some a clothings. But in general it was organized, clean and most of the clothings seem lightly use and new.
