Soteris is a great instructor that gave me a great expereince diving with him. I started with some fun freediving sessions and ended up doing the AIDA 3 star certification with him (where I got a lot of small tipps for improvement). Soteris did really go the extra mile all the time in being very focused to give me as a customer a great experience. We did not only have nice dives together, but also had a lot of great conversations. I can only recommend this school (and Soteris) to have a few nice fun dives, some training sessions and AIDA certifications.

My partner and I had a great experience getting scuba certified for open water diving with In2Deep. John Lumb (Jr and Sr) were great instructors. Everyone at the shop was wonderful. Would highly recommend.

Great local dive shop, much much better than any of the other dive shops within a 25 mile drive. Super helpful, friendly and knowledgeable staff. High quality dive gear, reasonably priced. Excellent quality instruction. Very social as well, with free monthly dive club meetings. There seem to be a number of different reviews, all recent by people with exactly three reviews, that are less than 5 stars and reference people who dont work at In2Deep, or in one case, a pool location In2Deep doesnt use for confined water training. All I can guess is that some of the other dive shops in the area are trying to lower In2Deeps rating with less than 5 star reviews, because In2Deep is such a great dive shop and everyone is going here instead of other dive shops. I suggest anyone reading the less than 5 star reviews look at web sites for other dive shops in the area, see who their staff names are, and figure out for themselves where everyone is leaving to go to In2Deep!

I cant figure out how In2Deep could provide a better experience as a dive shop. Their customers become family. The combination of quality gear for sale and rental, expert advice, outstanding instruction, service beyond expectations, and a huge variety of dive trips would be very hard to top. When you sign up for a trip - either locally or across the world, their team will be on the trip too. It is so much more fun to go with people you know. If you want to learn to dive, choose In2Deep to teach you well and then be there to keep you enjoying the sport for decades. I work in public safety and was required to get my rescue diver certification and dry suit certification on short notice. I called around to MANY dive shops asking to get my certifications ASAP even pointing out that I understand if they have to charge me more for private classes. Every dive shop I called would not accommodate my time frame. In2Deep bent over backwards to help me. Amazing customer service. Can’t thanks them enough. The vibe in the shop is more of a family then a business, which is great. Highly recommend.

This shop is a breath of fresh air -- no pun intended! The staff is so knowledgeable and friendly and the atmosphere is not hectic and rushed. The best is, they dont push you hard on sales and they really listen to your needs, while still educating you.We recently did a small intimate excursion with them and it was the best boat experience my dive buddies and I have had. We felt well looked after, comfortable, and safe.I cant recommend them enough!

This is a family owned business, Mom and son, and they are awesome if you are a new diver, or have children learning. You might find a cheaper facility, but you wont find a safer environment.When my son wanted to learn to dive, I decided to do it alongside him because I had a lot of anxiety about scuba. My son did awesome, and he recieved a ton of 1 on 1 attention. I myself am claustrophobic, have a fear of drowning, and many sea creatures. I know I was grouchy, unreasonable and panicked a lot. But no one made my fears seem stupid. Everyone was so kind and incredibly patient. We actually live in San Diego County (Carlsbad) and it is Worth The Drive! We wont dive with anyone else.

Had such a wonderful experience using In2Deep for get my PADI open water qualification. They really went above and beyond, and made the experience seamless and enjoyable. The staff were all very knowledgeable and took their time making me feel comfortable with the whole process!!

I started diving fairly recently (a little over a year) and have done everything through in2Deep: courses, equipment and trips (boat dives and Catalina). In2Deep gave us great advice about what dive shop to go to in Hawaii. At this time I am a Divemaster candidate and I wish to thank everyone at the shop for an amazing experience. The shop excels at creating a diving community, there are many divers at many levels and it is always satisfying to be diving with familiar faces, all friendly, as well as meeting new friends. John, Jr. and Nick are incredible instructors, my wife and I (she has been diving with me the entire time) always joke about those two having gills and 360 degree vision! We started diving in our 60s and Nick and John, Jr. were always supportive and despite our early struggles, we felt that they were rooting for us. They emphasized our initial early successes and always kept us safe. We always were happy to return and improve our performance and get feedback. Diving has been a blessing in the days of Covid, we are diving most weekends and in2Deep has provided the platform to learn diving, continue diving and be better divers- always fun, always educational. Carrie is awesome both at the shop and as an instructor, Tim is great fun and a great teacher (Carrie, Nick and Tim are the owners). My memories of diving all day in Catalina or on the Giant Stride and then hanging out with our new friends over a good meal are priceless. Best. ScubaExperience. Ever.

In2deep is the best in high-end, personal service dive shops. Carrie and Nick are the best in having the best gear in the world available and the most friendly service and classes at the same time. Everyone should pamper themselves with a class and exciting adventure here! Several places now crossed off my bucket list for sure!

Excellent shop + world class instructors. I cant say enough good things about my experience while getting my Open Water Certification. Top flight gear, plus instruction that exceeded all my expectations. Nick, John and Katie were extremely professional, thorough, and good fun to be around. All my dives/testing were done with tremendous confidence on my part because of how they teach. If youre within 400 miles and considering getting certified or moving up to a specialty, they are worth the trip!

Great place to go for scuba lessons (certification, refresher, specialty classes). Tim & Carrie are wonderful - very knowledgeable, friendly, explain everything well and are fun to hang out with. The shop is great and has everything you didnt even know you needed. Great customer service - friendly, helpful advice - without any pushiness. Whether youre an expert or a novice - its a great place.
