Horrible teller. Was very rude and disrespectful. He spoke in a very soft voice and was bothered to do his job. I asked a couple of question and he seemed to be bothered by that too. Don’t come here unless you want to be treated poorly and proposed horrible exchange rates. Overall, a poor experience. The teller’s attitude just rubs in the poor exchange rates even more. The teller never mentioned the Best Exchange Rate Guarantee either. The teller needs to be consulted or fired immediately. Do better.
I went to exchange some currency for a trip and the teller spoke in a soft voice, making it extremely difficult to hear anything, and seemed to be bothered to do the job of ordering currency (Euros, AED) that were not in stock, saying that “he’s not in charge of ordering.” Not helpful at all. When the order came in it was all big bills (100s, 50s), not appropriate for tips, and the teller resisted trying to get more bills, saying he was off the clock. This agency also doesn’t have a policy of re-buying bills back like other exchange places, which I didn’t know until later. I’d suggest going somewhere else.
Music made it hard to hear but teller was nice and helped me with my questions. Good place to stop with better rates than the airport
Bad exchange rate + commission.Bad attitude teller
When I fly into LA from Australia I head straight to Santa Monica to exchange my Aussie dollars for US$. Best rates Ive found for cash exchange. Easy to find, easy to park, quick & efficient. Plus you can get a nice meal in the same building.
Bad service. Rude cashier
Very nice and efficient service, but beware!! - when you use a credit card they may charge it as a cash advance without telling you. For most people this adds 15-20% to the cost of exchange in unexpected bank fees. So bring cash or use a debit card.Update- they called to apologize that this happened. Very kind of them. Charges still stand however.
I came in to exchange some Canadian currency for American. The teller was very quick, efficient, and made small talk. No complaints!
The exchange rate was okay... not great and they charge a fee to make a change. There’s another place a 5 min walk away with better rates and no fees
I exchanged €/$. The worst exchange rate and the highest fee I experienced in LA (their fee are even higher than those applied at LAX).
Always had plesent experiences here. Will be back soon.
Gave us old, unusable Hungarian bills. Unbelievably poor business practice.
Is it open or not?!?!
Worked fine
