Im new in town and live across the street from Pops. I have a 1989 chevy g20 van that failed smog and has started to die if I slow down or come to a stop. I changed a list of things with no change. Gas pump and filter, map sensor, pvc etc... Ill report back and let you know if they deserve my business. Theres 6 its I already replaced. It needs a tune up. Im a Google Guide look me up and follow me to get the low down...Took a while but I did go to Pops! Hands down this shop and all the mechanics that helped in working on my van are top notch! In fact I would have driven from Simi to Santa Paula just to get their service. It took them one day to diagnose and fix the problem with my van. They even got it to legally pass smog. I felt welcome and Im not sure but would bet its a family owned shop. I didnt want to leave I felt so welcome by all of them. Im never this lucky. Now when Im stopped at a red light I have to really listen... its so quiet I think it died🙂 its like NEW! Well worth the price. See you guys soon.. not to soon though...

This guy is a crook. He is not a mechanic and his staff is highly questionable. I repeatedly told the owner Manny something is wrong with the motor in my RV, he just keeps saying bring it back we will get it dialed in. After three attempts, the motor--a fresh rebuild blew up on me. I am out 8 grand. DO NOT use his services, or could end up highly disappointed too
