Their forest mulch is of very inconsistent quality. I usually order at least three 15 yard loads of forest mulch per year. The sample in the office shows a fairly fine mulch consisting order of small pieces of shredded plant and tree material. In the last year I’ve received two loads that were of poor quality, full of large chunks of wood and debris. I would suggest that anyone wanting to order soil or mulch products from WZ actually inspect the material before you order. I won’t be ordering from them in the future.

Excellent place to evaluate different rock choices. Paver stone and natural stone also available along with examples and pamphlets. But as far as help and answering questions goes, it greatly depends upon whom you talk to. Some employees are very knowledgeable, others, not so much.

Always been remarkably helpful and even the guys in the large machines are experts. My last visit in I needed fill dirt, saw the mix they had and even after agreeing to it, they called out a scoop of fresher material and asked if Id prefer that. Always excellent, always professional.

This place is fantastic! I was doing a fairly large landscaping project. I needed to buy Flagstone, Stone Veneer, Soil and ready-mix concrete. These guys had everything. They even fabricated a beautiful stone fireplace surround for me. Do yourself a favor and save yourself the time trouble of going elsewhere.

I use WZ because they are close to my home, they have a huge selection, and the drive with a loaded trailer is fairly quick and easy. The staff is usually very friendly and helpful. I wish that they would use a scale to charge you for materials instead of relying on the number of yards that you order, I feel that the measurements for the materials are inconsistent and never works in the favor of the consumer.

The staff was really knowledgeable and walked my wife and i through the whole process of installing a natural stone patio in our new house in Rohnert Park. we even put in a nice little veggie garden with their soil for the little ones. a great experience, fun project and saved a ton in contractor costs. well be back
