Nice enough retail store, neat and well stocked. Could not get anyone to assist with my needs (Trex) and was directed to the “yard” where I was directed by a fellow driving a forklift. Upon returning to Customer Service for a second time, I was informed that they did not have the product, but it could be ordered . This is after I was told by Mark that there was material in stock ready for purchase. Big waste of time. Will go elsewhere.

My dad works there and its great its been in business for a super long time and he enjoys it just as much as the customers

Unparalleled selection of lumber and hardware and from my experience friendly and the most knowledgeable (and mature ) staff Ive experienced (surprised others did not have the same experiences). I just dont shop there for much electrical, plumbing and other trades materials.

Mostly a good lumber store with a good selection. Will not return though because of rude employees. One had insulted me for my choice of wood and for other purchases I made. Went by the name “Drew”. Very rude and insulting and I hope he gets fired because of how he treats customers, which poorly represents the company in which he works

Bought 7 thousands dollars worth of doors from them, and they said they would deliver inside the house. When they they showed up for delivery they wouldnt bring them in the house. When I buy stuff from other providers they deliver the product as agreed when it was bought. I would not trust them again to deliver as promised.

Mead Clark is truly a Sonoma County treasure. 109 years they have been the standard of quality for all your home improvement needs. Lumber, far more and of better quality than any Big Box store, domestic, imported, s4s, t&g, door frames, doesnt matter if its Firsts and Seconds or a stud they can custom cut it too. The tool department carries the top of the line tools, Bosch, Festool, Makita, Milwaukee and Kreg. Youre sure to find whatever you need here, and they are local, support veterans, and they deliver.

Very disappointed, we went there to get items we had gotten before. None are carried now, so sad that they are carrying the same generic brands as everyone else.Guess we will have to get elsewhere, probably online, (hate that). Too bad.

Everyone who works here is and has always been extremely helpful and courteous. I have shopped here for 31 years and have never been disappointed. They always have what you need and more.

I have been shopping here since I started in the trades 25 years ago. Great local lumber yard that has everthing! Their window and door dept. Is very good. This is a true contractors lumber yard.

I went with my dad once who works construction to buy some supplies we walk up to the cashier to only be greeted by an extremely racist old white guy who obviously seemed to have a problem with us for being latino. All my father did was grab our items and went to a different cashier where we were treated respectfully and professionally

The true cost of convenience and why America is imploding. This store is down the street from my house. As s home owner I am constantly needing to pick up materials for various tasks that arrise sporadically. I dread going to this store. The employees are absolutely horrible to any outsider of whatever dumbed down version of Eyes Wide Shut - the construction episode clique bull$->t thats available to Santa Rosa, CA.THIS IS WHY JEFF BEZOS WINS. Going to a store now a days is excruciating and the experience at this store is one of the worst. The employees cant be bothered are rude and poorly managed and I dread going in there.

An example of excellent customer service .Initially i contacted another store about oz posts. That other store failed miserably in more then 1 respect. Well, times up and i have to use them on thu and today is tue. Many phone calls later, i did find Mead Clark online. Contacted them, and they were able to help. People i spoke on the phone knew what i was talking about, did their best to help me and returned phone call within minutes . Basically they were on top of things and that what you need if you want to depend on a supplier.

More for the trade or commercial but willing to serve retail. You do need to know what you want though. I worked for two separate contractors over a 40 year time span who had to send truck-load sized orders back for quality problems.

I’ve lived in Santa Rosa for eight years now and every time I come here I wonder why I did. I like to support local hardware and lumber stores thinking that they’ll have more personal customer service, but Mead Clark is more expensive, has less stock and they all talk to you like you are annoying them with your presence. They’re the only place that sells Festool products around here, so I guess I’ll be using amazon instead. They always try to sell me the display tool also. Like I wanna buy a $1,500 tool that has had hundreds of people playing with it for months.1/22/19Just had another fun encounter with the tool department. I went in to buy another Festool saw and they forced me to buy a track for it which is against Festool’s policy. The guy had an “I don’t give a f***” look on his face while he told me that if I wanted a tool I’d have to pay an extra $100. He said to take it up with the guy who runs the tool department, Art. Where’s Art? He won’t be back til tomorrow. ART’s the same guy who said they’d be stocking Whiteside router bits “next month” three years ago. They don’t have them still.
