These guys are the best! I called in looking for a wireless microphone setup with a small mixer that would interface with my home audio system and could also be portable if needed. Nick pieced together the most perfect setup I could imagine and had it ready to demo when I arrived! The versatility of the Boss RF wireless mic transmitter is insane. It turns any mic wireless in seconds and has a great range. The Yamaha mixer was ideal and came with a couple adjustable real time effects (reverb/echo). Picked up a new SE Electronics dynamic microphone too which sounds great! We drew out the setup and got the correct cables and I was live in minutes once I got home. Thanks Nick bro!!!

Its really a great thing to visit a music store in person and not online or a mega chain store. Super friendly staff and encourage you to to try out an instrument before you buy. I purchased a large bass cabinet from the Santa Rosa location and they had it transferred to the San Rafael store to make it easier to get from the peninsula. They were very accommodating.

After playing nearly every non-full size acoustic guitar they had in there settled on a Taylor Baby to accompany my Martin D-18. Very knowledgeable and friendly staff. Competitive price.

Hadnt been to Santa Rosa since before the fires. In the months since, this Bananas store moved from its Ross St space to a new location that is bigger and has more space and a better parking situation. The crew is as friendly and helpful as always. The dedicated in-store Fender Shop is a nice addition, too.

Nick was about the best and funniest salesperson I have ever met. He was super helpful, tested everything and then gave me the best possible price. Well worth the visit. Much better than having bought online with no one to explain how the equipment works.

This is a very nice music store with a large selection of both acoustic and electric guitars, drums, amplifiers, keyboards, and other music equipment. They have a good staff that that takes time to help you find what you need and they have quiet rooms to play in so you can hear the instrument youre trying out.

Great customer service, with knowledgeable staff. I went in more than six months ago and looked at keyboards. The staff remembered me and answered all of my questions. I got exactly what I wanted and was out the door in under an hour.

We bought my six year old sons Yamaha GL1 Guitalele here after looking at a bunch of instruments. Jesse was the guy who helped us out, he was patient and informative and got us settled in with the right instrument and lessons. We are both very happy with the experience.

Went to bananas at large today and had a great experience there. The staff help each other as a team and treat their customers with respect. There was a brand-new employee there on his first day and he was just top-notch all the way. I love having a local music store that rivals the huge chain music stores. This music store had everything from beginning on up to Pro equipment. Names like Fender, Paul Reed Smith Taylor, Mesa Boogie and Marshall are to be found here! Definitely felt like falling into a Gold Mine with this place which has something to offer everyone from Beginner to Novice to Pro. What a great place! We took a used bass we had just acquired in for a tune up, thinking wed have to leave it - may $50-$70. The guy at the counter looked at first and gave us some DIY recommendations, for free. They clearly could have made some money off us but, instead gave us some honest good information.I took a look around and they have a lot gear. I always admire music stores that carry banjos, and not just crappy ones. They had a couple nice ones, which was a good sign. I look forward to going back there soon.
