I Put a rifle on consignment there in the beginning of the pandemic. Apparently it was sold a few months later but I was never informed. One year later I go to pick up said rifle and was informed it was sold. They gave me a check that day but I feel like some shady stuff was going on knowing now that no one would contact me about it’s sale.
Great place and great people here! 👍. The team especially Skyler is always very knowledge.
These guys have done a great job. Skyler and Brian and owner are top notch with helping you.
Went here to start my gun buying experience. It was fairly easy to get what I needed. The team was helpful and quick with answers. It doesn’t feel like the most inviting environment but overall I got what I needed. They have many firearm options. And safety equipment. Don’t be shy drop in and see what’s up.
Top notch. During this “pandemic” I’d been having a hard time finding a rifle that was in distribution. Had even been in a game of cat and mouse with an order I placed for this rifle and it’s delivery date. I called Rinkor per a friends recommendation. Sure enough, Rinkor has it. I get up there in record time thanks to no traffic and within 20 minutes of paper work and friendly conversation I had the rifle pending the 10 day. These guys are doing a great job with holes in a supply chain and customers who know exactly what they want. I don’t say it much...but atta boy Rinkor. I’ve been to a couple gun shops in my time and their game is on point.
Gun business must be REALLY good because since the pandemic slightly lifted I have not had such terrible service. Ive had worse in the past but the salesman I got stuck with could not give less of a hoot about helping me! One word answers and a lack of even slight regard for what I was looking for. I dont fault the business for not having much in stock...Supply & demand I can understand. Q:Would I be able to get an AR platform? ... A: Not here (walks away). They had ammo for a 9mm that wasnt target practice ammo so I guess that counts for something. If I didnt absolutely need the TUIs I got, I would have walked out without buying anything. I will drive 100 miles out of the way instead of going back to this place. Thanks for the cold service guys!!
Great service, best selection, best arms store in Northern California,,,the guns are battle ready 🤓
I had a positive experience with Rinkor Arms. I had a FFL transfer from Budsgunshop.com sent there. I wish the transfer fees werent so high but very satisfied.
The staff at Rinkor Arms really helped me through the process of getting my first gun. They made me feel comfortable and respected my “ newness” .Many thanks to the staff and I’m looking forward to coming in for my ammo needs as well!Randy
My wife and I both got our FSC here and were able to make a purchase smoothly. They also practiced social distancing during the quarantine. What I didnt like was feeling lied to.Now with the gun crazy times where everyone IS buying everything up for the apocalypse, I understand stocks go low and things fly off the shelves.Short story, I tried buying 9mm ammo like a ton of others and one employee told me they were out. After purchasing a handgun from another employee, he was able to get me a box of 50...Perhaps they werent on the same page or they were only selling x amount per day but I was still a little annoyed that I felt mislead.edit: since this initial review I have made 3 more purchases and all three went smoothly. They were also able to order me a few different types of magazines and ammo.
I recently took a Rinkor Arms training course. The instruction was professional, subject specific, and proceeded quickly and clearly from beginning safety, legal information, emergency medical treatment, to practical and tactical skill development. The instructors were extremely knowledgeable and courteous and most of all, patient. I was by far the least experienced of the group and they made certain I got the training I needed to safely and proficiently use the firearm. Not to mention it was great fun. I will be taking all their classes in the future and I recommend you do as well.
Friendly and knowledgeable staff!
Bought my first firearm here. They are straight to the point and they are really helpful to any newbies with questions
Really great service, very helpful and patient. Just purchased my very first hand gun. If you got any questions they are willing to educate you on the subject that you might not know about.
Great place. No matter who you talk to, they always answer questions no matter how newbie they might be very professional and polite. Very friendly and very helpful. Great shop, great staff.
Clean professional atmosphere. Knowledgeable and friendly staff. Never super busy so no wait time to be helped. Great products.
Great service. Straight forward friendly staff. They offer a great selection of used firearms and the best of the best new gear.
Great staff. Great used weapon selection. Range ammo is priced fair. This place beats any other weapons supply shop within a 30 mile radius. Worth it.
Constantly hang up on you when you try to call.
Im not sure why these guys have a phone every time you call they say please hold and never come back to answer phone these guys suck at phone calls
Great store. Friendly staff who are very knowledgeable. Already looking forward to the next purchase. J
Worst customer service Ive ever experienced
My experience at Rinkor Arms has been consistently very positive. We have purchased multiple firearms from here, handled and researched many more, and continue to make Rinkor Arms a regular stop for us. Their staff is professional and knowledgeable, and their selection of new and used guns is very good (especially for Sonoma County).Shopping for guns, or even being a gun owner, in many parts of California (Sonoma County included) can be challenging to begin with. In some instances, this repression of firearm culture has caused gun stores to become tense and uncomfortable places, even for gun owners, which is why I choose to shop at Rinkor Arms. The environment here is 100% of the safety and professionalism that should accompany something as serious as firearm sales, with 0% of the macho B.S. that often comes along for the ride. None of the sales associates look like their straight out of Solider of Fortune magazine ... just exactly the type of honest and friendly service youre probably looking for when youre out looking to buy a gun (or ammo or accessories or just looking or whatever.)The easiest comparison I can draw is that going to Rinkor feel much more like going to a gun shop in Nevada or Arizona, and if youre at all familiar with what firearm ownership and gun culture is like in California and elsewhere, youll know exactly how big of a compliment that is.
Good selection of firearms. I always buy my guns here.
Friendly and knowledgeable staff provide a great environment to buy or sell any type of firearm.
Friendly staff. Large selection of arms(new and used). Good location.Ammo prices will never be what we want them to be.
Fast friendly and knowledgeable service
Best Gun store in Santa Rosa. Great customer service as well as pricing. Always willing to help out.
The guys know their stuff almost always greeted as soon as you walk in .. Best prices in town .. And they will go outta the way to help you find why your looking for .. Steve is the man !
Great Shop
Tho I have been a loyal customer in the past I recently had an experience that led me to decide to never bring my business back here.About three weeks ago I went into the shop and was dealing with a younger salesman. I had some questions about the availability of a new product to the market. He was very helpful and enthusiastic. In fact they had just received three units of the rifle I question. He was more than happy to show me the only one that had been unboxed. I actually knew a bit more about the rifle, and gave him a run down on it. All I all the type of interaction I had come to know and expect at rinkor. But then. . .I got my ducks in a row a couple weeks later and headed down to purchase said rifle. Upon arriving I was met by a salesman Id seen a few times before but never dealt with ( dont know his name, roughly 56, bald, as far as I know the oldest salesmen there). When I asked if they had any of the rifle still in stock he became rather rude and said no. Then told me in a gruff manor that he didnt even know the rifle I was asking about. I explained it again as there are more than one common name for said rifle. No, we dont have that and we never have. I was obviouslya bit taken aback by that and explained that I had been in earlier and knew they had had it. At this point he as good as called me a lier, in front of another customer who was looking for the same rifle, and had been told they did in fact have one (according to him the only reason he had made the drive from Windsor). The salesman continued too be rude and when I directly told him I had stood just feet away and held one he again told me that I had not and that I was making it up.All in all I call B.S. its one thing if they were out of stock, but calling a customer a liar is a new kind of bull.So f* this store, and mostly f* that salesman. Ill gladly take my business elsewhere. On a side note, big 5 was happy to order me the rifle over the phone.
Great service, amazing staff. Best experience I have ever had purchasing a firearm.
Really a great crew here. Would recommend them to anyone looking to buy a firearm in Santa Rosa.
Good prices, good selection of guns and lots of different accesories tgat are great for all skill levels
Great store the only problem was 9mm 115g fmj ammo cost about $7.00 more then sport store for a box of 50 rounds.
Shop is nice but the owner refuses to do private party transfers on tons of firearms that are CA Legal which is illegal for an FFL to do... Very disappointed....Very annoying shops should be looking to help firearms enthusiast but they just want money
Very helpfully people. But the prices are s bit much for the ammo. BUT Id go again :)
Zero stars for these bozos,, never again thanks for nothing steve s I know what the s stands for and it dont smell good
Mixed experiences, some of the staff are friendly and some of them are rude and impatient.
This place is great. Only firearm dealer I go to.
Bryan and the crew are both knowledgeable and friendly. Rinkor is my go to LGS.
Brian and the crew are great and know their stuff. Great pricing and selection from our ever dwindling availability in CA.
Great staff, high quality inventory, and the store is filled with patriots.
Nice selection of consignment arms, but customers for the locksmith shop have to walk through the store and are bewildered by the racks of firearms.
Great staff, well stocked, very knowledgeable!
Very Nice and helpful staff!
