What can I say... its Home Depot, they have lots of beautiful things for your home improvement projects. My experience with their service is polarized, sometimes youll get a very helpful informative person and other times they act as is Im interrupting something way more important than me and they cant wait to shake me off to get back to it.

I like shopping in this home depot i think is more organized and stocked but when i ask a employee for help or trying to get there attention they turn the other way and the ones that i get to ask for help they have a attitude now this is the Males i have no issues with females workers

Prices too high. Has incomplete for sale. This had the tool and the pole but not the bracket that holds them together. Some staff...not in concrete but in power tools are not knowledgeable in the tool or blades they are selling.Next time I need something I am headed to Lowes

Not a good trip. Went to do a Propane exchange. Paid in advance waited 20 minutes.. another 5 minutes of searching only to be told all their exchange tanks where empty. Had to go back inside and wait in line another 19 minutes to get a refund which took 3 business days to show up on my credit card account. Only good thing thst came out of this was that afterwards, I went down the street to Lowes and was able to get an exchange there for a dollar less. Go figure!

I dont recommend ordering any appliances from the Home Depot in Santee! Especially from Danette Cirellol. They will take your payment in advance and tell you a delivery date; then postpone that date for weeks on end, without the courtesy of a phone call. If you try to get a refund, they will not refund anything until the items have arrived in the warehouse. Home depot over promises and under delivers. Their employees and managers have poor customer service skills and could care less about the customers. I will never waste my time shopping there again.

I tried to order an item on line and just couldnt get it to go through. So plan B. Call the store and see if they even have the item. Yes! Different price and different combination of items for price point. Plan C. Go to store and purchase separately. Silver lining and big win! This is an older location in Santee. Im giving this location three stars for several reasons. They do not have a Tap and Pay feature at the registers, the staff was pretty slim, and compared to the newer Home depots their garden department is really not that nice.

I would caution anyone who orders an appliance on-line from this Home Depo they use a delivery company called Temco Logistics. First we purchased a dishwasher for our daughter as a mothers day gift. It was installed with a huge dent in the front, then they were supposed to send a replacement gave a date to deliver with no call no show. We have been calling, and after several calls we are told they cant find it. What a joke. Spent 1 K on an appliance and we have to do all the follow up. If you look at the reviews for Temco they are all 1 star or less. Shame on home depo. I will be writing to the CEO who needs to know what is truly going on at the field level and the incompetence we have had to deal with.

Whats not to like? Tons of parking. Conveniently located. Everything you need for anything to do with home stuff. Friendly staff that you can actually find when you need something. My favorite Home Depot.

I wish i had caught her name, but there was one lady who approached us and asked if we needed any help and was incredibly helpful and so nice when we were looking at kitchen counter tops and needed some samples. Santee has a better selection of lumber than El Cajon but, the parking lot and checkout lanes are horrible.

I usually do not give 5 stars to home depot, everytime I look something up on my phone and see what isle it is on, it is never there. However they get 5 stars today! I took back a milwaukee chainsaw that broke on me after 5 days and they exchanged it with no questions asked. I felt like I was at Costco or something.

I started my day just hoping to continue to feed a dream I have had for over 25 yrs! I was looking for a She-shack/shed. From the minute we began to look at the Tuff sheds we were politely offered help by “Tom”. He answered all my questions without me feeling like I was being pressured! He is the reason we then met with Kathy Bacon. I was sold!! And then, because I was paying cash ( I had hidden away and slowly built over years) I had to go inside. My whole experience was perfectly capped off by getting to be checked out at the Pro-desk by Sales cashier Kimberly (according to my receipt) and who I believe was her supervisor - she recounted the cash to verify the amount. They celebrated the moment with me and were so kind!! Who ever is doing the hiring of employees like these four is doing an amazing job!! I’m very pleased with every aspect of this day!

The just bought the M12 jigsaw used curbside pickup for the first time cuz Im being lazy theres a kid sitting outside and he was quick didnt even have to send a text and then I realized I had to go in anyways because it doesnt come with a blade unbelievable

I went to The Home Depot to have a duplicate key remade for my 2006 Jeep wrangler Sport tj. Apparently, not an easy task. The 2nd made key was the keeper.

The Home Depot in Santee continues to impress me. Anytime that I have had a large load I have had an employee approach me and ask me if Id like assistance loading my purchase. There are always employees available to help answer questions. My most recent experience was in the garden center shopping for fruit trees. Edyth was SO helpful and full of great knowledge and tips. I did not have to look for someone to help me. She was walking around offering help. Keep up the good work Home Depot!! The other home improvement stores in the area have a long way to go to reach your excellence!

Zero help. I asked employees for help, they paged for help where I was.... Looked and waited for another 15 min with zero help. Most bolts and fasteners empty.I would avoid this location and opt for the one in El cajon.

Its home depot. Im finding this location putting more items on the floor in the aisles which makes the flow of traffic awkward, and theyve changed where many items are without changing the signs which made it Take longer to find what I needed.

I visit this home Depot a lot for work and the people there are helpful and is generally a good place to buy your home improvement stuff.

I have shopped here for over 15 years and never had an experience like today. After parking to purchase plywood, I realize there are no lumber carts in the parking lot. I look inside the store to find nearly all of them are in the store with doors on them. I walk back outside to find another 10 plus people looking for the same thing. I asked the loading crew why they are in the store, and I am told they get stolen. Is that the best excuse you have... seriously who the heck wants to steal those?? I had to use a small flat rack to lay 4x8 plywood sheets on and fight them teetering as I struggle to get thru the isle (4 feet wide) to get to the register just to leave.The store manager needs a reality check. Lowes is only 5 minutes away.

I give a three star review because the gentleman that helped me looking for my items was very helpful (wish I had got his name). It takes alot for a cashier to make me write my first bad review ever. Being a cashier for three years and in customer service for 15, I know its not easy dealing with the public. Breanne with the glasses checked me out tonight with a rude attitude making me feel very uncomfortable. I walk up to the checkout stand and as soon as we make eye contact she literally burst into uncontrollable laughter. I asked her if she was ok, she ignores my questions and continues to laugh. She whispers to the other cashier next to her that looks embarrassed from her actions. Says to the other cashier as she turning back around Thats how bad he wants me..... okayyyy, TMI. Im so confused at this point as to whats going on with her, but whatever right? Asked for a bag for my items, as she hands it to me it drops on the counter and in a very condescending manner tells me to have a good night. Maybe if she didnt ignore my question and continue to laugh, at lest say something or even fake saying have a good night in a kind way, I would of never felt any type of way. I really wanted to mention to her in person how weird and unprofessional she was, making this simple transaction confusing and so uncomfortable but thought this review would catch her attention and hopefully help her grow in dealing with customers.

I needed spray paint for an outdoor project and Home Depot had a great selection of different colors and types of spray paint.

I was worried about this return because I didn’t have a Recipt. Lisa quickly put me at ease and was able to look my receipt up using my Debit Card! I also opened a couple things and was worried about them. LISA again made me feel so much better when she took them back no questions asked. I got more money back than I was anticipating and went shopping again. Lisa was super helpful, personable and very quick. I will be back and recommend this location.

Horrible organization at the return and order pick up area. What makes it worse is that the employees make no effort to help direct the chaos or to help clarify where to stand and wait based on why you are there. Instead of asking or directing customers, they stand and talk amongst themselves. All Im trying to do is be a courteous shopper for my fellow customers and HD, and follow direction.

Curbside pickup was a fail. Sent the email reply that I was there and waited and waited. No people in any of the vehicles parked in curbside delivery spots so I went inside. No apology. Pulled the items out of the locker and didnt offer or suggest a cart. If they had brought them out as expected they would have been transferred to my truck from a cart. I like the people who work there but wow, way to NOT deliver on what should have been easy and efficient.

It was fun, the people are nice and they make you feel like family.

We Love Home Depot, its like an adult toy store. We went today to get materials and hardware to update and fix the house we just bought. We had to ask an associate were one item was and she quickly says isle 13, it was impressive. she was working in the lighting department and knew where window locks were. Im not sure if thier associates change departments by shift or stay in the same department, but none the less it was impressive. Will always recommend Home Depot and go there first before the other guys!!!
