Big store. I went for specific Halloween items but didnt found. It was too late.

This store was well stocked, clean and neat isles. Found all my art supplies.

All was great but the checker. I told her I was riding my bike and wanted 4 small bags. She argued with me and was putting all in a large bag. I had to ask her 3 times.

No complaints whats not to like awesome place awesome people awesome prices. Although on a side note their resin is rather expensive

Do I Judge a Michaels by their Clearance Section - You Bet I Do!This Michaels has the most consistently organized clearance sections in all the stores Ive been in from La Mesa to Vista. Even their messiest section is pretty cleaned .All Michaels have reorganized stores and for the better. Be sure to check out their expansive glassware section, too.

The store is fine but the attitude of the staff (even management) is horrendous. As a paying customer, if I have questions about one of your products, I should be able to find someone to assist. And that person should do so without making me feel like I’m a burden to you! If you hate your job, quit. There are others who need one and will gladly take your position.

This store is so much fun!!! There are tons of options for anybody, from the casual crafter to the full blown artist. It always has absolutely amazing holiday sections and I can always expect great service when I go here. 10/10

Store was lit up ready to go at 7am... Or so it appeared. Maybe I showed up for a store re-strategy day, but I doubt it. Make sure your teams turn off the lights at night to conserve energy, make your hours of operation pronounced so that people can easily find them. I was able to, but I saw a couple people look all over the door, check something on their phone, and leave in disappointment. There was no special event going either..

I love this location. Its always organized and I can find what I need quickly. I have never had a problem with the staff helping me find what I need, or recommending an alternative. Checkout is crazy and long around the holidays, but that goes for every store that has quality merchandise. Keep up the good work guys!

I really enjoyed shopping at Michaels today. Beautiful displays. Helpful people. All the happy looking EasterBunnys and chicks. My favorite part is looking and buying beads to make jewelry for friends and family. Good prices today too!

I took my daughter to buy some jewelry making stuff. Well close to that area they have all the candies, chocolates, and snacks that are next to the registers. We saw threeeeeeee huge rats in the candy shelfs. We got in line to pay and you could hear them munching on everything. I told the lady behind me so she could hear them, so when I told the cashier they wouldn’t think I was making it up. Grossssssss! The rats weren’t shy with the people there, can’t imagine at night!

The products are cool. But they’re always out of most items offered online and available for pick up at other locations. Also, the associates are not that knowledgeable when it comes to the purpose of Michael’s. Crafting, beading, DIY ideas, paper crafts, etc. I’m not sure how long the associates have been employed there or how much experience they have prior but you’re basically on your own if you have specific questions on the products.

Theyre doing a great job with changes needed to Covid-19. Curbside pick up is a dream. With two small children,this option is amazing for me.

They sometimes have a surprisingly nice selection of items and usually have at least the basics. One of my go-to stops for crafts.

Michaels is always great, well organized and a sales clerk there ready to help....I found the exact beads I was looking for.

I love that I can always find what I need for holiday decor. They also have everything for your crafting needs. A big plus is you can usually always find a coupon for 40 or even 50% off a regular priced item so you dont have to buy it at full price!

My go-to for craft supplies. My whole family is crafty so we go through a lot of supplies. When i need something right away this is where i go...

This note is to compliment Melody in the Santee store. today 11/8/20 my wife and I toyed with the idea of going artificial Christmas tree. as we walked in she had full control on everyone in her radius which seemed a large area. she had multiple customers in hand and knew product and location like she was computer programed. her energy was something Ive not seen in years. I believe she sold everything in sight. her salesmanship was impeccable. if I was looking for someone to hire I would surely pick her. kudos to her. she upgraded me into the 178 Christmas tree which I am glad we bought.

Love the location in Santee and the people who work there are nice and helpful. Store is clean and usually well taken care of.

Friendly staff and easy to shop and find what you want. Holiday stuff comes out about 2 months before the date and is gone quickly.

I go to Michaels a lot for my craft needs for quick trips. I use to buy a lot of embroidery floss but now have to go to Joanns. I spent an hour there looking for 2 colors. I was found quickly the other never found. They have the trays to keep things in order and use up run 100 through the end color so it was quick and easy. Now the trays are all mixed up and out of order. One tray looked like the label had been removed and colors just dumped in like the didnt have time to fix properly. My advice is if you need floss fast dont go to the Michaels in Santee.

The Michaels in Santee is wonderful. I swear they have the happiest employees...even during the holiday rush! Theyre also very health conscious. They keep count of how many people are in yhe store (I only waited 3 minutes to enter), have wipes for the carts, hand sanitizer and enforce the mask rule (when appropriate...not everyone can wear one). Oh, theyre also having one heck of a sale!

Im a huge crafter and its a blessing and a curse to have Michaels almost walking distance from my home. Just an FYI, theres always a coupon, generally 40% off one item or other deals. Just look them up while youre pursuing and save some money! I hope to have free time later on in life to do knitting/crocheting/wreath classes.

There werent many people shopping. It was easy to find what I needed.

Theres a 4 person limit, line was short and went fast. Slim pickings in the cake decorating section, I imagine due to people being stuck at home.

Worker was a huge help in showing me what I asked for and went straight to it very helpful and I wasnt clear on what I was needing myaelf

My mother loves this place as she enjoys creating unique decorations. The staff is very pleasant and quite helpful when it comes to product selection and inquiries. The price can get quite expensive honestly, but coupons are almost always available in store or through the app.

Arts and crafts you have to love Michaels! If you enjoy doing arts and crafts then you have to enjoy Michaels, they have things to spruce up your house for the holiday season or just to trick out your decor from construction paper to oil painting. They also appreciate the American servicemen forgiving a military discount. So thank you Michaels for thanking the American Veteran!!

Hadnt done wheel throwing since high school! So much fun and so relaxing. Sara was awesome! Patient and really knows whats shes doing. You can tell she really enjoys what she does! She was very knowledgeable and had a great sense of humor!

Took two nice Afremov oil paintings in to get framed, and the service and result we got was amazing! Brian (??) helped us find a great frame solution that we could afford, and even got the mounting hardware installed and included wall hardware for us. Such great service.

The staff was very friendly and helpful, even during the craziness of covid and christmas shopping. Lots of sale items and coupons too if you get their email.

Staff knows their stuff. But remember to ask for help if you cant find something. I like to check availability of items in store on the website and it also tells you the location of the items. Website also has ads with coupons when available, so remember to print them out as a plus. Only downside is that theres no need for multiple cashiers if its the arent a lot of customers on a particular day. But staff is really friendly so you cant really get mad with them.

I had a similar experience as Matt Det. Be prepared to wait til the next day to get your order. I ordered my 3 items online at 1pm. I called to follow up 2 hours later (since I needed the items day of) just for them to say it is not ready and they couldnt give me a estimated time. Finally received the ready for pickup email 6 minutes before they closed...

Because I love all the sales and deals you get when youre a rewards member. Plus its never crowded and 98% of the time they will have what you need in stock.

Employees were helpful and nice even though it was really busy after reopening.

I lose all track of time when i walk through those doors. I pretty much have to walk down each isle sometimes twice... Love it!!!

I hate shopping at Michaels but really stuck with Covid restrictions. I stopped shopping at Hobby Lobby because how they treated their employees with Covid closure. I tried curbside pickup and it took 3 days for 3 skeins of embroidery floss. Today I needed 1 skein. I spent more time in line than in the store. Only 1 cashier for more than 10 people waiting. They stopped the senior discount unless you join their rewards program. I wont join for the few items I buy and dont want to give them access to my personal info. I doubt management will reply. I wakois there today between 355 pm. Also no very small bags available for small items. Maybe someone could go to Costco and get some baggies.!

Not much selection in this location. Really disappointing supply of garland and beads.

Store is closed to Public so internet orders only.Make an order at 3:30, a 8 dollar order for two simple items. I call a Half hour later and I get a verbally short woman grilling me over my order. I admitted I did remember all the details. She snapped they have 150 orders to process and itll be a while at which point she hangs up on me with no warning. Almost 3 hours later I am outside the store and I get notification the order is ready, its 5:50ish. so I call. it rings for 5 minutes and hangs up. Confused I look to see the employees leaving while staring pointedly at me. Its just after 6pm. They let my call hang until after 6 then hung up on me and walked away. I will NEVER go to this store ever again.

I always use my 40% one item coupon and I live for it. I love arts and crafts. This store is amazing
