My grandson’s bike got a flat tire while we were out bike riding. We found the Mission Trails Bike Shop online and brought his bike over. Everyone there was so nice and friendly - they fixed his tire in about 10 minutes, and the price was great. Couldn’t have been nicer or more helpful. I definitely recommend!!

My first time going a few days ago. I got there just as they were opening up and before they could even get the doors unlocked were helping a customer ahead of my, then myself. I didnt get the gentlemans name, but he was very kind and helpful. I needed new tires and tubes and asked for a recommendation for the style of riding I usually practice (half street, half trail, nothing crazy) and was recommended a pair of shoes I never wouldve picked myself. Slapped them on myself and Im setting personal best after personal best. Definitely a great fit for me. This will be my regular spot for any tune up or repair I cant handle myself. Thanks!

I dropped my bike off in mid January for a general tune-up. I was told that it would take a little over a week. No problem. I waited over 2 weeks just to give them more time. No calls so I decided to visit the shop. I arrive and the staff had no clue about my bike and had me speak to the owner who flipped through a notebook (not a computer mind you, a notebook with handwritten notes) looking for the details of me and my bike. And he couldnt find any info so he wrote it down and said that he would make sure the bike was fixed within a week. I gave them another TWO weeks and heard nothing so I called on a Monday and was told I GUARENTEE your bike will be fixed by Wednesday of that week. I waited until Tuesday of the NEXT WEEK and heard nothing. So I went to the shop again and found my bike not fixed. I explained my frustration to the owner who blamed COVID and said parts take a while to arrive. To which I asked why that wasnt explained to me in JANUARY and why I couldnt have at least received a phone call about the delay. Poor quality, poor customer service, lack of communication, no follow up with customers, and a general disregard for respect for someones time. This is an embarrassment of a business and I will never take my business to them again.

I went in for service on an older beach cruiser. I had just purchased it and wanted to make sure it was in safe riding condition. After a few minutes, I was greeted by a young man who evaluated my tires and chain. He was nice but in a hurry. He told me the brakes and chain were fine but, the tires needed air. I explained that I just bought it and wanted to do whatever was needed to make sure it was safe and ready to ride. I also asked them if they could clean it as it had not been used for a few months and I am 60 and it’s hard for me to lift and bend. He said their hose was broken but they would clean it and check on the tires for leaks by keeping it overnight. They would call when it was done. I got a call my bike was ready the next day and went in to pick it up. They said they didn’t need to do anything as my tires held air, the tires looked good and held air overnight. Again they were in a hurry, I was charged $25. When I got to my car to load it, I noticed the bike was not cleaned. I didn’t mind paying $25 for the “service” (even though nothing was actually done) but was very disappointed that they did not take the time to do a full job and clean it as was promised as the shop is close to my home and convenient. I read other reviews before decided to give them a try and most were favorable but I found the customer service to be brusk and lack of follow through was sad.

The owner, Jeff has always been there to help with whatever I need done with my bike as well as my wifes and friends. Hes an expert and very friendly. Hell help you out any way he can. Whether youre looking for a bike thats right for you, components, or just any questions, hes always been there to help and make sure youre able to understand anything you might be unsure about. I reccomended giving him a call or just stopping in and no need to be shy. Great man and business!!

Ive relied on them to handle any and all with my bike that I ride at least 5 days/week on the roads with zero concern. This place is a joke. Took my bike in for a tune up. When I picked it up my tire was flat and the next day I went for a ride my chain was rubbing pretty bad and my pedals fell apart on me so I would not trust the workmanship of this shop at all. I am very disappointed and would highly recommend you take your bike to a shop that accepts credit/debit cards and can you give you a simple work order for the work performed on your bike.

Poor customer service. Owner does not keep track of what he is fixing or when he says he will have it fixed. Told me next week three weeks in a row. Did not fix half the stuff he said he would. The only reason they are still in business is the prime location for mission trails.

Ill admit, Im new to cycling, so my knowledge of my Electric Fat Tire tadpole was very limited. Jeff and his team took care of several items. He was pretty quick, considering everything. Will definitely go again.

Jeff was awesome and very knowledgeable and friendly. He didn’t try to upsell me on what I needed and my bike feels great and rides awesome. I highly recommend this bike shop and I will come back for any of my needs.

Found this shop by accident-flat tire a mile down the road without a tube to fix it. The crew at Mission Trails Bike shop were busy, but when it was my turn saw to my needs and promptly moved on to help others. Some would prefer more thorough service without being handed off to other staff memebers, but given the increased demand for their services, the drops-ins like myself, and the rows of bikes outside waiting to be serviced I did not mind. The prices are standard. Its a small locaiton and they may not have EVERYTHING you want or need, but will certainly take the time to talk with you and provide the services and options available. I believe the younger guys name is Oscar, who was pleasant and extrememly helpful. Would return to the shop and happily work with this team again.

Took my bike in for an easy fix on my rear wheel. They didnt do anything to it for four days and then told me they couldnt help me. I took it to Zumwalts shop in Santee and they fixed it in a few hours. Dont waste your time.

Took two bicycles for help. Both in bad shape. The wonderful folks there spent more hours than they charged us for and made the bikes better than ever. They talked to us about the bicycles, watched us ride to ensure the seats were the right height and helped us understand bicycling better. Brought one back for a “noise”, which turned out to be a tiny adjustment, but the point is they did that for us as part of the original charge. They treat you like family here. Will always bring bicycles here because I know it’ll be done well and with care. Thank you!

Super Friendly very helpful, I had found them on a search for Google, little did I know they where closed when I had called, someone had answered the phone I explained what I was in need of and he said we are closed today but I can meet you over there. This is a great shop and a great bussines man. Went above and beyond for me. Will definitely be back.

I brought my bike in to get certain things fixed. The owner fixed my bike and then reviewed with me some things I could do to further improve it. He was very knowledgeable and not at all pushy. They had electric bikes road bikes and mountain bikes all available. They also had rentals. He asked me if I was going for a ride that afternoon and offered me a loaner bike while he fixed mine. That was some great service.

Knowledgeable, friendly staff that really seem to want to help you. My fiance and I had the pleasure of talking to Jeff the owner otherwise known as the milkman. We didnt buy anything but I know where Im gonna go when I upgrade.

Went to get bike tuned up, he looked at it, told me $180, said he would be right back and after 45 minutes of waiting, took the bike off the rack myself and left. While taking my bike off the rack, someone came in yelling at me thinking I was an employee there. Terrible experience and clean your shop, looks like a pile of farts.

This is a great bike shop! Went here to get a Haro Flightline Two (27.5), and I couldnt be happier with the buying experience. We gave the owner a call on a Saturday not knowing if they were open, which they werent, but he picked up anyways and said he could be over to the shop any time we needed because we live a bit far away. This is the kind of shop youre buying from. Also. The day after I bought the bike, the chain snapped. Took it back and he replaced it free of charge, and gave the bike a tune up. The only reason I give this a 4 star instead of a 5 is simply because the inside of the store if very cluttered (i.e you can hardly walk around more than 10 feet). Overall very pleased with this shop!

My bike sat for two weeks in the boxes I brought it in. I was given poor service and miscommunication from the staff and owner.

Had to U turn on Mission Gorge. Lots of bikes new and used. But donated my bike parts to Amvets.

I was pleasantly surprised by the quake turnaround and client attention. They did an excellent job getting my battered Specialized Sirrus back in shape and tuned up in just a couple of days. It was well worth the drive out to Santee.
