Had to move my moms and some our stuff out asap. Gene is so nice and helpful. Very simple terms etc. LOVE how dont have to go up an elevator or anything. Very TALL unit. Easy in and out. Secure. Gated. I like how NOT open 24 hours. Less risk. We jammed a ton of stuff in there! Our garage is now SUPER EMPTY. LOVE It! We live in same area.

I just cleared out of my lot, but this place was great. Easy to get to and easy to get in and out of. I stored a small teardrop style camper here for the past 8 months and Gene worked with me to find a space and price that worked out just right.

Ive shared a unit here with a family member for the past 4 years. I have always felt my unit was safe and have never had an issue with it being tampered. I would give the mini storage 5 stars in that department. There is a nice gentleman that works there during the week. He gets 5 stars too, kind, helpful, informative.... And then there is an older lady that is there on the weekend. She gets no stars. She is unnecessarily rude and on a power trip. I had to empty my portion of the unit recently due to a falling out with the other person. We are not on speaking terms and it has been a very emotional time. I was mailed our unit key and told to remove my items. I was not given an access code for the gate but told to check in with the office. Which I did upon arrival. The office lady was immediately annoyed with my lack of code but after making sure I was on the account she allowed me in. In a very snooty way she told me I would need to call get the access code from the other party if I was going to be coming in and out because she wouldnt be there all day to open it for me. I explained that I wasnt on speaking terms with the other person and that it was just a one time visit to empty my items. I spent about 30 min loading my truck and headed to leave. I pulled up to the gate thinking it would automatically let me out but it didnt. I parked and went inside and asked her if she would please let me out, that I was all finished there and would not be needing to come back. She told me I needed the code. I explained that I wasnt given one and would not be coming back. She told me to call and get it. (Are you kidding me. Just let me leave) I explained that im not on speaking terms and that this was a very difficult situation for me and to please just let me go and I would not be back. But she insisted she call and notify the unit owner, even though I am on the account. Im assuming she reached a voicemail and eventually allowed me to leave.... She took what was already any extremely difficult situation and made it that much more difficult on me. Based on her lack of customer service I will not be opening my own unit there and will find another company to support. Which is a shame because it would be a 5 star storage place if she wasnt there.

Throughout the years I have rented storage space at various storage facilities. When I looked around for a place in Santee, I visited several facilities in the area. At Santee Mini Storage I was assisted by Gene. What a great guy. He was very helpful and knowledgeable regarding the room size best to accommodate my possessions. Santee Mini Storage is not the cheapest, but also not the most expensive. As long as Gene is there, and prices remain competitive, I plan on staying with Santee Mini Storage. Hes the best. We are getting another new self storage facility in Santee. It is being built behind Sonrise Church.

I will only store my stuff here. Gene was great. Helpful, cheerful, all round nice guy.My experience was exceptional. Price was fair.

From the first time calling to inquire about renting a storage, to the last time I visited to get something out, I have always felt a wonderful connection to the staff at this facility.They are always kind, sincere and take the time to say hello.On occasions when I have forgotten to pay, I have received phone calls reminding me not to be late with my payment. What a saving grace that has been!I would recommend this facility to anyone! Great location, safe and wonderful staff!

This storage unit is a very nice place very clean and honest I would recommend anyone to use them price is good compared to competitive storages and they will except Offroad vehicles and trailers and really anything in the storage units

Gene is super personable and i couldnt ask for a better employee to set up my storage unit. He is a sweetheart, caring and couldnt be more professional. 5 stars for Gene. The other employees are very kind but Gene is phenominal at his job.In regards to the storage facility itself it is super clean and i have not experienced any issues. Gene is the M-F Manager & hes cool. The weekend Manager is Glenda & shes a ditz. I 1st acquired my storage unit May 2015 & paid $200. per month. Now its up to $214./month & thats too much. My things have stayed safe since then but now am selling all to get out from that huge monthly bill.

Gated, quiet, polite staff, restroom requires key from office but they were polite about providing it without delay in moment of urgency. Reasonable comparison rates.

I find the staff to be extremely helpful. The property is safe and clean.

I have had a unit here for over a year and I am ready to find somewhere else. The prices here were already higher than most others around but now they just raised the rent significantly. I dont feel it is worth the money. The units dont have electricity, the facility is only open from 7am-7pm. And if you are even a few minutes after 7 when you attempt to leave you will not only find yourself locked in the facility but you will also be charges $50 to leave.Dont get me wrong the facility is clean and well maintained with relatively friendly staff but if I am going to keep paying so much they are going to have to make it worth it...
