For about 90 bucks, they did an oil change and a complete check of all the systems and fluids, had a nice customer waiting room with free coffee and water, and vending machines,and had me out and about an hour and 15 minutes. Everything about my interactions with Gettel Nissan since I bought the car has been great
All the care is to sell after they run your credit 6 times which he told me only 3 times, they treat you like I have no choice and a lot of lies. Be careful the price of the car changes too and they give you the car not washed good and with a lot of things missing which I have to go back again. The sales person was awful. Didn’t know anything and he will promise different things and after I bought the car he will not keep the promises. Everyone in my family bought cars from here. I never thought they will treat a good customer like that. So far we have bought 4 cars from them. Unfair.

They sold a car that I planned on purchasing this morning, WITH AN APPOINTMENT, right out from underneath me with absolutely NO warning. A phone call was placed to the salesman before our appointment with no return call from him. A half an hour after our appointment with still no return call. When he did call back, it was just to tell me he sold it.

They sold me a used car one Wednesday with a mechanical problem that they promised to fix, they made me take it the following Monday, of course on Monday the 3-day guarantee for return expired, well thought out by them, they took advantage of not I speak English well and by right I had the documents in Spanish which I never received, the car spent a whole month in repair shops and they did not want to accept the return of the vehicle with all the problems that they knew it presented, they behaved badly and did it wrong. Bad faith, the vehicle still has problems and I look bad economically, I certainly do not recommend that you buy with this dealer, go to another and spend your money well
After shopping around, I was lucky enough to work with Philip (new car sales), Chris (GSM) and Tyler (Finance). Not only did they give me the best deal on my Armada and my trade in, the were AMAZING to work with from start to finish. I was a little worried from experiences with other dealers and working out all the figures over the phone. Everyone was genuinely great people: no sales pitch, no pressure, and no haggling. In my short time at the dealership, I could tell everyone was one big, happy “work family” willing to go over and beyond for the customers and each other! I own a 2007 Nissan Xterra (which I love, please bring it back!) and brought it to Gettel Nissan because I felt they were the most reliable service department and they are certified Nissan mechanics. From the moment I got there I felt at ease with how I was greeted by Rachel Zimmerman (outstanding service advisor!). She addressed all my concerns with confidence and professionalism! The technician who handled my repairs (Logan) was just as professional and put in laymens what areas of the engine needed addressing. It was a wonderful service that Logan provided a video clip of his assessment! Both Rachel and Logan are top notch and are an asset to the Nissan team! I live and Tampa and near to no less than half a dozen Nissan dealers but I drove over 50 miles to purchase a specific car I found online after having conversations both online and on the phone with the dealership. When arriving they immediately tried to show me a different car (strike one). Then they somehow managed to get me to agree to pay at least 2-3K over the advertised price (not counting reconditioning fee, dealer fee, taxes and all the other add ons). I honestly believe that as the finance guy was able to find a lower and lower rate (ended up at less than 2%) he actually was increasing the price of the vehicle because he knew my primary focus would be payment (strike two). Finally upon driving home my Nissan Certified used car (2019 with under 30K miles and still under factory warranty) the vehicle suffered a separated tire (One of the original tires left installed even after this so called thorough inspection for certification). Luckily, the vehicle did make it home and no one was injured. I called the dealer and was told if I can make the 50 mile trip back to show them the tire then something could possible be done (strike three your out). Thus, once again another disappointing experience at another Florida car dealer. Is there any good ones out there? Maybe I should just be happy nobody died on the way home?

I usually test drive a car before buying, but with Covid I didnt feel comfortable. I used TruCar and found the car that I purchased and with help of Gettel Nissan and the buy from home process was easier than I expected. Dealership sales person was pushy, they say they are there for you but theyre not, all they see are $$$ signs. At the end when youre signing everything its done on the computer not paper. They rush you thru that as well.Took it in for first oil change, tire rotation, check n fill tires with air, when I got home I checked them each tire had a different amt of lbs in it. I don trust any of them. But they got you by right where they want you.I expect more honesty n more customer relationship. I dont want a hurry up job
I brought my truck in for an oil change and wheel alignment and it took 4,5 hrs! I booked my van in for oil change, wheel alignment and balancing and tires. Drove from Sun City Center to Sarasota because I have purchased 4 vehicles since 2014 with the Gettel (Nissan and Kia) and have used their service department for years, with a few hiccups. I nearly purchased a Nissan Titan on Saturday and was told they do not have tires for my van until tomorrow! If I booked the work previously and told them I needed tires surely if I needed to pay up front I should have been told and I would have done so! Service guy hung up on me and then called back to tell me we are getting an oil change for free and he had cancelled the rest of the work. I informed him that I think we need to look at an alternative dealership. I will send the recorded phone calls to their company and hopefully they make good on this! If my staff treated a customer like this this would be their last day at my company!
The service department at Gettel Nissan was second to none. I had a large distance to travel and a small window of opportunity to address an issue with my car. Although the service department was very busy, they made the time to ensure the car was safe. Service like this is why I continue to drive a Nissan. Amazing.

Recently traded my car in the beginning of May and was very satisfied until I was having trouble with the new loan not showing up on my bank after well over a month. Called the dealership and asked why my specific Bank hadn’t posted that yet and they said it would take about 45 days and to wait. Come to find from yet another follow up call they had used a completely different bank for my loan and had not communicated that with me at all when I was trading in the old car or in the previous follow up call where I specifically told them the name of the bank I *thought* I was using and the person on the phone couldn’t even be bothered to look into my situation which would’ve quickly solved my problem and instead just told me what I’m sure they tell everyone calling with the same trouble. For the amount of money the salespeople make and how much I pay for both cars I’ve gotten through this place I would expect a lot more efficiency and communication from a dealership.

We have bought a 3 new vehicles from Gettel ( a Toyota and Nissan). The Nissan has a 3 M shield that was applied before purchase and it had gotten nasty looking (moldy) but Im not someone that has to drive in a pristine vehicle, but now there are water pockets in the shield and when you attempt to drain them, the paint peels. I called and was told that the warranty was through a third party and I would need to deal with them. I was clueless on the shield and the contract does not talk about dealing with another party. My agent was Gettel and I had no contact with the party that they are directing me to. So... Gettel is giving me a screw you. we hae no responsibility. So... I can say that we will not purchase another vehicle from Gettel. They dont take responsibility.
I purchased a 21 Murano Platinum AWD from Michael a few weeks back and when it came time to take delivery, not one person even took the time to walk myself and my family out to the car to see us off, just have us the keys at the dealership door and said “I think it’s over there”. Also, the tires on the car were inflated at 49 psi at cold temp when they’re supposed to be at 35 psi at cold temp. Michael also stated to my wife that the AWD doesn’t engage in rain, just snow. Lol, Smart system huh?
I dont respect a company that buries their unsubscribe option so deep in the small print that you need to push your courser line by line to find the link. Shame on the gettel family. I hope their dog gets hip dysplasia and I hope a dude with a monster energy drink tattoo and a dirt bike gets their daughter pregnant.
I was traveling to Sarasota for a visit. En route my engine light came on. A local mechanic read the code and suggested I go to the Nissan dealership. Ill keep it short, I wildly overpaid to replace an oxygen sensor. While my car was at the dealer, I called my mechanic back home, told him the engine code number, he looked it up and told me what the part cost and the book time to install. The part was at least $60 more at Gettel, and the billed install time was more than what my mechanic told me I should expect to pay. Dealers always overcharge and I hated having to go there, but I wanted the issue resolved before my return drive. I would not have gone there by choice.

Im looking for a Lexus ES not trying to spend more than 25000 (which Ive seen plenty around but Im just taking my time) and these people call me and finally get me to come in only to tell me the Lexus was sold and then lies in tells me they text me it was sold🙄. Then the manager tries to get me to buy a Nissan Altima instead, so I said No. Why as Im leaving the manager says oh to make you feel better we sold it for 26000🤣.. um okay Sir I dont care about that Im glad you didnt slap my head for that price😝 I guess you thought that would hurt my feelings Craig. I could have saved time and gas doing other things, So for that you get one star.
Service itself seemed competently done. However, bill was incomprehensible even with the help of the desk person. Additionally, a required part of the service was not included in the estimate and I was notified of it after it was done. Front desk was friendly and helpful but could only do so much; for example, arranging a reduction in the charge.
Tyrone Whitley was my salesman and he was beyond knowledgeable about the brand. His professionalism and personality made the whole experience a very positive one. I only stopped in to look quickly on my lunch break but Tyrone made the decision easy for me by giving me such a great deal!

I called Gettel to schedule a time to get my Pathfinder in for a recall service. I had my call answered and was told that a Service Advisor would be in touch to schedule the recall as well as some other work that needed to be done on the vehicle. It has now been a week with no response...thankfully there is another option in the area with Nissan of Bradenton...

I am so glad I read the fine print, because they were going to charge me $999 for prep fee and another $285 for electronic fee and I am not counting the doc fee, and other misc fees. I have no problem paying taxes, title and registration, but the rest is a scam. I would never buy anything from this dealership. I hate DEALERS! SCAMMERS

Covid-19 has been super tough on me, as I’m sure most others can relate. My lease on my Honda Civic was coming to an end and the last thing I wanted to do was car shop. I worked with Pete who made the car buying experience easy, he was very upfront and took his time understanding what I was looking for. Tyler was also very helpful once the paperwork and finances were being covered. He was sure to answer my questions and make sure I understand what I was signing up for or waiving. I 100% recommend Gettel Nissan, I was well taken care of.

He was condescending & all he could do was interrupt me on the phone and continue to tell me “If I’m so busy to come in then he didn’t need my info for a manager to reach out” Can’t believe they’d hire someone like this to represent the business, quite laughable honestly.

Just want to get a little review on my experience. After a car accident that totaled my baby I was looking into getting another Sentra whether it be new or used. I wasn’t feeling the 2018 Sentra they showed me and felt if I was replacing my baby I should absolutely love the car they showed me. Mike was the first to contact me about Sentras on a phone calls, came in and seen what they could do while the process of my claim was still ongoing. Mike and Rod were able to get me into a brand new 2021 Nissan Sentra and I am so thankful. I love it already and even though I’m still grieving my love (2015 Sentra) I know I will love it just as much! Thank you guys. 😌
They over referred me for new work. I guess that is their job. It didnt need new brakes, the axel was fine and the other work was unnecessary.
My one year old Nissan was having serious start-up problems. Kevin Acevedo provided immediate and detailed attention. He moved the car right away into the garage and promptly followed up via text. The car was repaired under warranty along with additional services that were due, also under warranty. I was able to pick it up at the time Kevin had promised. An inspection video was also provided. Outstanding service by Kevin and the Nissan team.
Carson Wall met me as I drove in for my 10,000 service. He was welcoming, friendly, and professional throughout the entire time. I arrived at 2:30; he told me if would take approximately 90 minutes. I drove out at 4:05. Great service, indeed. Carson is to be complimented and recognized.

Had oil change and tire rotation, noticed on the way home the ride was little harder and I checked the pressure later that day and the pressure was up to 38 PSI in each tire Little too much.

Everything was perfect, great customer service, good communication, very polite and professional. EXCEPT!!!! Your employees are wearing their masks under their noses. When I commented they all adjusted them but it should be the dealerships responsibility to keep the staff and customers safe. Use some of your PPE money to buy them proper fitting masks.

Too high pressure, they probably would have had my business if they didnt push so hard. Felt very uncomfortable as soon as they wouldnt give me a price for the car I was interested in.
