Overpriced and totally void of atmosphere. My latte was just as bad as the customer service. Don’t try to make small talk, the cashier apparently doesn’t like to engage in conversation. Even when it’s relevant to a transaction. Never coming here again. I’d rather use one of those manual brewers at Race Trac and save my money of this overpriced scalded lattes they be pumping out here.

The staff refused to open. Scheduled to open at 5:30 am, and I arrived around 8 am. Several people were in the drive through and recieved no response. After the third car in line got the staffs attention people were informed the location will not be opening for an hour. This the final straw, I worked at a Starbucks 13 years ago, grew to love their coffee, and use the whole bean products. Starbucks is no longer a company I recognize as they have alienated costumers who enjoy coffee and the coffee shop experience.

As always a reliably good cup of coffee. The employees at this store are the nicest and most helpful of any I’ve found in Florida. Full disclosure I’ve been a “frequent flyer “ with them for over 10 years. At one point I was told I had not missed a day in over 3 years.

Cant speak for every Starbucks, but whoever was running the place today had customer service in mind. The drive thru turned into a log jam and once we finally reached the window I was handed my coffee and told sorry for the long wait, its on us!. I had no intention of complaining but that was out-of-the-way niceness.Especially refreshing in a time like this.

This Starbucks is one of the more fast and friendly ones. Its my go to if I am in the downtown area. Which is frequently. Sometimes there is a long line but its Starbucks, lots of people stop in they move through the line quickly.

So I’m all new to this Starbucks app. I mistakenly put my order in and didn’t add the “peach” . So after I got to my car and tasted the drink I noticed it wasn’t right. So I had to go back inside no problem and get the right drinks. The girl who had the unfortunate Job of remaking my drinks was either having a very bad day or for some reason that I can’t figure out was mad at me. Love to coffee not the service. Will not be going back to midtown anytime soon.

Love Starbucks, for some reason this Starbucks either can’t keep staff, or just disorganized? At least once or twice a week at this store, the mobile ordering is shut down, I get it, short handed even just extra busy for holidays, but I don’t understand why it is only this location. This is very close to my house, the mobile ordering is very helpful for I do drive for a living. It was the same answer today, we were short handed, or the mobile app was overloaded (there were 4 cars in the drive thru, and 3 people inside when I got here. If that’s busy for a Starbucks, your other stores must have double staff? Again, I understand customer service, been in it for 23 years, when you give the same answer (we are too busy, mobile app overloaded or short handed) to the same customer over and over again, that customer usually stops coming in. I will end this here, you guys do a good job, let’s get this store running like your others.

The upmost disrespect and foul attitude by Mikah (girl) and Alan at this location was incredibly inhumane. I ordered an online order from my mobile app and expected to walk in, grab my drinks and be on my way. I live in the state of Florida where masks are mandated only by certain companies, not BY LAW. Not only do I choose not to wear a mask and breathe normally, I’m also medically exempt. When I walked into this store, I didn’t even have a chance to explain that to the barista (Mikah ) because she immediately, without even the common human decency of a “hello, welcome to Starbucks” screamed at me from the counter “DO YOU HAVE A MASK?!?! “. Let me explain something to you all, I have been in customer service, hospitality and working with the general public for over 15 years and not ONCE not EVER have I treated another human being, with such disrespect. Also, not to mention, I ordered my drinks via mobile app so that I can be in and out quickly without a hassle, without causing a scene and instead I had to defend myself against a boy and girl who told me they were going to refuse to make my drinks unless I stood outside or put a mask on. ( they were already paid for and I’m sure this is illegal). Not only did they continue to scream at me and disrespect me, I went back in after stepping outside for a second to take a deep breath. I asked for both their names. Mikah, took her name tag off and shoved it in my face. I told her I would never treat someone like this and asked her if she was even human, she replied with “NO, IM NOT, I JUST WORK HERE!” Alan, was on the side of her amping her up and continuing to say I needed to go outside in order for my drinks to be made. Now, how easy would it have been to say “hello” acknowledge me, and POLITELY ASK if I could go put a mask on. There is an approach and a way to handle situations. Neither of those two should be working in customer service. The store supervisor /worker TAMMY came up to me and sincerely apologized for the way that I was being treated. So besides their policy she felt terrible that I was being addressed the way that I was. At that point, the masks were beside the whole situation at hand. Starbucks employees seriously need a reality check and a sit down on how to properly handle situations that arise. We are not dogs that need to wait outside for a drink that you could have already made and I could be on my way. They took more time screaming at me inside than it would have to finish my drinks and let me walk out peacefully. No one should ever be treated poorly for picking up coffee and feeling like they have to defend themselves EVER.

UPDATE: There has been a relatively new barista here at Starbucks named Cari - I think thats what her name tag saya. I had to stop and write this update because I really want SBUX to know what kind of partner they have at the drive thru. She is always so pleasant and helpful. She is one of the few baristas who thinks to add napkins, ask about forks and straws. She is conscientious and helpful. I always look forward to her smiling face and singsong voice and generally happy attitude. Its baristas like her that make me feel OK when Ive spent $20+ twice a day at Starbucks. I am really grateful. In a world where she could be anything, Cari chooses to be kind. Thanks Starbucks for getting it right with this hire! Thank you Cari. I hope you see this and it totally makes you day full of sunshine and rainbows.I love coming to the midtown Starbucks. Usual great Starbucks fare, but the drive thru is very hard to navigate, particularly while the shopping plaza is under construction. Turn in at the Midtown Plaza sign (not the street before) and it’ll be a lot easier. Kudos to the fabulous employees!

I asked for a venti frappe (that usually comes with whipped cream), but when I received it, it had no whipped cream and was barely filled halfway. I asked them (kindly) to add more to my cup because it was HALF FULL and if they could add whipped cream. The response I got was no, thats all we made so thats all you get. Keep in mind, a venti frappe is expensive so to get it filled only halfway and get a rude response after kindly asking is not very pleasant. The only good part is that it tastes good.

Starbucks has finally forced my decision to go to Dunkin Donuts. Or, anywhere else for coffee.Their stores are dirty and the employees are so rushed that the drinks are just not good anymore. Oh, and you can plan on waiting awhile unless you put in a mobile order.

I love Starbucks!!! But this one is an epic fail. The people that work at this location are not the problem. Unfortunately everything else is if you’re not just going through the drive through. The layout inside is awkward and uncomfortable from the second you walk through the door. The outside sitting area isn’t any better with chairs that seem to be designed to be uncomfortable. Broken railing that is missing some sections and trash all over I’m guessing from the lack of a trash can outside. If you want to sit at a coffee shop for a while do yourself a favor and don’t pick this one.

I love this store but it is always so crowded and nowhere to sit inside! They definitely need to grow the interior seating space. It is right on 41 which is great because you can grab your coffee and move on. In the mornings, I order my drink through the app and pick it up 10 minutes later. Employees are super friendly and nice but drive thru is very slow. Especially in the morning it is almost impossible to arrive work on time I dont order it through the app.

Very helpful, kind staff. Quick service and clean area even during a rush. I like the outside seating too. Its right on 41 so the traffic is a bit loud, but they have some nice landscaping and flowers. Interior is also cozy, with lots of seating. I had a bagel and an iced coffee, which was fine.

Starbucks is exceptional, if you havent downloaded their app you should. Even if you consider their drinks expensive shop there whenever they have happy hour on Frappuccinos and similar drinks. You will earn Stars towards free drinks, and since its happy hour its buy 1 get one free.

No PR at all. After sitting in my car for more than 30 minutes to get my frapuchinos .they were totally horrible to the taste. Water and chocolate. Walked up to the door (Covid19) times and explained to the gentleman I believe was the manager at the moment. His response was you want to exchange make the line again. That would have been another 30 minutes and growing. I drove off upset and dumped the frapuchinos . money down the drain in test like this. Someone has to teach them PR. He would have easily walked up to me taken the those and made me new ones. I had a double mask on.

Almost didnt go in because the entry was filth and messy. No line for ordering but long line for pickup. My husbands drink looked like beige milk and tasted like milk. My drink tasted of burned coffee, and didnt conform to the Starbucks standard for that drink. Lots of employees but the only one happily doing her job was the person who took our order.

Heres the conundrum, how can a corporate Titan be a neighborhood community business? Yet thats exactly what Starbucks is to many people. With their community board they allow strangers of a like mind to communicate without the internet, without a phone or common friends. They bring communities together. This place is filthy inside and out. No one is cleaning up the trash that blows into the bushes by the tables outdoors & the paint on the walls indoors is scratched and chipped. There used to be nice couches, chairs, It used to have charm and now it is barren like an old school house with hard wooden benches and seats. I cant speak for the beverages, as I only had water when meeting with a friend.

The worst Starbucks that I have visited in North America. They dont have a simple dark roast ready and needed a pour over - fine. I went to the washroom and waited another 5 min and asked to check the coffee - no one has started it while others behind me had their specialty drinks ready.

Like most other Starbucks, this one is reasonably well-staffed; they take time to make orders carefully. Personnel are friendly and helpful. Drinks are quite good-tasting; I havent eaten any of the pastries there but I think theyd be good as well.

I am always on the road for work and lately with the cooler weather I have stopped here several times to grab a hot chocolate! For Starbucks, the wait is not too bad and the service is always extremely friendly! There’s outside seating and it always looks nice and clean. Would definitely recommend for either drive-through or if you want to stop in!

Worst Starbucks drive thru EVER! Ordered a Venti cappuccino and the entire cup was foam...the rude associate at the window felt the empty cup and giggled as she handed it to us. However we called and spoke with the manager and he was very polite and accommodating but nobody wants to deal with a conflict over a coffee.

Just left the store about an hour ago. The female associate making the drinks was very rude condescending towards my family and basically called me a liar. Spent over $30 today at Starbucks between 2 visits today so I wanted it to be right. Everything from my order to asking for more cream was a problem for this associate with short hair and pink streaks. Maybe just a really off day? The other associates and the one who took my order were pleasant. I really hate leaving poor reviews. I’m a gold member and have had no issues at the usual Beneva and Bee Ridge location.

The Starbucks I used to go to before moving here was great. Remembered your name, cleaned tables. Even before they opened they made sure the outside was ready to go. This place does none of that. Great fast service. My wife wanted a special coffee they make up north and they were happy to accommodate her but then she changed her mind and the cashier had no problem changing the order. And the cashier spelled my name correctly and even apologized if he didnt spell it right in the beginning. No one ever spells my name right! Thank you guys keep up the good work!

I went inside for the first time in 2 years. Dirty dirty dirty. Does as anyone clean. Staff talks about being slammed processing wrong orders because they are new. They are nice but when around food and drinks you must be clean. And who complains out loud about their job for customers to hear.
