My favorite place to go for supplies. It is a family business and a pleasure to visit. Skip and Rett are very helpful and will always point you in the right direction. Even if you just need household cleaning supplies, you should definitely stop by to get them here instead of the grocery store or big box stores. You will get higher quality supplies and most likely at a lower price.

Ive been doing business with Folks at Sarasota Chemical for nearly two years. At first I worked with Skip and it transitioned to Rett, simply put they are wonderful people to work with. If they dont have an answer to your question they will research it and get back to you. All the cleaning supplies I use for my hotel come from there.I would highly recommend this fine business establishment.

Sarasota Chemical & Paper is a great place for cleaning supplies and equipment. Family owned and operated, Rhett and Skip are exceptionally nice, always helpful and their prices are competitive. I am happy to be their customer and plan to remain a customer for years to come.

I have a cleaning company and I went to them to rent a carpet extractor. The price was reasonable. When I arrived, I was instructed to only use their chemicals with their machines and to plug in the 2 power cords to 2 different outlets because it was too powerful for one outlet alone.After I picked it up I dropped it off at the job site and shortly after my crew called and told me that the hose that is connected to to wand was broken and leaking. I called the store and the young gentleman was nice and told me to bring it in and exchange it for a new one.After that issue, I got a call again from my crew. They told me that water was no longer coming out from the wand. So I called Sarasota Chemical again and spoke with another gentleman. I explained what happened with the hose and that now this problem. He offered to speak to one of my crew members and instruct them how to troubleshoot it. I stated that I would prefer for someone to come down and fix it because I already had an issue. Let me say, the job site was 4 minutes away from there store. I was told that they were going to deliver a different machine and take the one I rented out due to the trouble I was having and since I was a new customer. I was also told that I wasnt going to be charged for the rental, that when I turned in the machine the next day I would be refunded if it was cash, (which it was), and I would get store credit if I paid with a card.This morning, I go to turn in the machine. When I asked about the refund, the young gentleman said that his grandfather said that we were using an extension cord that wasnt powerful enough for the machine and that we overheated the machine but that it was checked out and it was okay. So basically, his grandfather was going to refund me the rental fee until he saw we used an extension cord. The young gentleman said that he could have offered me a powerful extension cord if he knew I was going to use one. Well what about when he told me to plug in the cords to 2 different outlets? The lightbulb in his head didnt go off then??To conclude, I was paying extra wages for 2 employees because of the delay with the machine, I was accused of overheating the carpet extractor and they backed out on their word. The refund would not even cover the extra time paid to my 2 employees while they were sitting ducks. And this is how they earned their bad review from a new customer. I will no longer do business with them nor recommend to anyone.

I use to go to the closet chemical store I was near to get all my supplies. When Skip and Jill purchased Sarasota Chemical, that all changed. I get everything from them. Their customer service is amazing. If you have any question or looking for something special they make sure you are taken care of. With a new baby last year and our company growing so fast their delivery service is a life saver! If you arent shopping with with Skip and Jill you need to change, then you will wonder why you wasted so much of your time somewhere else! A+++

Previous owners where a great people but the current owners are not, This place is just terrible the owner is a mean person and they do not like to pay on time, please people stay way from this business
