Great experience with this shop. This will always be my go-to shop. I met Rob who took care of me and made sure my bike was done just in time for an event. At this point he’s been on a few of my bikes. Quick, efficient, and done correctly. Will recommend 58th and Rob to everyone needing a repair, tires, or custom work. He does it all. The custom work is something to see!

Ive had several good experience with 58th street customs and its owner. What I most liked about Rob Is his straight forward, tell it like it is business approach. He has never tried to up sell me or sell me stuff my bike didnt need. I have and will continue to recommend 58th street customs to all, for their motorcycle needs.
I had a 2006 CBR1000RR and I received outstanding service from 58th street customs. I had oil changes, tires replaced, brake serviced and change, gas tank replaced, etc. At very good prices. I moved out of Sarasota and I wish I could find a shop that provides the quality service 58th street customs delivers.
Took my brand new Harley slim to 58st to dress her up nice !!! Ape hangers installed, spring seat, new pipes and breather !!! Rob took good care of everything and a quick turnaround time!!! Very reasonable, definitely recommend!!!
Whatever your needs are, this place is top notch!
I’ve needed my scooter tuned up and the back tire replaced. Robbie did an awesome job. He’s very efficient and knowledgeable.Thank you Robbie! You are very much needed and appreciated in our community!
Just recently had my motorcycle painted there. Awesome guy great work. Very respectable and straight up with you. Deffinently recommend them to anyone needing work done.
Robert took care of my (new to me) used 1998 Heritage and help me understand my first Harley. Robert installed new brake pads, rotors and two new tires while performing the maintenance that was required. Robert also fixed some other minor stuff that I did not know about. I can’t tell you how comfortable and caring he is and the time he took to explained everything. I think I received excellent service and would recommend Robert for any Motorcycle work. I was treated fairly and you can tell Robert is passionate about his work. Robert picked up my bike over 40 miles away as I was having DMV tittle issue.
Great Shop!
He came and picked up my Yamaha that was giving me serious issues, I changed some parts to no avail, was expecting a large bill, but was pleasantly surprised that he found a minor issue, honest and fair.Would recommend to anyone
The best shop around. Honest, fair priced, trustworthy, and excellent work. I wouldn’t take my bike anywhere else. Top notch!
My bike had a list of needs. Robbie was very professional and took his time explaining everything. I really enjoyed the warm atmosphere. 58th Street Customs is the only place I will take my bike for work. Robbie has my business.
Robert is honest and won’t promise something he won’t deliver on I’ve tried a few different shops in town and returned to 58th street because I can depend on his work and his pricing is very fair. If you like going to a shop where you talk to the actual person working on your bike then you’ll like Robert and 58th street.
58th Street Customs is the place for any kind of work youll ever need for your ride. From maintenance to total fabrication! Highly recommend Rob to anyone who owns a motorcycle!
Robbie will take good care of your bike. Honest and fair. Definitely recommend him.
Thanks Robbie for the great work on my Indian. I love the mini apes and new crash bar. Top notch! work
Love this shop! I have had a few bad experiences in the past so did pretty much all the work on my own bikes until I met Rob. He is VERY knowledgeable, forthright, honest and his pricing is very fair. I dont always like that I have more damage on my bikes than I hoped for but Rob ALWAYS shoots straight and tells me what to expect and delivers. If these things are important to you as well, go to him!
The absolute best custom motorcycle shop in the Bay area!!!! 10 stars!!!
As a female rider I wouldnt trust anyone more than Robert to work on my bike. He has always been honest and fair with me. His work is top notch and he is always happy to explain everything. 58th Street Customs is run with pride and honesty and great workmanship!
Before I let anybody work on any vehicles i always go to Google reviews 1st to see what other people have said. Then I go to the shop and talk to the people in person to get a first hand feel. After my initial meeting with the owner Robby I felt super comfortable letting him work on my sled. He scheduled me to bring my Dyna Wide glide in for a custom chopper front end,Apehangers, cables, and custom mods and some powdercoating. He is a very knowledgeable guy, friendly and takes the time to explain things in great detail .Not many people do.What is great is having not just a run of the mill bolt on parts guy or service guy,but a full custom shop in Sarasota. Thats what I needed .Im so glad I found this place. Not only will i use him for future work,i recommend him to everyone else! Thanks Robby!
This is the Only Person I will Ever let work on my Bike !!!! The Best in the Business !!!!!! If I could give more than 5 stars I would
Best shop in town hands down!!!
Robert is the only guy I go to for any thing I need done with my motorcycle ! Regardless of how big or small ! My first bike had a simple oil leak from the shifter seal and he did it . that time I ended up getting a full service as well because I like the way he did things ! My second bike I took to him was actually MISSING PARTS IN THE FORKS !! Robert was able diagnose the problem and figure out what parts are missing and got right on it getting it fixed . He was extremely good at comunicating with me to advise what needed to be done ! I EXTREMELY RECOMMEND HIM FOR ANYTHING BIKE RELATED AND WILL CONTINUE TO GO TO HIM FOR WHAT EVER I NEED AS LONG AS I CAN STILL RIDE !!!!
This place is awesome. The owner Robbie is very knowledgeable and his costs are very fair. I trust him with all my motorcycle repairs.
Robert did a great job on my bikeHe got it back to me before the deadline he promised. I will be taking my bike back to Robert for all and any work required.Very professional and understandingThank you Robert!!
My first contact with Robbie at 58th St Customs was during a maintenance clinic for women riders. He closed his shop for approximately three hours on a Saturday morning so that there were no interruptions. The time was spent familiarizing attendees (who had various mechanical and maintenance skills) with hands-on experience to learn about the overall workings of a bike and what should ~ and could ~ be done by each individual as a responsible motorcycle owner. There was no overt sales pitch or pressure, just the desire to educate.Due to my positive experience at the clinic, I took my bike back shortly afterwards to have her serviced. When he opened her up, there were additional issues that needed to be addressed, which Robbie explained should be done concurrently instead of taking her apart a second time. He was straightforward and i felt that he did not treat me any differently than he would a male rider. Since almost without fail upon entering a dealership or repair shop we women are ignored or spoken down to, this was a refreshing change. Then, my fuel pump failed. Upon removing it, he found it to be a mess – held together by zip ties and hope, with a bit of live wire exposed. And as luck would have it, Hurricane Dorian postponed parts delivery. I was kept informed of the delays and did not have to chase down the information.Robbie has always been professional, upfront, and direct about what needs to be addressed to ensure a safe ride. His shop will be where I take my bike for whatever may be the problem, and I will continue recommend him to all.
Excellent, Honest and dependable service, with a warm personal atmosphere. I have all my bikes serviced at 58th street customs and they make you feel like part of the family and not just another customer.
Rob did an awesome job on my bike! He’s definitely my kind of shop owner. He’s super knowledgable, straight forward, doesn’t try to “sell” you on things you don’t need, and he has a fantastic eye for detail. I always recommend 58th Street Customs to anyone asking about getting work done on their motorcycle!!
Best place on town, fast fix,, and professional recommended 100%
Has worked on several of my bikes and always does amazing work. Will always have my business.
Great quality work and very trustworthy. I’ve been a customer for years.
Great shop, I always recommend 58th Street Customs to anyone that needs bike work!!! Went to 58th Street Customs about issues I was having with my bike and Robert took the time to explain what was going on and what needed to be done to resolve it which was greatly appreciated. Had Robert order parts for my bike which I figured would take 2 to 3 days and he called me the next day and said it’ll be there that day. Thank you Robert for your professionalism and the care you show for your customers, You’re Awesome!! Keep up the great work!!
Not enough stars in the sky for this guy. Robbie went above and beyond for me. Went in for an oil change on my Harley Dyna, and in the process identified and fixed an exhaust leak due to a rusty bracket that broke (no charge). I was most impressed by the fact that he let me watch the whole job, which is something Harley shops wont let you do. Definitely my new bike doc.
For years I’ve been having my bike serviced at 58th Street Customs. Robbie is always there to help and make it right. Thanks for the years of great service!
Great service and always takes care of me in a bind. Down to earth biker helping bikers.
Excellent shop for all bike work and customizing
I found this little gem at the suggestion of a friend. I have so much frustration at dealerships, they are all over the place, never know who is working on bike, prices seem to be made up by whoever is doing the ticket. So when I went into 58th I was on high alert. Robert introduced himself, walked me through the shop, asked questions and addressed concerns. I was bringing a bike that had already been worked on by another shop improperly so imagine how awesome it was to have someone finish when they said they would and came in on budget, no surprise addons. I have sent several friends there now, all love it. It is nice to have a local shop that is not a chain and that is so good at customer service and quality work. I have 5 bikes and he can work on all of them, he is not pigeonholed into one style or brand. He will also work on my older (I have two 1977s) that Harley cant....yes, that they cant (or wont) work on. He did great work on my Buell and has helped me with my KLRs as well. Certainly a quality shop that you can count on to do what they say.
I needed a tire on my bike, Robert did a great job and the price was right .I highly recommend this shop.
When I decided to buy my second bike in Florida, as a female, I needed a bike mechanic I could TRUST. Rob was recomended by several friends! Not only did he not try to charge me for a bunch of things I did not need he does not take advantage of my lack of knowledge. He didnt mind taking his time and providing 100% service. If I have any questions or concerns about my baby, Rob gets back to me with in a reasonable time ! I recommend 58th Street Customs toeveryone but even more so to ladies. He even does clinics for basic bike care!Joyland had a bike event this weekend and Rob did the engine work on a RG that won an award!!
The only place I would let work on my bike.
Very reasonable. Did good job !!!
Great work, great prices free installs on tires purchased thru the shop!
