Very courteous, prompt and took care of the two palm trees in my front yard. Been using Alligator Lawn for 7 years and the work has always been outstanding. I contacted Alligator Lawn service back in January and spoke to the owner John...I found him to be very honest, very straightforward and very personable...I moved to Florida eight months ago and the house I purchased had a front lawn that looked like the Sahara desert.I was given an estimate and he also recommended that I put topsoil down because the ground in front of my house was basically sand.His price was the best price I got...and I was not disappointed. He was attentive to every crazy question I had...called me back every time I reached out...He showed up when he said he was going to and finished the work on time. I have never had sod put down before and I was under the crazy impression that as soon as you put sod down it’s gonna look like a picture postcard lol...crazy me. John assured me that everything will grow in and I had to give it some time and he actually gave me a three month warranty on the sod... which no one else offered me.Well I now have the most beautiful lawn in my cul-de-sac I actually had pizza delivered yesterday and a woman delivered the pizza ...she looked at me and she said you have a beautiful lawn...and she said she used to do landscaping years ago ...the guy who mows my lawn says “do you want me to come over and mow the forest tomorrow“...lol...All I can say is if you want to do business with a very down to earth... very straightforward ...very real person, call John at alligator ...I was so confident that I recommended him to my sister and she was very happy with the work he did. It was a pleasure doing business with him!

This is my second job Ive called John about. The first time was to clean up a huge palm that was not taken care of by previous owners of my house last spring. They did a great job, cleaned up after themselves. We were incredibly happy. They are scheduled to come out this week to now remove said palm and to clean up a cactus. The pricing has been fair and Im looking forward to seeing the changes. I will continue to use them for future jobs. My husband and I are happy with them and the quality of their work.

Called on Sunday for emergency, was ready to come inspect work site less than 24 hours later, 2 hours after tropical storm passed over. Work performed by a different service due to a prior arrangement, but I appreciated the fast response by John of Alligator.

Dont use this service! You will be disappointed on how they treat their clients. My grass is very high from my previous landscaper not being able to come from a different city so I found them online. They did my yard front and back just fine, but they cut my hose in half. Granted it was not clearly seen amongst the brush and tall grass, but when calling them back on it they put total blame on me. My grass was so high and had thorny weeds everywhere, thats not something easyr to do. Also the way they just brushed it off like they werent responsible seems so unprofessional. I wasnt expecting a refund or a new hose, but hey no apologies miss, let me compensate with 20% off the next time at all? I guess they are used to disappointing their clients.Its sad because I quoted them on a bigger job to sod my lawn, but after the way they treated me Im not going with them. If I were you Id find a better service somewhere else.

These guys are fantastic. I called them to come out for a quote, but they ended up mowing my lawn on the spot for an awesome price. You guys rock! I will be doing business with you again soon.

Of note, I googled this site and saw good reviews so hired them on this basis. In retrospect it appears the customers were all male and the reviews are not current. This company was paid $5500 to clear a partially wooded area of 1/2 acre of palm shrubs, dead saplings and remove an oak tree. I paid after the first partial day because they were supposed to return the day after which was a HUGE mistake......not only was there no show, the debris that was removed was shoved onto county property and it took two months for them to return. The debris on my PERSONAL PROPERTY has not been cleaned, the ground has not been graded, and today was the last of many no shows, no calls. I would not recommend dealing with this company unless you are prepared for on-going disappointments and charges based on what the owner believes you can afford to pay and not the work performed.
