Over the last 10 years, I have purchased about $20,000 in appliances from Adirondack Appliance. The first 17,000 spent, all was well. A hinge that failed on a 8 year old range sent me into AA for a replacement part. They said that they could not get one (believable given the pandemic) and offered a new range. I said ok, I just want it to fit. AA had sold me the old range and, with the salesperson, we looked up the fit on the old model and then for replacements. I did not want to spend $3K on a new range but, I was assured, this was the only one that fit. Well, guess what, they installed it and it does not fit; ugly unfinished sides protrude four inches into the space between the dishwasher and the range and make the space unbearably small as well as ugly. AAs response when I called and argued that they needed to take the range back or pay to recut the counter: go hang, we are not responsible. I will never use this store again and you should not either. Unscrupulous, incompetent, and does not standby their work

We bought our washer & dryer there 21 years ago. The washer was replaced 1 year ago. The dryer is still in use !I would say high quality. Delivery and installatiin was trouble free. We got good advice on how to get longevity as a bonus!

I was a customer of yours who needed the dryer belt fixed. You gave VERY poor service as far as your phone answering service reps. They couldnt find their way out of a paper bag. However, i will say the elderly gentleman you sent over did a great job on the dryer belt, and fixed it in only 20 minutes. Too bad your customer reps. are not that great. I only bumped you from 1 star to 2 star because your field tech did a GREAT job. P.S Jo Wo is John Wolfe, And i would have called to talk to you, but your answering reps are not very good, and the answering machine cuts you off.

8 years ago I built an outdoor kitchen with appliances I purchased from Adirondack appliances. My grill required a replacement of a burner valve after this past winter. I contacted Adirondack appliances to see about a warranty. The manufacturer was very delayed in providing warranty parts. Adirondack appliances kept on it and shipped my part to me as soon as they received it. I am very pleased with their customer service.

I love the products and service we recieved from Adirondack Appliance. From the owner who helped me find the German appliances that I was looking for at the end of the day just before they were closing. To the service guys who ran out and found an electrical part we needed and even fixed a drawer that was loose while installing our kitchen appliances. I will never go anywhere else for appliance purchases, delivery and installation.

I have never written a review for a company before but am so disappointed by the service we received/didnt receive that I feel compelled to share. We called Adirondack Appliance when our dishwasher wasn’t working correctly. They sent someone out, diagnosed the problem as a broken control panel and replaced it. When it still wasn’t working, we called again and had someone come out to replace another part. Still not working and someone different came out to do a diagnostic test only to determine that the other two parts were never the issue and it was another problem entirely that would cost more than the dishwasher was worth to replace. At this point we had spent nearly $500 over a month and a half and our dishwasher still wasn’t working. When asked about crediting us back some of the cost associated with the parts that they replaced which were never broken, they told us they had no record of our payment. My husband furnished the receipts and they said that the receipts that they issued were not enough and they wanted copies of the canceled checks. We provided copies of the canceled checks and they finally acknowledged our payment but will not return any calls to make amends. Needless to say, we are out the $500 we paid to Adirondack Appliance to repair our dishwasher and went to Lowe’s to purchase a replacement.--

I have experienced customized, excellent customer service and the “go above and beyond” that you just don’t get from the big box stores. Great experience and I will definitely purchase from them again!

Do not buy ANYTHING from these terrible business people..Had a refrigerator delivered, guys in a big hurry, broke my cabinet..then when I complained, they couldnt bother to answer my call, I had to call them, again...They would not replace my cabinet, acted like I asked them to break it.. seriously! And to just make it worse the snotty woman supervisor had a big attitude..not good public relations, terrible place..NEVER BUY FROM THEM!!

I purchased a Blue Star Professional Range from Adirondack Appliance this summer, I am thrilled with it. I cant wait to show off my great culinary results with holiday dinners and parties. I was certain I wanted another brand but the informed sales staff turned me on to the Blue Star Range and I havent looked back since. The savings were significant from my original choice.The delivery people took great care in bringing the range into my home. They were very courteous and early for my delivery. I though I had a problem with the oven when it first arrived. So service came promptly to my home. It turned out to be the thermometer I was using to check it was wrong. The service man was very nice and showed me why it was my thermometer. I have made several delicious goodies and the meats are so moist and tender. I know why gourmet food tastes so good ...when you use the best equipment anyone can be a chef.Thank Adirondack Appliance for changing my mind. Im in love with my stove!

We have used them for service on older existing pieces from the previous owner and for new purchases and installation. They are great at getting back to you when needed and the repairs are stellar. After looking around at the big box stores and finding poor customer service and nothing in stock (I wanted a Bosch) I called Adirondack Appliance. Ron said he could get me the dishwasher we wanted at a very competitive price in just two days!! He did what he said and now my wife and I are thrilled!! Very fast turn around considering its tax season and most places just cant keep up with demand. Great job Adirondack!!

I seldom if ever will write a review about a competitor. But I like these guys. They know their stuff and are committed to product service. It is an anomaly in the appliance business, because service is such a money loserYou do not see any major box store with a dollar 1 investment in anything other than selling the unit. Appliances now break more frequently, so consider these guys as a very good option

I needed a refrigerator repair and Adirondack Appliance was listed as an authorized repair facility. They came to our house and would not do the repair because it was a recall. They still charged us over a $100 for a service call. When I contacted the manufacturer they informed us it was not a recall and recommended another firm who promptly came and fixed the problem. When I tried to address this with Adirondack they said they would look into it but after that would not return calls or emails. It is simply not acceptable that an authorized repair supplier can refuse to do a fairly simple repair and still charge for a service call. Worse, they will not even discuss the issue with us. Very disappointing as I was trying to support a business in our city.

I will never shop at this store again! I bought a washing machine the day before Thanksgiving and found that it wouldnt allow me to fill the machine with enough water to totally emerge my clothes in a normal wash cycle. I called the store the morning after Thanksgiving to tell them I wanted to return this particular model and purchase another (more expensive) model that I had been considering because it would fix my problem. I was told that I would have to contact the manufacturer myself to see if they would take the machine back. The store couldnt accept the return because the machine had been used.After some discussion, the owner agreed to call the manufacturer, saying that if they wouldnt take it back she might be able to with a 25% restocking fee. After talking to the customer service person (CSR) for a few minutes, providing incomplete information, she put me on the phone with the manufacturer. I told the CSR that there wasnt anything wrong with the machine but it didnt suit my purposes (and explained why), and she confirmed that it was the store to accept it back, and that I hadnt needed to contact them. The CSR confirmed this to the owner, who told me after the phone call that the CSR was wrong but that the company rep said she would help me out by taking the machine back.Basically, the owner lied to me saying that it was my responsibility to prove the machine was ineffective to the manufacturer and that she was only doing me a favor by taking it back (for exchange). She complained to me that she had spent too much time in her busy day by talking to the manufacturer for me. Such rudeness and insensitivity will not be rewarded by any further business from me, and I wanted to make sure others know what to expect from Adirondack Appliance customer service.

We have gone through multiple repair companies for our Wolf stove and Miele dishwasher without success. We called Adirondack Appliance to try another company and see if they could fix the problems and they fixed everything on the first try. They came immediately, fixed everything and were reasonably priced.

I have never been treated so bad as by their parts people. they are rude. this woman treated like we were dirt. wanted /needed a part for our washer my husband gave her model number she looked up part . my husband said oh that was not the the number i had she stated you have it wrong look it up right. he told other worker that a cupboard door was hanging on a bent hing she said what did you do break it! we stated that we had been trying to call them but no answer ( at least 10 times) she sat there and said i am busy some one will get it. while the phone was ringing . sales man was with a person and he was busy. she was just sitting there talking to other employee. i will see how it is when i go back to get the part.
