The worker showed up to fill our tanks, but pivoted to berating my wife for being vaccinated. In just a few short minutes of interaction (she was trying to disengage but he kept ranting at her), he managed to announce: 1) masks do nothing, 2) COVID isnt real, 3) people who wear masks are cowards, and 4) he carries a gun. I called their complaint line and got no follow up. Clearly their management approves of this kind of QAnon antivax propaganda happening on the clock.Please assume they will pose an infection risk to your family if you are forced to interact with them.
This propane company is honestly a mess. Every time I call there is always an issue. I have used them for almost 2 years. The first issue i had, I called to report a leak TWICE, and the woman I spoke with both times never reported it, said it was fine and when they filled us up, they would check it. (Which is complete lie, and after the situation was resolved we were informed she was new and didn’t know what she was doing) so we had a leak, and could have blown up our neighborhood because of her negligence. It went unchecked for well over a week. So finally I had to have my father call, finally someone came and tagged the tank. While the maintenance man was here, he informed me that whoever installed my tanks never gave us caps and that was the reason for our leak. We were NEVER compensated for the loss of propane. I’ve had other countless issues with them, not delivering the full amount of propane we paid for yet had enough room in our tanks for the correct amount.. Now this was the icing on the cake for us. We called on a Tuesday to report we were out completely and needed to be filled. (Of course that’s our fault for running out) We paid, they told us 1-7 business days and if we wanted emergency delivery it would be $200 additional fee. No problem, I try to be reasonable and we decide to wait it out and use space heaters. My friend lives 3 houses down from me, (who also uses them) called for a fill, on Thursday... two days after me! Somehow here we are on Friday and she gets her propane delivered and I’m still on empty!!! It took ONE DAY to get hers delivered, yet it’s been 4 days and we still haven’t gotten filled. It’s February, it’s freezing! It is always an issue with Ferrellgas, and if we weren’t planning on moving soon, I would have already switched companies. I’ve never experienced a company with so many constant problems and screw ups. I try to be reasonable and I’m never rude, but this is just absolutely ridiculous. I do not recommend them to anyone!!
