Car issues can be stressful, but they made my car care easy! I called first so they let me know a good time window to come in. Lunch on a Tuesday was from 12-1pm, and 1:30pm was a good time. They talked me through why my tire pressure light was on, and fixed it the same day. Mike and the crew have had regular customers for over 20 years, and now I am one! 5-stars all day!

I highly recommend this shop! The mechanics, employees and owner are super friendly and knowledgeable. They helped get our vehicles fixed. I am especially happy with how they took care of my van. I was quoted $3K by Honda to fix the master switch. For a 2010 vehicle, thats not worth it. Seaside didnt give up and worked until they found the problem. The cost was much less and now my key fobs AND sliding doors work. They will definitely keep us as customers.

My wife’s car had several engine/sensor lights as well as an A/C problem. I work next door to these guys and thought I would give them a shot. I am certainly glad I did! These guys are absolutely spectacular. No BS, professional, very knowledgeable, and honest. They had my car all day and had to do several test drives to get the A/C to act up so they could diagnose the issue. I was almost afraid to walk over and pay after it was fixed. Well I didn’t even have to charge it! I cannot say enough good things about them and they certainly earned a lifetime customer in me! I highly recommend!

Found the problem right away and didnt take me to the cleaners. They seem honest and knowledgeable. Didnt seem like they dragged out the labor. Ill be taking my vehicles here until I have a reason not to.

New to the area, and this place had good reviews so I thought I would try them out. Nice friendly staff but thats about all this place has to offer. Brought my truck in for rough idle and stalling issues and told the tech what my symptoms were and what parts I had changed. Since the truck had no codes or check engine light I feel as if they couldnt troubleshoot anything unless the light was on to give them direction. I can read a codes all day long, yet I brought it to a shop to have a real diagnosis done and troubleshooting by a certified technician; however, I do not feel that was the case here. They had my truck for 3 work days and couldnt find anything wrong so I had to pay for them to tell me they didnt know what was wrong. As soon as I got in my truck in their parking lot the truck just about stalled and was running obviously very rough as I had described. I dont know what they did for the 3 days they had it besides turn my steering wheel black from grease....I DO NOT recommend this place for a real diagnostics.

Went to Seaside because it was recommended by a friend. My car wouldnt start and I thought it might be the ignition or the alternator. Turned out it wasnt starting because I had just bought a new battery and the technician from the store I had bought it from had installed it wrong. Seaside corrected the mistake and only charged me for the electrical systems check that they did. Definitely coming back here if my car needs maintenance. Thanks!

My cars AC all of a sudden quit blowing cold, I took it to Seaside on a whim expecting the worst, maybe a $1000+ repair bill - turned out just to be an internal switch that needed replacing and only a $75 labor charge for the whole thing! Weve also taken our fleet trucks there to get serviced and have never had any issues, theyve always been straight shooters. Id recommend them anytime.

These guys are GREAT! Honest quality work.

They had my entire familys autp work for about 6 years spending many thousands of dollars. At that time, I would have given them 5 stars. Tehy are expensive but were convenient. 2-3 years ago, their work started getting sloppy, the cars had to go back more than once for the same repairs and repairs were getting shoddy. The owner didnt know when to hire additional mechanics or stop taking new work so they were rushed, leading to shortcuts and customer service decline.We had a new car that needed a side view mirror. They ordered it, had it painted and installed it. This was an OEM part. It wasnt flush and would make a lot of noise at highway speed. After bringing it back twice and being told it was installed properly, I removed the door panel to find that only 2 of the three nuts securing the mirror were attached and one of the other two was cross threaded. That was the end of our relationship. Prior to that, we had a car towed in after over heating. The radiator was replaced along with the thermostat. The vehicle over heated the next day requiring a tow. Two days after I got it back, it overheated and needed to be towed. I sold the car a few weeks later after parking it. It over heated again and was taken to another shop for repair. Maybe they have gotten their act together by now. Who knows.

About two hours down the road after an engine oil change and some fuel system maintenance we were having a sudden unexpected problem with our 1990 jimmy, which is rigged for towing behind our RV. We go to the closest mechanic we can find. I describe the problem to the gent behind the desk… the fact that the engine idle is suddenly running too high and the brakes are requiring a great deal of pressure on the pedal. He says lets have a look. He has me start the engine & shut off the A/C so he can listen for escaping air. He apparently hears it over the sound of the engine and then feels around before pretty quickly finding a disconnected connection where the Unified Tow Brake vacuum pump is teed into the jimmy’s primary vacuum line. After fiddling around we get this reconnected and “presto” everything is working properly. Wow! And then to top it all off, the mechanic tells us, “no charge”! Wow! And we are out of there before we can fully recover from all the dark thoughts we were having over mechanical mystery problems. Hooeee! Seaside Auto Repair deserves a huge Attaboy and many thanks.

These guys are kindve shifty.I was told that I needed a whole new air compressor for my AC system and that I wouldnt have AC until I get it replaced when I brought my honda accord (with less than 131k miles on it) in to have my ac charged.They then added that they also might get in there and find another thing wrong with it as well.... and that could cost more.... but so far they wanted $800 (for the compressor install and the part).I went to get a second opinion less than a half mile up A1A at Pauls automotive and he fixed the low pressure intake valve (where you add the freon) because it was faulty/ broken, and added the right amount of freon for a whopping total of $90.My AC blows ice cold, and needless to say I will not be going back to Seaside/Beachside automotive for any more maintenance work.:-P

Had my car taken there for new tires and they didnt put tires back on right and one flew off when I was driving two days later. Got in a car accident and ruined car. They refused to pay for damages and just yelled and argued. If u want careless, wreckless people working on ur car take it there. Bad business practicing and unprofessional, they even said themselves its happened before to another customer but wouldnt take respondsiblity for anything. DONT GO THERE!!!
